“Food is absolutely amazing!!! Mash potatoes are flavorful. Chicken and steak cooked to perfection!! Front of the house very slow :/ I'm we got our appetizer before our drinks! We got our side salad with our meal.. ( didn't know what to eat first). Our wait wasn't long, which was very nice. Location is perfect :)“

“Had the 2-course lunch special for $22 and everything was delicious. The lobster roll was served hot or cold, pictured is the hot roll with a nice garlic flavor on the bread. Steak in the sandwich was tender and not fatty and the fries are perfect. Service was timely, and serves was informative. Highly recommend trying them out.“

“Pleasantly surprised!! The menu was a little challenging for us to read. Lots of words we didn't recognize and honestly nothing was really jumping out at us for some reason. But then we started to see some food walking by to other tables (we needed a visual menu lol) and knew it was gonna be good. Ceasar salad was insanely good. Came with smoked blue fish it was the perfect meal. Fantastic clam chowder. Homemade bread. Everything was homemade or local and you could tell they take great pride in everything they make and serve, including an espresso martini made with so much love. “Much like the other reviews, I had a fantastic experience with Darwin. The mark of a good bartender is being able to make a great “bartenders choice” drink with your liquor/palate preference. Overall the drinks where great with the service to match. A go-to nightcap in Newport for sure.“

I can't wait for my next visit to this cute little New England town.Most recently I had the pleasure of dining at Revival through a recommendation from a close friend and MAN! this place did not disappoint. The inside is cozy and welcoming, the service was speedy and friendly and the food selection was incredible. I also love a place that has specials - my mother in law enjoyed the short rib pappardelle. My first time having Osso Bucco and OMG - I need it again and again. Cocktails weren't half bad either, I'd love to return for a more casual snack and drink.“

“Sometimes you just need a good burger and bar - and Malt delivered! Cozy bar/restaurant with an awesome drink/cocktail/beer selection - and was pretty packed at 830 on a Saturday night. I had the Malt burger and it was great / cooked perfectly and tasty with bacon, pickled onion jam, mustard aioli, etc - the kitchen knows how to upgrade a burger! Draft Beer selection was impressive - I particularly loved this Pilsner from VT. Waiter was great - and they must make a mean espresso martini - as we saw a lot of them coming out from the bar! Menu is varied - and prob want to try the cod/risotto next time. Great experience and loved the ‘whole package’ at Malt!“

“Our first time trying this restaurant and we were not disappointed. It was early in the morning so not crowded at all but even if it was the dining room is spacious and inviting. Our server was friendly and helpful explaining the menu. My wife chose the traditional eggs Benedict which she never had before and loved it. I went with the 3 eggs, home fries, and toast with a side of chourico. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. To top it off the price was great.“

“My husband and I have gone here a few times for dinner, and always have a good time. This past time was over the summer on a basic evening and we got to sit outside, which was very nice. “Had lunch with family. Ordered burgers as part of the Newport, RI Burger Bender. Burger was cooked perfectly and was on point. Jalapeño aioli was killer. Really enjoyed. Staff were very accommodating. My mother-in-law has difficulty with stairs. The staff happily directed us to park behind the hotel to avoid stairs. They had a parking attendant meet us and escort us to the restaurant. Very nice indeed. Lunch time was pretty quiet compared to the hustle and bussle of downtown Newport. Was nice and quiet. Very relaxing for us seniors wanting a quiet relaxing place to dine for lunch.“

“We love it here, the food is delicious except they put way too much salt on their home fries. The staff is wonderful too. The only thing is they charge you $2.50 for butter which most other restaurants don't charge anything. Overall a lovely place.“

Steak seemed like it was refired after being sliced - maybe it came off too pink or timing was off? Not sure! Really tasty gin martini, absolutely would recommend! Beer list was inaccurate - three IPAs listed but only one was available. Also, it never makes sense to me when local beer served on draft is more expensive than its canned counterpart, particularly when it's something like a brewery's flagship recipe or an easy pale ale. Am excited to see this restaurant's team get some more water under the keel and really come together - I'll be back!“

“This meal was refreshing to our palate and digestive system from eating heavy this whole trip. We are glad we stumbled onto this establishment. We ordered the hummus plate with veggies and my first time eating watermelon radish, now probably is my favorite veggie. Also my first time eating a wedge salad with a knife but worth it to have the best salad in a lifetime. Oh just to balance it all with a side of fries as I compared to Wingstop (sometimes not hot/fresh) cause that’s my standard of fresh hot good fires. Also not pictured is the Narragansett beer, is easily my favorite beer of all time due to being smooth that isn’t a lite beer, has the fullness of a beer and don’t taste the hopines of it.The service was 3.5 stars because we were the only ones when we placed our order and it took a minute to get our veggie plate…. but after that the other two came in a timely fashion. Service provided was welcoming the moment we walked in. Ambiance we had to imagine cause we were the only two until we had to leave but we imagined the full swing of this place of how lively it can be.**They have good plenty of gluten free options!“

There was an event going on next door which seemed to bring people in and create more carry out. I will definitely need to come back for dinner service!“
