Het away from the tourists. Come to this place. The coffee, pastries and other fare at the Hearth are terrific, the efficient and friendly staff and the warm and casual ambiance make it an inviting place to meet up with friends -- or just by yourself.
This was the second time I've been to the Village Hearth since it got new owners in 2020. I think I need to start going more often! We had to park down the road a bit as there were lots of people already here on a Saturday morning. We only had to wait a few minutes to place our order and all the staff were friendly. Wonderful baked goods. The Asiago bagels, croissants, and fruit scones are my personal favorites, but there's lots of choice. Avocado toast is a real treat. Great breakfast and lunch sandwich selection. Excellent coffees. Plenty of indoor and outdoor (in season) seating, except perhaps during morning rush on a sunny summer weekend morning. Very charming atmosphere.
