Our hosts were warm and friendly and apologized for not being able to serve us at a table inside due the pandemic. I honestly can’t wait for life to return to normal so I can return to this gem of a restaurant for the whole experience (including Sangria). “We really enjoyed dinner outside by the river. The ceviche was as fresh and perfectly balanced as any we’ve had anywhere. Portions are huge! Grilled seafood was perfect and paella great as well- rice not too dry like some. Enjoyed it a lot.“

“A wonderful place with exceptional friendly service . The puff cakes are a dream . I ordered mine with fresh fruit . We also ordered the scrambled eggs. Light and fluffy it was delicious . The only thing we did relay to the staff ? It is served in a small cast iron pan and I immediately noticed a strong fishy taste in the eggs . Waitress told us they cook the lobster Mac in said pan . This could be a huge problem for the restaurant as some people are allergic to shellfish and could have a bad reaction to the scrambled eggs . We definitely will be back !“

“Went on Monday in the pouring rain after a day of shopping at Wrentham. What a cozy atmosphere, small but so comfortable. Then the waiter came over quickly and was attentive throughout the meal without being intrusive. Our food included Breaded Palomilla Steak, Enchilada de Camarones, and Ropa Vieja. Loved the congris (rice with garlic and black beans) and plantains both salty and sweet. The flan, shared for dessert was the just right ending. I wish we lived closer because we would be there often!“

“I was visiting from out of state (Texas) and was trying to find something that would remind me of home. I'm glad this place was just a minute walk from where I stayed. The guy behind the counter was very pleasant and he helped me so much with my order. I ordered some banh mi. He was also great to talk to. The atmosphere was darkly lit, so it felt good on my eyes. And the menu was huge! Check this place out if you're ever stopping by this area.“

“One of my favorite restaurants on “The Hill”. The dining experience at Massimo is always a 5 star experience. Yesterday afternoon we had Janelle as our server and she was superb- it made it a 5 star PLUS visit. Blood orange Cosmos, eggplant appetizer, chicken parm, pistachio cannoli, tiramisu- all excellent.
