“Five stars for the delicious treats, beautiful breakfast croissants, and flavorful coffee. Five stars for the peaceful outside dining area, and the warm and inviting cafe on the inside. Five stars for the staff who is always so gracious and lovely, minus the one time I was taken aback by the disrespect and unprofessionalism of one of the members. I hope that due to the poor choice of this staff member, that the members’misbehavior doesn’t reflect upon the teams’ sweet and wholesome image.”

“Popped in here for the first time for the RI Food Fights ice cream event and decided to grab a couple slices for lunch because they looked great. We were not disappointed. Slices are large and you have your choice of pepperoni, cheese, buffalo chicken and chicken bacon ranch. The staff was great and the guy working gave our kid a key chain with their giraffe mascot. They have a huge variety on the menu including additional pizzas, calzones, apps, salads and pastas (gluten free pasta as well). They also have a huge selection of desserts. We tried the gelato which was also really good. Place was very clean and they used gloves for all service. Would highly recommend stopping here for a slice or even a full pie of you're local.”

“DoorDashed buffalo chicken calzone from here! All I can say is WORD! So delicious! The calzone crust is incredibly soft and crunchy! Get yourself extra blue Cheese dressing and a stick or three of celery, this is medium to almost spicy, perfect balance!
Unfortunately when I called to compliment on the food, the gentleman who answered was unable to understand what I was saying, (language barrier). Nevertheless I will be recommending and ordering again. Thank you!”

“Ordered from here multiple times - I find it the best pizza around. Usually just get take out - large cheese / pepperoni does the trick.

“I've been a customer since 1984! No pizza or grinder haven't compared to the great food I've enjoyed at Kingston Pizza! I've lived in 5 states and the pizza, hogies, po-boys, etc I've had in other states weren't as delicious as Kingston Pizza! “Very friendly staff, efficient and thoughtful, even when they are very busy. The newest favorite menu item for me is the chopped salad, with either chicken or tune. Assorted fresh veggies blended with lettuce and topped with either chicken or tuna, very tasty and satisfying. Thanks for being there!”

“Ram’s Den is my favorite dining hall! I love the burgers and fries there! The people are really nice. The bookstore is addicting and you don’t have to wait long in line to get your mail from the mailroom. Plus, it’s a great place to study, especially at night time when you don’t feel like walking all the way to the library.”

“I have been to many asian food restaurants as I traveled in Asia and especially China, Jayd Bun is by far one of the best asian food experiences I have had over the years. The food was absolutely amazing. The flavors combined with spices and the noodles were incredible. So if you enjoy a spicy asian food, Jayd Bun is the place to get it. It’s a take out order but taking advantage of the suggestions of getting this takeout food to a few local places where you can drink and enjoy Jayd Bun food. Our favorite food were the Yo Po, Jayd Noodles and of course the buns.”

I've seen the photos, heard the stories, and listened to people debate one question over and over again... "Is it REALLY worth $145 per person?" 👀 Well, after finally making the trip out to Charlestown to experience it for myself (15yrs ago was my last visit), I can officially answer that question. Absolutely. ☝🏾❤️ The moment I pulled onto the property, I knew this wasn't your typical restaurant. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, the atmosphere was incredible, and there was an excitement in the air that immediately made the place feel more like a destination than simply somewhere to eat. Before I even walked through the front door, I was welcomed by Owen, who gave me a ride from the overflow parking lot to the entrance in a golf cart. It may seem like a small thing, but it was the first example of the hospitality I experienced throughout the evening. Much love Owen ☝🏾❤️ Once inside, I met Jake and Kory, fourth-generation family members whose great-grandparents started The Nordic back in 1963. Hearing a little of the history behind the restaurant only added to the experience. As I explored the property, it became clear why this place has earned such a legendary reputation throughout New England. The dining rooms were packed, the buffet stations stayed busy, and everywhere I looked people were carrying plates loaded with lobster, crab legs, prime rib, seafood, desserts, and just about everything else you could imagine. I was also fortunate to meet Kat, who many of you specifically told me to look for during my visit, along with several other staff members throughout the evening. I even had the opportunity to meet numerous B.A.R.R. fans who stopped by to say hello, introduce themselves, and share their experiences at The Nordic. Those interactions helped make an already memorable evening even more enjoyable. But y'all already know... A beautiful atmosphere and friendly people only gets you halfway there. 🤷🏾‍♂️😀 The food STILL has to raise the B.A.R.R. 😏🔥 So here's how a Brotha attacked it... 1️⃣ Plate #1 - First Station 💣 THE BOMB I started with the seafood station, loaded with lobster, snow crab legs, and cornbread. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you'd hope for from one of the most talked-about seafood destinations in New England. It was the perfect way to start the evening. 2️⃣ Plate #2 - Second Station 💣 THE BOMB My second plate came from another seafood station and featured a variety of offerings including pork ribs, stuffed shrimp, clams, conch salad, and several other items. Once again, the quality remained impressive across the board. Fresh ingredients, great flavor, and plenty of variety. At this point I was beginning to understand why people travel from all over New England to eat here. 3️⃣ Plate #3 - Third Station 💣 THE BOMB The third station featured many of the specialty items, including prime rib, filet mignon, fried shrimp, and sea scallops. Yooooo B.A.R.R. fans... This station was outstanding. 🥰🔥 The prime rib was tender, flavorful, and cooked beautifully. The filet mignon was excellent, and the seafood continued to impress. By this point I was already getting full, but the quality never dropped off. Everything continued to deliver. 4️⃣ Dessert Station 🍰 DELICIOUS By the time I reached the dessert station, a Brotha was running out of available storage space. 😭🤣 After three full plates of food, a Brotha was definitely feeling it. 😭🤣 But somehow I still managed to find room for dessert. The dessert station offered a huge variety of sweet treats and was the perfect ending to an already incredible meal. 🏁 MY FINAL THOUGHTS: Let me Keep It Real B.A.R.R. fans... The Nordic isn't somewhere you're going every week. It's a destination. 📍❤️ It's the kind of place you visit for birthdays, anniversaries, ”

“Love The Sweet Spot! I have been bringing my grandson here since he was a toddler, now 5. He can’t wait for the Spring for them to open! “In the summer we frequent the tiki bar on the beach. In the winter we will go here regularly to relax at the upper bar and watch the boats go by. Great food, service and atmosphere. The upper bars gets a little loud when crowded but not bad.”
