“Went on Halloween night shortly after 8pm with my wife. First time at this location, my honey chipotle crispers with Texas fries and broccoli was on point and my wife was pleased with the chipotle chicken rice bowl. Our only complaint was that Thursday night football wasn’t on the any of the tv’s, so we mentioned to staff and were told that they didn’t have the tv station. This was unacceptable, as we along with several others customers at the bar resorted to streaming the game on our cell phones while we ate. Please take this into consideration, and we will be back soon!

The only thing was when it costs $13 for a glass of wine, I'd like a good pour. The pours were a bit small. Service was excellent. Pricey but expected this, would definitely go back.“

“My husband and I were visiting Providence for a wedding and stayed at the Hampton across the street. This place caught our eye, and we are so thankful it did. Not only did we come here for lunch, where I got fettuccine with marinara and my husband got a Philly Cheesesteak, we ordered 2 pizzas later that night when our friends showed up because we loved them so much. The in-person service was immaculate, and the takeout service was amazing. Super polite employees and a great atmosphere. I'm almost sad I don't live in Providence because I can't eat here more often.“

“We went for dinner for a weeknight in early September. Reservations were available on short notice and missed the college parent crowds. First time here after hearing about it for a number of years.

We shared a couple of appetizers and really enjoyed the cheese/charcuterie board and calamari. Calamari was crispy and sauces were delicate. Cheese board was also delicious and we liked that we could mix and match. Not many places offer pate, so we enjoyed having that as an option.

The gnudi dish was the best of the evening. They’re something between a small dumpling and gnocchi, and were so incredibly tender! Sauce was very delicious and we highly recommend trying this dish.

Entrees were okay, but not amazing. They’re known for their burger but I found it lackluster. Saddest part was the French fries were soft and tasteless. Burger meat was drier than it should be; likely too much fat rendered off during cooking. Bun had no integrity and didn’t hold up to the burger.

Pork loin was good, but serving size was extremely small for an entree. There were only 3 slices of pork on the dish.

Desserts were simple and well-executed, but not a highlight.

Atmosphere can be very nice if not too loud. Great place for a date, grabbing light fare, or having a drink at the bar.“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

We were running ahead of schedule so called to see if they could take us early and they were SO accommodating! Also, I had mentioned (very much in passing) when I made the rez that it was my dad’s bday. I definitely didn’t make a big deal about it. And shortly after we sat down, our server (maybe she was the manager/owner?) brought over 2 glasses of Prosecco and wished him a happy birthday!!! What an amazing and thoughtful touch! The food was amazing as usual (I love nicks!) and when asked, our server knew where all the ingredients came from (almost all local!) and even turned me on to a new delicious tequila (also from a local family!). “Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

The hostess after asking a couple of questions and getting a sense of what type of dining experience we were looking for, asked us to follow her up to the second floor and there it was—the most perfect seat in the restaurant. A corner couch seat overlooking the city❤️. Our waiter, Logan, was beyond excellent. Knowledgeable about the menu-both food and drink. Attentive but not obnoxious. We elected to order several appetizers after devouring the warm, crusty mini French bread served in individual paper bags—so French. He said he would take care of both the timing and sequencing of the plates, and that he did!! Each time a new pair of appetizers came out, he would change out plates and utensils. Amazing attention to detail and our dining nuances. Now for the food-calamari tender and light with a perfect sauce to go with them. Lobster tempura to die for-a definite must!! Crab Rangoon perfection-a creamy blend of cream cheese and spices. The Scotch egg was a savory treat that you simply cannot find in many restaurants-excellent! And the last appetizer was their lamb chops-tender, juicy and grilled to perfection. For desert we asked our waiter for his recommendation-a tart with blueberry basil ice cream and streusel crumb toping was agreed upon. Simply divine. In conclusion, if you want to dine at a restaurant that has phenomenal service and exceptional food, this is the place to go to⭐️“
