“Get the Turkish coffee!!!!! You won't be disappointed. The owner is fun, friendly and will make you love this place. The baklava was amazing as was the pistachio ice cream. But the pistachio Turkish coffee .... well that is where it is at!!! Cute outdoor patio too. Enjoy!“

“To echo previous posts, I cannot recommend this spot highly enough. Stopped by for a late lunch, highly recommend their margherita pizza & mozzarella sticks, among other menu optionsAnd the staff at the counter are really attentive and great, I will certainly stop by again next time I am around in Providence.“

“I've always heard great things about Pasta Beach in Providence. It was my first time going. Pretty cool atmosphere with outdoor seating. The drinks and service were good. They have a pretty good drink menu with plenty to pick from. Their craft beer list lacks. The appetizers were good but the entrees were just average, some people's meals we're below average. We heard they had some turnover in the kitchen so it could have been that. I'll try it again and see how it turns out.“

“My husband stops there after work most days and gets 2 slices and a soda for $6. He took me the other night and there is indoor outdoor seating, a great menu, and the service is excellent, very friendly and attentive. The pizza is thin crust the sauce is good And I'm picky. Highly recommend going!“

“We rented the upstairs room for a bridal shower and it was the absolute perfect space and experience! It is on the smaller side, fitting a max of 25 people, but that was perfect as we had a guest list of only 20. The booking process was easy and the food was delicious, but the service is what stole the show. We had one server, Maria, for the whole party and she was a rockstar. She was seemingly always there when we needed her, she was so sweet, and she made great menu recommendations. I highly recommend renting The District’s space if you have a small gathering - it was top notch!“

“The pizza is always good. Large plain cheese. Always. It's my favorite. Rating pizza places are like rating Walmarts. Except, this one is a Rhode Island classic. There are others in the state and this one you should put on your must try list. Some are better than others. It's really personal taste.
The pizza? My favorite. The sauce has a homemade flavor about it, a bit strong on the tomato paste flavor scale. The cheese has pronounced creamy goodness when hot out of the oven. And the crust? Firm, well toasted. It does not sag to greatly when fresh. This of course is the large. The small pizza a traditional 12 inch(?) round. To me, the small tastes different, so we always get the large. At times I'd swear I pick up flavors of poultry seasoning. Most likely there isn't any but, I enjoyed it the same.
Try the RI classic and continue on...“

“I hate writing restaurant reviews, but I want to show these guys some pizza solidarity. As a long time pizza cook, Hotline makes one of a handful of pies in the US that I’d actually pay money to eat.
Most of the one-star reviews here are from followers of a right wing website that attacks small businesses; if you read them carefully, it’s clear that none of these reviewers have ever even been to Rhode Island. The other complaints are about the old ordering system, which was weird but understandable for a tiny shop with crazy high demand.
Cheese, sauce, and crust are FLAWLESS. Their handling of traditional toppings shows a love of this beautiful medium we call pizza pie. Unconventional pies can be a red flag, but here they feel like playful variations on a strong foundation. The dudes, who seem like the owner and one or two others? Sweeties.“

“I grew up in this neighborhood- this building was Bell’s Diner in the late 60’s. It’s been many things since then.I tried the pizza for the first time - crust is relatively thin and cooked perfectly. The tomato sauce is very good - not salty or acidic. We had Tommy’s Pizza for many years and it closed a few years back. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood. Next time I’ll try a spinach pie or a steak sandwich.Since I’m Italian I don’t get mozzarella cheese on my pizza- I order it like bakery pizza (no cheese) then sprinkle some Romano or Parmesan cheese on top.Inside is simple, clean, and with a few tables & chairs.Tonight, my second time 30 May, I went back with a friend. I had chicken parmigiana with penne pasta. The sauce (gravy!) was perfect and the pasta was al dente. My friend got eggplant parmigiana & pasta. We both enjoyed our meals 5/5!“

“I order over the phone a majority of the time but even there the customer service shines. That being said, the food is worth 5 stars alone. I’ve yet to order something that wasn’t made exactly as I ordered and it’s ALWAYS delicious! It’s nice that this place has a variety in what they serve and the hours of operation make it EXTREMELY convenient! The only draw back is the parking. There is very little parking in front of the business however there’s a huge parking lot right across the street so it is manageable! I highly recommend trying the food if you’re near by or looking for a healthy alternative to fast food after midnight!“

“Pizza is always really great hood pizza one of the best ones around lot better than Olympics pizza on broad even the old Olympics when terry owned it can’t beat this spot the only other hood pizza that might got this one beat is brothers on broad st not to be confused with La brothers pizza on broad (nice try poppi lol) stick to the meat pies and chimis for fast hand food but I like both brothers and excellent pizza for hood pizzas I go back and forth brothers a lot more greasy in a good way and cheesy especially if the younger guys at brothers are cooking it but excellent pizza is little more better crust and ingredients just not as much cheese“

“Oh my goodness I cannot even give al Forno enough stars. A friend recommended this as we were going to be just one night in Providence. He suggested the corn pizza which sounded so an appetizing. However walking up to the restaurant we happen to meet one of the chefs, Phil. My boyfriend is a foodie and had some engaging conversation about what we should get. We totally took his recommendation of the corn pizza as well as the duck home feet. We did not have a reservation but the hostess suggested we grab a drink at one of the three bars and she would find us. I thought that was pretty special that she would just come find us and she did. We got a lovely table by a window. But while waiting for our table and having a drink I set my martini on the bench next to me a gentleman walked by brought a paper napkin and politely put it under my drink for me. It was actually Matt the manager who introduced himself and I was grateful. That was the beginning of the most amazing service and attention to detail. We felt like we were celebrities. We ordered the corn pizza and oh my goodness it was ridiculously good. The crispy thin crust with the most amazing sauce and fresh corn was an incredible marriage of flavors. We also had the duck cold feet which was served with a deck reduction and cherries. It was accompanied by a bit of mashed potatoes. Again mind-blowing! Matt checked on us the chef came out as he obviously recognized the order. And with some conversation you could see how much everyone including our server I apologize I don't remember his name maybe Ivan all loved what they did. I'm sorry I forgot to take pictures before I was halfway through everything but it is memorable in my mind and in my mouth.“

“Atmosphere was great. Waitstaff was pleasant but forgot to put in the rest of our order. She did however put two glasses of wine on her. Calamari was delicious but lacked on the amount of peppers and the portion was very small. Brussel sprouts were delicious and was a very large portion. Margarita pizza was delicious.“

“$22 for Large Cheese Pizza & Large French Fries. Cheese pizza very thin, reminds me of a New York City style pizza. French fries are crunchy. Amazing staff, small family run business.
Parking: Parking is a hit or miss. It’s never been “terrible” Worse case you have to park 12 car spaces up the hill, and walk to the door & back
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible, to enter there’s a big step down that first time entering I didn’t even notice. Now they have a sign watch your step.“

“This was a great, low key place to eat before a show at the PPAC. Food was pretty good, I had chicken pesto panini that was good. My only complaint is the front doors were kept open & people would stand right in the doorway to smoke so we were eating smoke 1/2 the time with our food.“

“Zesty Bites is every bite as good as they say. The quality of the food is amazing. I am Middle Eastern and having a good kabob place around the corner is nothing short of a miracle. The staff at Zesty Bites are warm, kind, and so hard working, and go out of their way to make your experience good. I've ordered the pizza, the rakakat, the zesty bites, hummus bowl, and tawook. Every single thing I've had has been fresh, authentic, and most importantly, DELICIOUS. Zesty Bites outclasses every other restaurant like it by far. You can't go wrong!! So happy they are in the neighborhood!!“
