“Went to the Coast Guard House for my daughter's birthday a couple of weeks ago. Our server Julie made us feel comfortable like family. She was very attentive taking care of every need we might have. The food was great. I will definitely be back. Hope I get Julie for a server again.“

“I was there last night and it was packed! The food was excellent and our server, Rowan was amazing. You could tell he was hustling but was always on top of things and never appeared overwhelmed. He was so kind and friendly. He gave us the right amount of attention. He was very attentive. We didn't feel rushed and we never felt as though we were waiting too long either. Very patient when we couldn't decide between all of the delicious sounding choices. Can't wait to go back!“

“Best seafood in Rhode Island! If the line is long, it is worth the wait! We have been going since we moved here in 2020, and have taken multiple out-of-state guests who also love it and always ask to go back! If you have multiple food allergies, like gluten, dairy, and nuts, they are also great at accommodating! I haven’t gotten sick once yet! It was also the first restaurant our August newborn went to in 2022; his current favorite is fried shrimp and fries! Highly recommend Jimmy’s for the food, the iconic Block Island ferry atmosphere, and the hardworking, loving family who are wicked friendly when they aren’t immensely busy. We will be there next month for the first time this year! 🥳“

Amazing local farm-to-table options that keep us and those who visit us asking to go back to that one place in Newport, I really loved! The service to guests with one or more allergies was superb! The chef personally came to our table on each visit to discuss what meals were safe to order. I have multiple allergies, so sometimes they would have made me my own off-the-menu special dish. “Just finished great meal. Huge lobster roll, high quality kids chicken and big beefy kids burger. I had the fish n chips which was amazing! Old Bay fries and what had to be a whole Cod! Whiskey Braised Short ribs and they were absolutely delicious!! For dessert we had the scrumptious brownie with ice cream and whipped cream!! So yummy 😋!! Grace put a candle in the dessert and took some photos!!

“We were a large party at lunch time. Wait staff was excellent! Most of my companions enjoyed their food, with the fig jam and prosciutto pizza a highlight. My name chow was beautiful and colorful to look at, but the noodles were crunchy instead of chewy, spoiling the dish. Wait staff was outstanding.“

“We contracted Angles Kitchen to cater the reception following my father's memorial service. I got so many compliments on the food, and I know that several guests sought out John to complement him personally. The service was both professional and warm. We plan on using them again for two events this Summer. Full caveat; they'er a little laid-back, and their were a few times when I got nervous, but in the end...TOTAL professionals (did I mention that the food was prepared on-site?) I give Angels Kitchen my highest recommendation.“

“We came in Sunday evening for a small dinner and dessert and sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and filled our drinks quickly. It was pretty empty when we got there but packed when we left. The food was AMAZING. We shared the short rib special and it was so good! For dessert we had the chocolate mousse and bread pudding which were also sooooo good! The restaurant itself was beautiful. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely dine here again!“

“Honestly a great cozy breakfast spot right at the bottom of the hotel which makes it super convenient if your trying to get something to eat either first thing in the morning or at the end of your night, the food is also super good so you can't go wrong with anything you pick!“

“They were able to accommodate me on a busy weekend, even let me choose my seat even though I was alone and they had people continuing to arrive. The hostess and waitress were friendly, the food was delicious (pesto shrimp pizza), the view was nice as it's right on the water, and I chose a table that allowed me to see it properly. The band I was particularly happy about- I thought they were fantastic- they played early rock n roll, and I wish I asked their name.

It's a really relaxed atmosphere, not fancy, think old patio furniture. My table was not steady and rocked when you moved, the chairs were plastic, but I didn't mind. If you want a good meal on the water and are not picky about that, I'd recommend this place.

“Absolutely great food and service. Dined last Saturday evening with two of our teen and preteen grandchildren. All of us enjoyed our meals and the service was on point. This next point deserves mentioning as it speaks to the culture of the establishment: When my granddaughter became ill (NOT food related), the manager came over immediately to help comfort her… she brought hot tea and took her to more private quarters to relax until her discomfort passed. We were impressed and remain grateful for the compassion and level of care exhibited. We will continue to visit again and again in the future. Many thanks!!!“
