The atmosphere was beautiful, with fresh flowers, charming table settings, and plenty of convenient parking. The menu offered an excellent selection of fresh brunch and lunch options to choose from! We were especially impressed by the variety of mocktails available - our cold brew mocktail was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect spot for a girls' day, and I would happily return again.“

“Been coming here since their initial location in Greenville. Went to their new location and loved it. Definitely smaller, but loved the intimate setting. Especially when guests embrace the concept. It’s like you’re all experiencing dining together prompting conversation with strangers gathering for the common love of food. Love everything about this new place. “all I can say is WOW! Im not easily impressed by any restaurant. Main Sail Kitchen blew me away! The mussels were the best I've ever had. I could eat them every day of my life (order extra bread to soak up the delicious sauce) thr shrimp is poached well and is the size of a lobster tail. “Our first time to Terra Negra was on January 1st 2026. My wife and I had an amazing time. The food, drinks and service was awesome.

We came back for the second time on Sunday January 4th for the Brunch. Again. Food , drinks and service out of this world.

“The place where you can eat real soul food“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“Fine dining done right! I can tell how much attention was put into everything we ate. We went w 2 charcuterie meats as an app and I went w the monkfish as a main course. While not an immense amount of food, it was perfect as I’d eaten a couple hours earlier. Regardless, it was delicious- the best part may have been the veggies!

Half chicken and sea bass were also delicious. I haven’t even mentioned service and vibes, which were great.“

“It's a beautiful restaurant with highly considerate staff. My friend has food allergies and every aspect of the food prep was communicated and confirmed with her. The saladbar is one of my favorite things, though I missed the fresh hot loaves of bread that used to be at the end of the saladbar.“
