“I came here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and everything was phenomenal. The food and the drinks were both incredible. We both got one of their homemade sodas, the ginger and the lemon lime, and they were both so light and refreshing. I got the summer squash fettuccini and the noodles were incredible and the sauce was so comforting and delicious. My boyfriend got the soft shell crab to start and the duck, which he said were both incredible. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so calming and cozy and the staff were great. Will return.“

“I had a birthday celebration at this restaurant. We sat near the cozy fireplace on a chilly night. The cheeseboard (varied cheeses, focaccia bread, honey, blackberries, nuts, jam, greens) and Pt. Judith calamari were beautifully presented. Excellent bottle of Pinot Grigio from Tuscany, Italy added to food, Staff was very accomodating. I enjoyed mussels, scallops, little necks over pasta in scampi sauce. Others had the salmon as well as the bolognese. It's a very roomy, quiet setting near the water. Staff came out to sing happy birthday with a luscious ice cream dessert with a candle on top. I was pleasantly surprised. We will return to this place for sure!“

“I wanted to come back and leave a review for this unique and cozy restaurant. Me and my husband dropped in and honestly had one of the best dinners we've ever had. The vibe of this restaurant in general is great. It's quiet, cozy dimly lit Aunt. I couldn't stop staring and everything. The food was amazing and tasty. I had the Mozambique mac and cheese which was suggested by our lovely pleasant waitress. It was so tasty, one of the better dishes I've had in years. The chicken wings, are the best chicken wings I've ever had. They were the Sriracha honey wings, crispy and incredibly juicy and tender. We also had the deconstructed s'mores dessert which was so good and I'm not a huge dessert person and even I was amazed by this. We would definitely come back again and I highly recommend you come here for dinner.“

Her attention to detail was impressive, from promptly changing out silverware between courses to keeping our drinks filled without us ever needing to ask. The food was outstanding! The carpaccio was the best we’ve had, and the gluten-free s’mores dessert was absolutely delicious—a perfect ending to the meal. “This is a grown up restaurant, the flavor is center stage and worth the price of admission. I tried things I went "I won't like that" and my mind was blown because I did like that. Best bread and butter I've ever had hands down. The duck breast was literally the best thing I've ever eaten in my life.This place has me considering staying single just so I can eat here more. And honestly, I only came here with my sister because she said this is the best restaurant. I can't translate the menu, but after this visit, the next time I come I'm just going to say to the waiter "I'm planning on spending this much, the chef already knows they know what they're doing". “We hosted our daughter’s first birthday at Portside Tavern, and it was truly the best experience from start to finish. The event space was spacious, clean, and perfect for a private celebration. Set-up was easy, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. A special shout-out to Caroline, who was wonderful to work with and made the entire process seamless and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and would highly recommend Portside Tavern for any private event. We’ll absolutely be back!“

“TRAFFORDS TESTIMONIAL Perhaps once in a lifetime you find someplace really special for you and your spouse. Seven years ago we went to Trafford’s for the first time. What we remember about it was how it made us feel. Both of us work hard in our professions and to go out to dinner and find wonderful food, excellent and attentive wait staff, and relaxed environment simply made our day. We then came every month at least once mostly twice to enjoy the excellence and serenity at Trafford. Sadly we lost this when the fire occurred for several years. Then absolute joy when Trafford’s reopened and we found the same wonderful food, wonderful staff in a simply beautiful rebuilt building. The joy we felt and the absolute calm and serenity is all back for us. Recently we celebrated my 76th birthday at Trafford with my entire family. It was amazingly special for me and we had our special event upstairs with the entire place devoted to us . Chrissy our server did an awe inspiring service for us making it perhaps one of the most special birthdays I have ever had I have attached a picture of this special moment. I work in the computer software business doing quality assurance 10 hours every day. Being able to calm down and relax completely at Trafford’s is simply a joy for us. “Last night, we walked towards The Aviary's entrance surrounded by beautiful flowers and lots of hydrangeas. Magical. The restaurant itself did not disappoint as it too was absolutely lovely. The wait staff was superb. Nice and efficient and they got every order perfectly. We were delighted. However, the food left a bad taste for sure. We were served room temperature brussel sprouts that were not cooked! Calamari was overcooked and rubbery. Pasta dish was floating in oil!! Total disappointment. Sadly, this beautiful restaurant has not earned our repeat business.“
