“Ordered takeout from Wise Guys on Douglas Pike in Smithfield. We were greeted by a sassy and friendly Holly when picking up. The order was ready 10 minutes early and was piping hot. We had a NY Sytle half ham & half pepperoni, a Sicilian cheese, and a huge personal Knucky Thompson with Blue Cheese. Great sauce and crust. Glad we finally tried this place out and loved the customer service!!“

This time they teamed up with Ember To Ash Lounge for a fabulous evening featuring premium cigars from Oliva Cigar Co. and a decadent five-course dinner with wine pairings with a fabulous jazz band for entertainment. We kicked things off with a refreshing lobster & shrimp ceviche, followed by a savory filet crostini and crisp summer salad. Next came the star of the night—pillowy homemade ravioli—before finishing with an impressive mixed grill served in a truly generous portion! Our server, Amanda was very personable, helpful and kind. Having a corner booth allowed us the ability to talk to each other without any issues and enjoy the evening. “One of my favorite restaurants on “The Hill”. The dining experience at Massimo is always a 5 star experience. Yesterday afternoon we had Janelle as our server and she was superb- it made it a 5 star PLUS visit. Blood orange Cosmos, eggplant appetizer, chicken parm, pistachio cannoli, tiramisu- all excellent. Highly recommend“

“I have numerous food allergies, making going out to eat an anxiety filled experience for me. We found Cassarino's while looking for a safe place to eat while in Providence. I've struggled with finding an Italian restaurant I'm comfortable eating at for years! Our server, Morgan, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe while eating here! I would happily take the 45 minute drive down here to eat again.“

“Great atmosphere! And Christine our server was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. She checked on us consistently- thanks! I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! “The part of me that wants everyone to feel what it's like eat at your nonna's house where they think you are the greatest thing that ever happened, triumphed over the part of me that wants to keep this place a secret so there isn't a line out the door every day. Giovanna clearly knew what she thought each of us should eat but tried hard to not let it show "but, eat what you want...." She was excited in the way only a Napolitana can be when we chose her recommendations, osso bucco for Mike and lobster raviolo for me. It was amazing food wrapped in a childhood memory.“

“This was an amazing location for a chill romantic dinner. My wife and I were amazed from the first bite of bread. We split apps, trying the beef mofonguitos and the Spruce roll. Even though I dont like sushi, I liked the roll, and the mofonguitos were incredibly well seasoned, and the plantain cups were delicious.

Then our entrees arrived, and we were amazed all over again. I went with the Churrasco Dominican, an incredibly well seasoned steak, with asparagus that almost melted in my mouth. My wife went more Italian, getting the gnocchi, and the combination was delicious.

Fortunately, we left room for dessert, because the cheesecake was velvety in a way that I dont think I have ever had in a cheesecake before (and I have had quite a few).

I already want to go back, and I can absolutely see us going back for their brunch or for their rush hour special on Thursdays. And the staff were super friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Alysia, was super kind and helpful, and I genuinely hope to have her as our waitress again in the future.

TLDR: I'd go every day if I could afford to. That was probably one of the top 10 meals I've had in my life, and I can't wait to go back.“

“Our family-owned restaurant was a treat!

We devoured so much food, and everything was absolutely delicious. The main course (which I didn’t get to photograph) was generously portioned. The appetizers were also fantastic, and the desserts were a sweet finish. The oysters, which I had for the first time, were huge and incredibly good. I highly recommend it, whether you’re dining with family, friends, or on a date, if you’re a fan of authentic Italian cuisine.“

“Trattoria Romana in Johnston now serves Sunday brunch beginning at 10am! Fantastic menu, fantastic service, beautiful restaurant! My bestie and I enjoyed a girl's brunch. Chicken and waffles and Corner Beef Hash and eggs! Very yummy! The fry on the chicken was light yet crispy. The chicken was so tender it fell apart. The menu has all your brunch favorites like blueberry pancakes and Benedicts. There is also a full brunch bar offering Mimosa flights and espresso martini flights! Go check them out before the secret is out and you can't get a reservation!“

They have a full menu of items to choose including items you don't typically find elsewhere. Another great perk is their authentic Italian bread served with every meal, and it's sourced from a local bakery in Providence. It's family atmosphere does not disappoint and they have a full bar as well. Seating is first come first served. Can be loud at times but they have many private booths. You can also purchase their sauce and soups by the quart.“

“Gia Ristorante Italiano Hubby & I had an amazing dinner last night at Gia's in Uxbridge! It was a last minute decision to go there, but so glad we did. It was a quiet night, cold outside, but inside they had a beautiful fire roaring, smelled so good. We both had amazing meals, waitress was very helpful, answering all our questions. They even made a few changes to a dish so my husband got exactly what he wanted. We will definitely be going there again soon! Highly recommend them for a nice Italian dinner 😋“
