Don't miss Central Falls' top Mexican restaurants, as recommended by Restaurantji.
“All I have to say is Chipotle, where? I had a chicken burrito and it was sooooo flavorful. Every bite had chicken. The rice was hot and delicious. The server accommodating and friendly. Washed everything down with a very cold beer. Delightful spot.Vegetarian options: Husband got a vegetarian burrito and he was impressed.“
“We kept driving by El Paso and my kids for some reason always wanted to come here. Am I glad we finally did! Place is a hidden gem in central falls. Walking in they had only Spanish shows on the TVs and were playing Spanish music. I knew this place was the real deal. We ordered taquitos as an app which was played perfectly with white sauce and topped with shredded lettuce and tomatoes. Delicious. I ordered an quesa taco which was a taco that was overflowing with cheese and chicken. I also ordered their popular dish the birria which is a taco with shredded beef.Anything that came in a shell was grilled which made it nice and crispy. That is what made El Paso stand out from other restaurants. Not to mention, everything was delicious. We also ended up ordering a Nutella crepe with bananas and strawberries which we ate in seconds. We will be back again and again.“
“I went here with my friends after climbing and literally hits the top 3 burritos I have ever had (I think the best tbh). The tortillas are handmade on site and seared which adds a nice crunchy texture. The cheese was so good because it had an amazing pull and bite like a cheese pizza. I don't remember the rest because I was in heaven. To keep this from being too long, the food and the owners are amazing. I'm definitely coming back!“
“I showed up wanting to buy a gift but didn’t really know what. I was given a few options with different prices. I felt that they took the time to give me something beautiful that was within my budget. I have to say my expectations were beyond met. Very thankful and hope great things for this business.“
“Visited La Sorpresa today for baked goods and a plate for lunch, cafeteria-syulr. Baked goods were fresh. I loved the churros. The plate I ordered had white rice and beans, chicharrones, and I added a sausage on the side. Very filling. They do update the menu frequently. Staff doesn't really speak English, but they were fast and prompt. Although there is a lot of seating in the bakery, La Sorpresa to me feels more like a grab and go spot, especially when it is located on a busy main street. I'd definitely go back for another quick bite!“
“I was born and raised in LA, and have struggled to find Mexican food that reminds me of home. Tuxpan is a slice of home, and is the best Mexican food I've had in Rhode Island. I am a Mexican food snob, so trust me!! The staff and owners are down to earth. They make their own tortillas, and it really adds to the homey feel of the place. I hope the intimate experience of the CF location is maintained even as they inevitably (and so well-deservedly) grow and thrive!“
