“We had a great experience! The owner was so helpful with our food decisions and extraordinarily kind! The food was delicious and the vibes were very laid back - a great place to catch up with friends and try some new food. We had the jollof rice, puff puff, stew with the pounded yam, and ginger tea - all so tasty! And couldn’t ask for better service“

“What a wonderful birthday dinner we just had tonight, thanks to Deddeh's take-out. Hard to know what we liked best: the attieké with fish, the cassava leaves with rice, the fried plantains, or the fufu with beef sauce. All of which is to say: you won't go wrong with whatever you try!“

Abinchin Plateau African •
65 Bath St, Providence

“Abinchin Plateau brings something really unique to the Providence food scene. Ordered the vegetarian taushe and yam fufu, and went to pick up at 65 Bath St. This was my first time eating Nigerian food- or any type of west African food- and W O W. It was so flavorful and comforting! It’s the type of hearty soul food that you can’t stop picking at even after you’re full. The portion sizes are also pretty generous, so the food is super affordable when you figure you’ll probably get 2 meals out of it. I already know I’ll be a new regular customer, and you should be, too!“

“First time here . I live down the street and drive by often, I thought it was time to try. Walking in I notice how clean and well decorated it was. I was greeted by two young ladies behind the counter. They helped me with recommendations, let me tell you , the meat pies are 10/10 . It has a buttery flakey homemade crust filled with well seasoned beef. I also had the Ewa. That was delicious! I told the ladies I enjoy spicy food and that’s what they recommended. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.“
