“I have tried a few of their restaurants and find the quality to be consistent. Food is always fresh and delicious. Drinks are well made and there is a large variety of beers on tap. When shopping at Wrentham it is a great place to meet friends and sit down. I recommend a reservation. When Wrentham is busy it can be hard to get a table.“
“This was our first time at The Gavel. Definitely a place to hang out with friends or family.. We went on a Friday night and had a typical 40 minute or so wait. They do not have reservations. However the wait seemed to pass quickly as we had an attentive bar tender and enough space to hang out with live music.The food was very good, six people in our party and sense I can't figure out how to do 4-1/2 stars on the rating I'm putting it here. My only slightly issue was the batter on the fish and chips dinner was a little to crispy for my liking, but that's me, otherwise an excellent experience and we will be going back again.“
“Having dined at Basil Restaurant last night, I must say the ambiance was top-notch. The dim lighting and cozy seating made for a pleasant atmosphere. However, the service was a bit slow, as it took quite some time for our food to arrive. Nonetheless, when the dishes finally made their way to our table, they were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the basil-infused pasta, which was bursting with flavor. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food, but I do wish the portions were a tad larger. Overall, Basil Restaurant offers a decent dining experience with room for improvement in service efficiency.“

“Thought the waiter was top notch, we had 14 people in our party, a few provided feedback on what they ordered. The fish tacos were underwhelming, lacked flavor as did the chicken Marcello which was very bland. The fish and chips were a big surprise, large portion of fish, rather than the typical large portion of fries! My seafood with angle hair pasta was good, but a bit too much oil, and scollops were slightly over cooked, but I would order it again.“
“Never disappoints! This place is quaint and hopping! We are from New York visiting our son and his family and have eaten here before. Service was superb. The chicken and broccoli flatbread...definitely tasty. Bolognese and chicken Parmesan were both delicious. Will absolutely come back on our next visit!“

Now we made a tradition that every time I get an oil change done in Franklin, it is a requirement to get a meal from Mac City.Good luck trying to take a picture of the masterpiece. We got two appetizers corndog bites and chicken fingers. I will say they were excellent. “We booked a rehearsal dinner here. Food and service were great. As a former function manager, the head chef was very unprofessional. He should not be the main point of contact to book a function. My mother in law sent a cc for deposit information months in advance to which she received no response. Since she was in charge of the rehearsal dinner I did not check back in until closer to the date. I emailed John to confirm the menu to which his response was "You never sent a deposit" etc. all using accusatory words. I immediately sent over the email my mother in law forwarded me with the deposit information she sent 5 months prior to which she received no response. Had I known there was no response I would have called sooner. I called after John's email and spoke to Eric who was a great help. All was fixed and went well, but please have another point of contact for functions who is equipped to speak with the general public. There were so many ways to go about speaking with the bride and John's approach was not one of them.“
“Delicious food and cocktails but the kitchen is usually very slow. Always a long wait for food whether dining in or taking out. Love the burata board, blackened chicken tacos, fish tacos and turkey tips. The pizza and salads are pretty good too. Kids love the chicken tenders kids meal. Great place, they just need to get things together in the kitchen.“
“After seeing a post of the pepperoni pizza on facebook... we had to go for ourselves. I got the cheese pizza and the boyfriend got baked stuffed haddock. “My family and I had dinner here for the first time yesterday to celebrate my nephew's birthday. There were 11 of us and the restaurant did a good job accommodating us for the large party size. I am really writing this review for our wonderful waitress Gabby! She did an amazing job tending to us and getting our orders in a timely manner. She said this was her first time doing a large table but I couldn't even tell. She handled it like a champ! Thank you Gabby for your wonderful service! My family and I enjoyed our time here. “This is the go-to pizza place in Medfield, but I think it is under appreciated for its other food. The curly fries here are amazing - crispy and always hot. The pizza is okay, but nothing crazy, it’s a little thin and dry. I would recommend getting one of the sandwiches and definitely the fries. Get the fries.“
“me and my fellow POC friendsies decided to take on this restaurant after a night out driving go karts … lemme just say the food is legit chefs kiss . i was doing some serious slurpin on them mussels! lasagna fritters, mussels, egg plant fries, shrimp scampi all amazing. sam the waitress had interesting mannerisms to say the least but she was cool i guess! we said we really bringing the diversity to wrentham tonight ! period. yes i would come back again“
