“📅 01.04.25 ✍🏾 BIG AL’S WRITTEN REVIEW EP. CANCELLED Ella’s Food & Drink 👎🏾 📍 Westerly, Rhode Island I pulled up to Ella’s to do what I’ve done over 197 times before. I filmed a quick intro outside, walked in, got a quick vid of the interior and before I got to sit down for a food review it went downhill fast. Almost immediately, the energy felt off. As I started my usual walkthrough (phone in hand), the interaction with the owner turned uncomfortable. Instead of being welcoming or neutral, the tone came off as condescending, rude and dismissive. There was no effort to de-escalate the situation, and I quickly felt unwelcome in the space. At that point, I made the right decision to leave. I didn’t raise my voice. I didn’t make a scene. I simply chose not to stay where I didn’t feel respected or welcomed. I’m always courteous, polite, and respectful when I walk into any establishment, and my money is just as good as anyone else’s. I would have easily dropped $250 on that visit including a generous tip for my server. When the vibe is off, I listen to that instinct. “Really cool employees that are down to earth. I like that they use local beef. Cowboy burger is phenomenal. It is a bit pricey. However, I used to spend 15$ - 20$ at McDonald's and get the same thing! Graze has real meat. Fries could be better, but at graze they are made with beef tallow I beleive. Anyways, Cheyenne is really cool. Pretty sure she's the day manager at the Westerly location.“

“We are from Connecticut, and headed to East beach yesterday, on one of the hotter days. Wanted to try something different for dinner and found this place. I highly highly recommended. Love the building, the location and especially the food. Very, very creative, but approachable and delicious. We tryed acouple of the different tacos, and also the green curry on grits, which made my mouth very, very happy. You've got to try this place.“

“I can't find the words to express how pleased I am with Alley Katz. I posted on Facebook looking for a local Alley that offered cosmic bowling for my son's birthday and AK delivered. They couldn't offer a standard party but their flexibility and accommodations were phenomenal. The staff was attentive to everyone's lanes, bartender made great drinks, the food was exceptional, and the establishment was cozy, welcoming, and clean. This was my family’s first time here and we had an absolute blast! We're already planning our next trip. Support small & local. ❤️“

“We can't decide which was better...the outstanding food or the exceptionally personalized service!? This is what I expected from the lovely reviews I've read. However, experiencing it all far exceeded our expectations ! Eve was our perfect server for the evening. Sweet, kind, professional and appropriate. We had an unexpected fire alarm during our 1st course. We were escorted to the veranda of the hotel to await the fire department's assessment. No harm, and no fire. After quite a time, Ocean House hotel staff welcomed us back to our seating at Coast, with champagne, & an appetizer of oysters, while the kitchen staff started up their food prep again. They couldn't be kinder to help remedy this interruption to our meal.~ The rest of the courses, prepared by Chef Adam''s team was truly the best meal we've ever eaten. Thank you to all the staff at Coast~ and we cannot wait to return for our next beautiful and tasty meal.“

“Standard sports bar with pub fare, decent craft beer selection and my mom's favorite wine. It's been up and down here with food and service speed but on my last visit (5/4/23), the food came quickly and looked really solid. I didn't eat but had a few craft beers. Bartender isn't the most knowledgeable on the craft offerings but the selection is good! Came for trivia on a Thursday evening.“

“The cutest restaurant and hotel in watch hill Rhode Island. The service was 5 star! Cute and cozy atmosphere and the oceanfront views were stunning! Ordered the burrata, pasta and burger! (the burger was a little bland) but will most definitely be back to try other menu items. The perfect place to get together with your girlfriends, a date, or a special occasion/celebration!“

“Well, I have to say the people that work there are amazing. From last year, hopefully we have the same team. This year and some newer faces. Your guy's food is outstanding and your service is phenomenal and also the drinks. The shark attack is one of my favorites. Please. I advise you only to get one. Do not drink 2. I've tried it not the best, but one will do it. And also, fish and chips.Also, I'd have to recommend the lobster roll out of this world, and if you can't get enough of that, don't forget about the T. H c drinks hands down I will recommend this to anyone. Please come out and definitely check out. Patty's beach club. I visit here 10 times out of the year. And every year they keep me coming back more and more. Because they have awesome bands and cool dj.I can't wait for this year 2026“
