“Ordered takeout from Wise Guys on Douglas Pike in Smithfield. We were greeted by a sassy and friendly Holly when picking up. The order was ready 10 minutes early and was piping hot. We had a NY Sytle half ham & half pepperoni, a Sicilian cheese, and a huge personal Knucky Thompson with Blue Cheese. Great sauce and crust. Glad we finally tried this place out and loved the customer service!!“

“I had the filet mignon with a creamy mushroom type gravy atop...apologies for not having the proper name. It was delicious. I was in the mood for a good steak and this is where I found it. I also tried the eggplant appetizer. I would call it a rollatini. A fried piece rolled up with ricotta cheese inside topped with marinara. Chefs kiss. Great meal, expensive, but worth it. Outstanding service as well.“

This time they teamed up with Ember To Ash Lounge for a fabulous evening featuring premium cigars from Oliva Cigar Co. and a decadent five-course dinner with wine pairings with a fabulous jazz band for entertainment. We kicked things off with a refreshing lobster & shrimp ceviche, followed by a savory filet crostini and crisp summer salad. Next came the star of the night—pillowy homemade ravioli—before finishing with an impressive mixed grill served in a truly generous portion! A huge thank you to Ariana, Shay, Megan, and the entire team for crafting such a memorable and delicious experience.“

“I held a rehearsal dinner at Maria’s and I cannot say enough how great it was to plan with the help of Chris Spertini. He made the whole evening a success by guiding me with food choices and seating arrangement. Our server was excellent. She was extremely attentive to our guests. This will be my go-to restaurant. If you have not dined at Maria’s you are missing out.“

I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! “What do I recommend….Absolutely everything ! This is the Italian restaurant experience everyone should have. You’re treated like family. The food is absolutely delicious. Every dish that came to our table looked and tasted like the main ingredient is love. If you are fortunate enough to go when Mama’s stuffed squash flowers are on the specials menu, you better try them. Isabella our waitress was absolutely amazing. “We stumbled across this place tonight without realizing it was entirely Vegan. We're not Vegan ourselves, but our daughter is, so we eat a lot of Vegan cuisine. I ordered a zucchini "steak" dish that sounded unique, and my hubby got the country "chicken." Both were extraordinary - the best meal either of us has had since we moved to RI (and we've had some great meals). The food was honestly bursting with flavor, and the quantity was just right. The service was perfect, too, attentive without being intrusive. We debated getting dessert, since the dinner flavor left such a satisfying taste behind, but we couldn't resist the gluten-free chocolate brownie. It came with raspberries on top and a trickle of raspberry sauce, in a combination that was again perfect - crispy edges, a gooey center, sweet and rich but not too much so, with the raspberry flavor offsetting the chocolate in a way I've never tasted in my entire not-particularly-young life. It was so, so good, and to my surprise, it blended well with the dinner flavors. I've been sitting here all evening enjoying the last remnants of the taste, reluctant to go brush my teeth, and I thought I should take a moment to leave a review on the various sites. We will absolutely be return customers, and we can't recommend this restaurant enough!“

“We have been coming to this restaurant for almost 20 years, the change in ownership has not missed a beat with the food quality and home like atmosphere. Food is fresh to order and you won't be disappointed.

Only feedback for the restaurant is to bring back some of the staples on the menu; Lasagna, ravioli, etc. And be considerate of the music volume for guests who are sitting right under the speaker, could barely hear my mother in law across the table from me, we always loved the classic Italian music subtly playing int he background for ambiance.“

“Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had, in or outside of a restaurant. I had one of the specials, a Portuguese-style steak, which was cooked perfectly medium-rare. “Went with friends on Friday. They take reservations so no real waiting maybe 10 minutes. Everything ordered was delicious and portions were huge. Plenty left to take home and prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was super attentive. The menu had items that have not seen on other restaurant menus. Nice to see. Got to eat something different. Also have Specials. We go out to eat a lot as a group and will definitely be back. Live right down the road and didn’t even know they were there. Learned about them from someone else. Glad we did. Also perfect place for delicious Italian take out at good prices. Even have extra parking and entrance in back. Can’t wait till next time to try something different.“

“Gia Ristorante Italiano Hubby & I had an amazing dinner last night at Gia's in Uxbridge! It was a last minute decision to go there, but so glad we did. It was a quiet night, cold outside, but inside they had a beautiful fire roaring, smelled so good. We both had amazing meals, waitress was very helpful, answering all our questions. Anthony has a great friendly staff and Anna's offers a clean contemporary interior. I've been here four times I've never been anything less than happy. I've had three styles of his pizza everyone was totally delicious and I've had four of his desserts they were all outstanding you.“

“We went on a Sunday at 5p. The restaurant had a few dining parties, but not full. The atmosphere was very nice; a bit upscale, but not formal. It was not loud so you could hear the conversation at the table. The service was friendly and attentive, but not rushed. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with a shared appetizer of Fig and Prosciutto Flatbread which everyone enjoyed. I had the Lobster Ravioli which is what I get when it is available, so I have had this dish in a number of different restaurants. Pat's was the best that I have had. The restaurant has limited hours of operation, so I highly recommend making reservations so that you are sure to be seated. It is well worth it! Abbondanza!“
