I came here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and everything was phenomenal. The food and the drinks were both incredible. We both got one of their homemade sodas, the ginger and the lemon lime, and they were both so light and refreshing. I got the summer squash fettuccini and the noodles were incredible and the sauce was so comforting and delicious. Best food in Rhode Island. There’s an actual chef who cares more about the food than the view. Love it. So glad we found it!
I rarely post reviews, but I had to make an exception for this superb restaurant. From start to finish, it was a memorable dining experience.
St. Martha is a beautifully designed, comfortable and homey restaurant. The bar is fantastic, and the dining room seating is spaced nicely, The outdoor seating area is lovely and filled with bright, flower arrangements. Saint Martha is a beautifully designed, comfortable and homey restaurant that feels old‑world, Euro‑Chic. The space is calming and cozy, with a bar that is fantastic and a wine list that offers many choices. The bartender makes a mean drink and is friendly and attentive. The Co‑Owner is warm and shares expertise when asked.
Guests are welcomed with a homemade soda – ginger and lemon lime – that is light and refreshing. The menu is full of creative dishes. Starters include Montauk shrimp, squash blossoms, soft shell crab, Black Onion Garlic dip with house‑made potato chips, Roasted Farm Carrots & Beets, Lamb and Beef Meatballs, Citrus & Radicchio Salad, and Caesar salad. The sauce on the meatballs is “finger‑lickin good.” Entrées are equally impressive. Options such as summer squash fettuccini, duck, soft shell crab, green crab spaghetti, lamb loin, Black Sea bass with creamed corn, bok choy and shallots, chicken cacciatore, Mushroom ravioli, rack of lamb, White Lamb Ragu, Roasted Lamb Loin, Nettie & Ramp Pesto Fettucini, and pappardelle with ragu are cooked to perfection, tender, medium‑rare, or out of this world. Desserts include Basque cheesecake, Frangipane buckwheat tart with Almond ice cream, and a classic cheesecake.
Service is attentive, thoughtful and friendly. The staff are great and the seating is spaced nicely. Outdoor seating has bright flower arrangements and a window view. The overall experience is memorable and a must‑visit in Rhode Island. Guests leave satisfied and eager to return. The atmosphere encourages conversation and relaxation.
