“I’ve always loved Blackie’s as a restaurant, but hosting my husband’s surprise 60th birthday party there made me appreciate it even more. Everything about the event was absolutely wonderful. The private room was beautiful and decorated so nicely, creating the perfect atmosphere for such a special celebration. It was the perfect mingling space where everyone could comfortably move around, socialize, and enjoy the party together. The food was delicious with beautiful presentation, and there was more than enough for everyone. Our guests kept commenting on how great everything was. The staff was attentive, professional, and helped make the entire event feel seamless and stress free. I highly recommend Blackie’s not only for dinner, but also for special events and celebrations. This time they teamed up with Ember To Ash Lounge for a fabulous evening featuring premium cigars from Oliva Cigar Co. and a decadent five-course dinner with wine pairings with a fabulous jazz band for entertainment. We kicked things off with a refreshing lobster & shrimp ceviche, followed by a savory filet crostini and crisp summer salad. Next came the star of the night—pillowy homemade ravioli—before finishing with an impressive mixed grill served in a truly generous portion! A huge thank you to Ariana, Shay, Megan, and the entire team for crafting such a memorable and delicious experience.“

“We enjoyed everything! Reasonable prices. Fresh sushi. Delicious basics such as miso soup and rice. Tempura not overly greasy. Nice and crispy. Katsu delicious. Red snapper was fresh. Alcoholic drinks give a lot for the price. The creamy orange salad dressing was delicious. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Dessert was great too. Good portion just enough to finish off a nice dinner. We left full and satisfied not overly stuffed .. For all of this food it came to a little bit over a hundred for 3 people.( appetizer, entrees, cocktails, sushi, dessert)
Keep in mind for the chicken teriyaki. Dont expect chinese style filet on a stick . Its more like kebab style w square glazed chicken and veggies on 2 sticks( see photo) small for price in my opinion. Good flavor though!“

“Ok. They have great margaritas, especially the tamarind one. Their staff needs better training however. Like bringing water and coming back to table after serving to check if anything else needed. Food reasonably good (a 4), but not great. Barbados burrito (huge) and pork tacos this time. Liked shrimp appetizer in past.“

“This is my favorite bakery in RI. I go there from Providence even though there are plenty of bakeries here. This location has excellent espresso, good pizza, excellent cannolis and the best prosciutto sandwich I’ve ever had. The prices are very fair.“
