“I ordered a cheeseburger at the great price of $8.99! Waitress asked what I wanted with the cheeseburger. I said french fries. Order was received with a good amount of french fries!! When she gave me the bill I was charged and extra $5.00 for the french fries! When I questioned her, she said it only comes with chips. I said "you should tell people there will be an extra charge for french fries!! I'm going back again and will look menu over more closely! Other than that it's ok!“

She was attentive without being intrusive and it was evident that she really cared about providing a good experience. we each had a tasty cocktail and the food was great! My fiance had the papardelle bolognese and I had the steak frites. My steak was a perfect medium and the bookings was great as well. A little more pricey than the TGIFriday's that used to be here (🤣), but not terribly unreasonable either. We will definitely be back!“

“I came here for the first time to celebrate my brother-in-law’s birthday, and I absolutely loved everything about it. From the moment I walked in, I was hooked. The ambiance is incredible, the décor is stunning, and the walls are filled with fascinating artwork. The music set the perfect vibe, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. “The food and atmosphere during our latest visit to New Rivers were both excellent, as expected. It was the service that really stood out on this visit. When we arrived, the hostess kindly made sure we sat at the table she selected for us, rather than the bar as we requested, because she selected the best table in the restaurant for us. From there, our server struck the perfect tone. Warm, hospitable, discreet, and attentive, she made sure that we were able to keep the night about us, rather than her service. She seemed to anticipate our needs, never interrupting at an awkward moment or lingering too long. We enjoyed a leisurely, intimate meal gazing at the city's twinkling lights. The food was, as always, excellent, a wonderful expression of seasonal New England fare, presented artfully. This has been my new restaurant to take people to impress them. I’ve brought my whole family here. They were extremely impressed and they are a tough crowd to please….trust me. I’ve also had my whole office go out here one night and they were blown away. My friends from out of town told me that next time they come this is the first place we are going. “My husband and I went for the first time on Saturday and sat at the bar. We ordered apps and cocktails and of course oysters. Best oysters in RI by far believe it or not. Drinks were ok but food fabulous! Would have given 5 stars if not for the bartender. She focused solely on my husband the entire time even gave him a free drink. It was very obvious and blatant disrespect to me. My husband even commented on feeling uncomfortable. As a former bartender the general rule is to pay more attention to the wife than the husband out of respect but also because most often the wife is writing the tip. We will for sure be going back but will sit at a table and maybe only order sparkling water.“

“This has been my husband and I’s go to place for the last few years. Over the last couple of months we have noticed a decline in portions. While we understand that prices are higher for food, you really shouldn’t bump down in quality, just raise the price if you need to. People may not noice a slight uptick in price but definitely notice the portion size. My husband always favors a whole belly clam and scallops plate and last night he was served that combo with only two whole bellies, the rest were just batter pieces and four scallops that were overcooked , it was so disappointing. My surf and turf was downsized from three baked stuffed shrimp down to two and the prime rib was much smaller. While we could have said something, it should have been noticed before it left the kitchen! We are not people to complain and the staff is always great but I guess my point is, we noticed and may think twice before returning and that saddens us.“

“My cousin and I were in town for the Korn concert last night (we live in Albany NY) and we popped in for a drink, some snacks and football before heading back, we sat at the bar and had the pretzels, fried pickles and a cocktail, awesome food and drinks and lovely bartenders who even put the Saints football game on for us on the TV directly in front of us, we wish we could’ve stayed longer!!
