“Excellent pizza at an excellent price point. You'll want to order an extra pie. The crust is unlike any other I've had. Crispy and light, extremely edible. The sauce was ok. If I'm being honest, I've had better sauce, but nothing was particularly wrong with this one. Cheesed well, and we ordered pepperoni, and it was quality, slightly spicy pepperoni. We ordered one pizza and wished we had ordered two. It was so good. We couldn't stop eating it. It was addicting. I think it's that crispiness. We also ordered garlic bread, and it was tasty, but I would have appreciated it more crispy. It was a little soft. But it was still very good.

They have old arcade games inside which we played while waiting for our pizza. It's just a couple of passionate guys working, so it takes a while for your order, but it's well worth the wait. There's seating inside as well, if you want to eat in. Great service, friendly people who seem passionate about their craft. We're visiting from Philly and were really impressed by this place. It's a very unique pizza that should be appreciated. It's not a New York or Philly pizza, it's a Rhode Island pizza. My only regret is that we didn't order more!“

We aren’t a fan of the garlic crust and there’s been times they’ve missed our option of “no garlic crust” and they always fix it, quick and fast and without being rude. “We enjoyed having breakfast at this wonderful place while in Newport, RI. The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣“

“I think Longplex Kitchen is a real gem. Easy to get to, plenty of parking. Food is better than expected for a pub atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Probably one of the most underrated places if you're just looking to get a meal with no drama or pretentious air. I'm sure we'll walk in someday when they're slammed but my absolute favorite thing is the speed and convenience. Stroll in, seat yourself, drinks within minutes, entree within 20 minutes.“
