“There is a reason Dante's always has people waiting out side to get a table here. The food is that good. They serve breakfast dishes that you can't get anywhere else and that sets them apart. Try the Hot Pastami Benedict! It is so flavorful and delicious! You will go back again time after time to order that and the many more delectable meals on the menu. Such as Huevos Rancheros, Pulled Pork Hash, or the Fried Green Tomato BLT. You have to get the Beignets whether you go for breakfast or lunch. They are perfect to share! This is must! I am a big burger guy and generally judge pubs and taverns based on their bacon burger and this place didn't disappoint. Food was great, beer was cold, price was right, and service was pleasant. “This is our second night out at The Harris and our experience was excellent, again. The atmosphere is busy in a vibrant, good time, almost celebratory way. The staff is welcoming and attentive. As a guest, you feel like everyone involved cares about your experience. The food is tasty, well seasoned and cooked just right. Even the sides are well thought out. I had the blackened shrimp, for a second time since it was so good. Love the mashed potato with the skin left on. My husband had a huge prime rib cooked just right and my daughter had the cod. Definitely going back to explore more of this menu. Great way to have a well done meal and have a good time close to home.“
“Homestead has been a family favorite since Matt first opened the place! Hearing that they had a new owner we decided to visit and see what has changed. We weren't disappointed; they've kept all the old favorites and had an interesting list of specials. Knowing there was a new chef I thought I'd try items off the Specials menu. The Calamari Olio was delicious !! There was a great ratio of tomatoes, olives and peppers to the calamari. The rings themselves were cooked to perfection; I'd definitely order it again! Corn chowder and clam chowder were great as always. My husband went for the fried scallops served with fries and slaw. It was just as good as always. I tried the chicken piccata with potato and veggie. It was scrumptious!! I dare so it was so flavorful that I don't think it even needed the breading on the chicken. The servers, as always, are super friendly, efficient and add to the dining experience. The kitchen was a bit backed up but it's an all new back house staff and I have no doubt they will have it together in short order. Don't let reviews about the place being a local hangout serving 'comfort food' dissuade you from making the drive. The homey atmosphere, the front staff service and the food itself make it worth the drive! We will definitely continue to keep The Homestead in our list of places to dine!“

“It's del's...what else I can say. How can you go wrong with a cold lemonade on a hot summer day. The only problem I've ever had is I think it's a little pricey for flavored ice but it's always been like that so I'll keep going there.“
“We were seated comfortably away from other diners as we were dining early and there was available seating, we very much appreciated that. Billy was our server and a top notch one he was. Pleasantly took care of the necessary questions then followed thru with all required checking and providing and all with a friendly demeanor which we also like. It was our 36th wedding anniversary and we had celebrated at the old Mr. Marcos on the wedding night which is today the Meritage. Upon patiently listening to our story Billy kindly offered a cake "on the house". As nice as the offer was we were both very full having thoroughly enjoyed our baked cod (simple but superb) and a perfectly cooked filet mignon. I am thrilled that the area has a consistently excellent restaurant with affordable prices. There is a nicely varied, eclectic menu which would suit most tastes.“
