“Went here for a quick date around 5–6 PM, right before the dinner rush. It was quiet and lowkey, service was nice, and everything came out pretty fast. We got a variety of food and drinks and everything was good to really good.

Nothing fancy or crazy, but I was pleasantly surprised since I hadn’t been to Chili’s in a long time. It was a nice, easy spot for a quick date and we had a good experience overall.

Only thing I wish is that there was a little more to do nearby afterward besides walking around Ocean State Job Lot 😂 but obviously that has nothing to do with Chili’s.“

“Today was me and my wife’s first time going to Olneyville New York System in Providence and we were both in awe while we were there and we kept talking about it how awesome it was after we left. Not only were the wieners excellent but the fries are some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta get the coffee milk to go with the wieners, it is delicious. Most importantly, I want to give a shoutout to the crew that was working today. You all made us feel so welcome along with being super nice and accommodating to us. All I can say is that we will be back not only for the excellent food but for the atmosphere itself. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you all again. Have a great day !“

“Had an amazing experience. The Whipped Ricotta app was light and delicious, and the Shaved Steak Sandwich was exactly what I was looking for. “Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

The only thing was when it costs $13 for a glass of wine, I'd like a good pour. The pours were a bit small. Service was excellent. Pricey but expected this, would definitely go back.“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“My daughter and I had our second lunch at Honeybird today. Hat's off to the chef and kitchen staff. The chicken sandwich was delicious and the Collard Greens are to die for. I spent 15 years living in the deep south (Charleston, SC) and the way these collards were prepared blew away anything I've eaten down there. Will be back again!“

“I visit Ivy Tavern everytime I come to Providence, RI. Excellent food and drink, but even more important, to me, are the friendly folks that run the tavern. Because they are always genuinely friendly, treating every customer with kindness, the regulars that frequent the tavern always seem to be more sociable than I normally see in most places. This is a hard to find quality, these days.“

The private room was beautiful and decorated so nicely, creating the perfect atmosphere for such a special celebration. After a wonderful meal, my husband paid the bill & we were getting ready to leave when the manager came to our table to ask what was wrong & if we were unhappy w/our server.....'No he was fantastic' we said. Oh! he said, because we didn't leave a tip he thought the waiter had messed up.... suffice it to say.... husband had THOUGHT he left the tip when he paid. Apparently he didn't!!! “My wife and I went for wedding anniversary, we made reservations. We had to wait about ten minutes to be seated. Our server Aldean, was excellent and prompt and very profession. To be honest, at first I was taken aback on how well he spoke, I suspect he is on the specturm. He is one of the impressive waiter my wife and I ever had. He was polite, cordial and even mixed some old english when speaking to us. We observed him with other guests and we can tell he enjoyed his job and did it well. Very impressed with his service. The food was excellent, we had mozzerra sticks for apps, and it was delicous, i had stuffed chicken and my wife had shrim scampi. All dishes were superb. Since it was our anniversary we got a complimentary dessert and we also had a cheesecake. Both were well made and delicous. We will both be going back to Old grist mill again and put it on our resturant rotation.“
