“Had a hard time finding a parking spot so thought the restaurant might be busy, but no worries as we were seated promptly at the time reserved at the high top requested. Linguini and clams still one of the best, loaded with clams in their shells, but served without a twirling spoon for the linguini. Server had to supply upon request from diner. I tried the evening special of halibut and was able to substitute my favorite mashed sweet potato as well as a vegetable (yummy sauteed spinach). Halibut a tad dry but server brought a wedge of lemon upon my request and that helped add some moistness. Finished off with decaf cappuccinnos.“

“I held a rehearsal dinner at Maria’s and I cannot say enough how great it was to plan with the help of Chris Spertini. He made the whole evening a success by guiding me with food choices and seating arrangement. Our server was excellent. She was extremely attentive to our guests. This will be my go-to restaurant. If you have not dined at Maria’s you are missing out.“

“What a lovely small establishment. The food is more of a seafood based menu but still all wonderful. The lamb burger was excellent and so tasty. Service was excellent and extremely friendly. This restaurant is definitely worth going to and you will not be disappointed.“

“Excellent server, Nathaniel, food just right. We split crab/ lobster cakes, fillet, mushrooms, Caesar salad and baked potato. Every dish was delicious Beautiful long stemmed roses as a parting gift made my day special. Capital Grill delivers!“
“It is a cute place to have some small plates and a glass of wine. But it is not a place for a quick meal because the wait for food was very very long. The food was interesting and delicious. I like that when you walk in the server explained what food they're serving and ask if it is okay or if it is what you are looking for. They don't really cook there more like assembling canned fish and other ingredients together and present it nicely. You can see in the photo the presentation was lovely. Also remember to ask for more bread if you are three or more people, a few little slices will not be enough for three adults. The stools were not comfortable if you have back problem needs support. But the cold color goes well with the decor.“
“We attended a Maison Ferrand cognac seminar & tasting the other night at Sapphire & it was such a fun & unique experience for us. The staff at Sapphire (Melissa, Marc, & Shiv), as well as the guest bartender (Vannaluck), went above & beyond to make the experience interactive & memorable. We were greeted immediately with a French 75 made with cognac - Did you know that the original French 75 called for cognac, as well as many other classic cocktails? No? Neither did I. The welcome aperitif was a great lil' treat to kick the night off with. We were given a mini charcuterie selection to keep us busy until the main event, which began about 20 minutes after we arrived. Vannaluck talked us through the history & characteristics of cognac. We were given 3 small pours of different cognacs to taste as well as a serendipitous, bonus mini pour at the end. Throughout the night, the kitchen sent out a variety of tapas that UTILIZED COGNAC. Cognac glaze, reduction, brine, etc. Fascinating! I went in knowing next to nothing about cognac & left with a decent understanding of the spirit. I've always wanted to do something like this, & Sapphire made it extremely accessible. It was also amazingly affordable. I'm really looking forward to more events like this one. Sign me up, please.“

“We went here Easter Day, everywhere else was full(which we expected). We found this place walking to a crosswalk by chance. We were welcomed in. Myself and my son got french toast, my girlfriend got eggs Benedict. When it came out I had a chuckle cause I was not expecting half a loaf of bread. But omg it was so good and light. My girlfriend couldn't stop eating her Benedict although she was full. My son enjoyed his also. The drinks the adults ordered was fantastic and mixed well. My son got chocolate milk. We paid 15$ a plate for the french toast, 22$ for the Benedict and around 12$ for the drinks not the milk though. You get your money's worth. A small place but absolutely worth it. Look at the pics it says it all.“

“I almost didn't come here because I saw a review saying the food was bland. I'm so glad I came anywags, I got Chicken Parmesan with Pink Vodka sauce and Linguine, it was AMAZING! The portions were massive and I got about two whole breasts worth of chicken and the sauce was so so yummy, I had about 2/3 of my meal as leftovers. I'm definitely coming back here!“

“Service was exquisite. My wife and I felt like Royalty. The staff and the Manager on duty made our 10th Anniversary feel like we were dining at a royal palace. I can’t say enough but we want to extend our deepest thanks for making our celebration of our life together as memorable as they did.“

“First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants. The service is excellent, and the food never disappoints. We visited last on Monther's Day. As expected, the restaurant was packed. In spite of that, we were seated on time, and never waited long for anything. We were all very pleased with our meals including the deserts that were exemplary. I am looking forward to our next visit.“
