“The piadina are amazing along with the homemade pasta and prepared items. The Portsmouth store is much easier to access than Middletown (parking) and the staff are great. I would give 5 stars if they were open til at least 5:30pm weeknights. It’s hard to get there by 5pm and I imagine they lose quite a bit of business from those of us wanting to grab dinner on the way home from work.”

“This place is a total vibe! It was recommended to us, as it was nearby where we were staying. We were not disappointed. I got the Mickey D and my husband got the Bacon Cheese burger and Chicago dog. We split an order of fries. It was PLENTY of food and we didn’t wait long at all.

It is a very trendy, millennial vibe that I LOVE. The furnishings, atmosphere, etc. were all great. Service was friendly and quick. Picnic tables outside if you want to sit outside to eat. We sat at the counter on the bar side to watch the traffic and people go by.

Several beer, seltzer, and wine options, as well as pop. Plus the bar side is open so you can order drinks there also.

Loved the little mini art vending machine! Never seen that before. For $5, you can choose an artist/art work or do a mystery vend. I went with mystery and got a floral pin that I will be putting on a bag soon.

Our table number was written on a plastic dinosaur — are you kidding me? That was so funny and unique!

“Great experience at Custom House Coffee! My girlfriend sent me on a mission to grab some blueberry coffee and blueberry scones, and she absolutely loved them! The place was pretty busy, but they have a sign that says “Long line moves fast,” and they weren't kidding! The line moved surprisingly quickly, and everything went smoothly. Great atmosphere, efficient service, and some really good blueberry treats. Definitely a cool local coffee spot worth checking out!”

Like probably the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had and all the vegetables were very fresh. I did not ask about cross-contamination so I can’t speak to that, but the pizza itself was delicious and I love that they have gluten free options. PS - my husband ordered the 20 inch and just FYI, it’s HUGE! Also delicious (or so he said).”

“The Power of Juice is an incredible place. They have many magical juices that can make you feel better instantly. They have essential oils that help with sinuses and also have a magical soda water that can help with headaches/migraines and much much more!The staff at Power of Juice is incredible, I have been in a few times now not feeling well at all and each staff member always took the time to recommend something to help with how I was feeling and I never felt rushed, one of which days was Christmas Eve the store was slammed and the staff member didn’t let that get in the way from taking me over to show me a new essential oil they just got in to help with my massive sinus headache. Power of juice is now my go to place for a pick me up juice or if I need something for when I’m not feeling well, I now try this before taking over the counter medicine.”

“On a recent trip to Middletown, Rhode Island, my family made a return visit to the Coddington Brewery. We’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable seating and a nice bar area. Pictured is the Turkey Platter which has all the flavors of a home Thanksgiving meal. Also pictured is the Roast Beef Club; delicious! Any of the burgers and sandwiches would be a good choice and there are more formal type dinners offered. It being a brewery, there is always a nice selection of beer. Try this place; you’ll like it and want to go back.”

“So so good! It’s a must go if you are anywhere in the area. We were heading out of Newport after a walk at the cliffs, and the sign caught our eye. Every sandwich we had was fresh and amazingly good! Fun, unique, and creative sandwiches, plus plenty of tried and true traditional sandwiches for those picky eaters. Staff was helpful and so pleasant. We can’t say enough good things. Just go, you won’t be disappointed!”

Our hibachi chef, Stephen, was so awesome with both of the girls and even though our little one is super shy she ended up finding a bestie in Stephen. Me and my family have ordered food from here for years and we were excited when we heard new owners were taking it over. Becky’s is such a treasure here - real smoky bbq in RI. We haven’t been able to try since the reopening until now and I’m happy to say our expectations for excellence were met. Beans were as great as always, pulled pork was flavorful and juicy, wings were awesome. We loved everything. Props to the new owners for keeping it alive. Andy”
