Gracie's Reviews
Gracie’s vegetarian and tasting menus were creative, fun, and delicious! Can’t wait to discover more.
Visited from Washington, DC for Newport Folk and capped our weekend with Gracie's. Blown away by the 7-course taster and top-class wine pairings. Worth a special journey, can't wait to come back.
As always the food was prepared with great attention to detail, with a wonderful mix of flavors and textures. We were not big fans of the Red Velvet cake however. It was dry and really didn't have any perceptible notes of red velvet flavors, and the beets while a good thought didn't really help the dish at all. Our service team was led by Jim who was ok, not very personable or outgoing, but our back waiter was Sea and she was excellent, informative and very pleasant.

Gracie's is a beloved restaurant in the city, offering a sanctuary of exceptional cuisine and attentive service. The menu features a delightful selection, including the renowned beets, gnocchi, and duck dishes. Guests can choose from the à la carte menu or the three-course menu, which showcases Gracie's most popular offerings. The warm, expertly crafted bread enhances the overall dining experience, creating a cherished memory for all who visit.
The service at Gracie's is friendly, professional, and very accommodating, with a staff dedicated to making guests feel valued. The restaurant is also a great venue for special occasions, with attentive staff ensuring every event is perfect. From the moment guests arrive, they are greeted warmly, often feeling like they’re among friends. Celebrations are made extra special with small touches like a handwritten poem or a prosecco toast.
Many diners praise the food for being delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The beets, gnocchi, and duck dishes receive particular praise as some of the best they've ever had. Desserts are described as outstanding, and the wine pairings by the sommelier are highly appreciated. Guests often leave with a sense of satisfaction, sometimes finding little extras like cookies waiting inside or their car delivered by valet.
While some note the noise level can be quite high and mention a service charge for credit card use, these minor issues do not detract from the overall excellent experience. Gracie's has earned a reputation as one of the best dining destinations in Providence, with its commitment to quality, attention to detail, and warm atmosphere making it a must-visit for food lovers.
