“So I'm unsure about all of these negative reviews but I'm not very nitpicky until it comes to my food. I have a lot of food aversions and would rather starve than eat something brand new fresh out of the oven that was made not to my liking.... I just went into this location with my boyfriend and very rarely feel the need to leave a review but the young woman that just made my burrito forced me to write a positive review because it's the best chipotle burrito I've ever had in my 23 years of living. I order it as specifically as I'm able to and she took everything i said and made the same burrito I've ordered for the last 6 years and did the absolute best job I almost asked for her name to call the store and tell them about how great my experience was. I order a double wrapped Barbacoa burrito with (mostly white rice) with cheese and lettuce and sour cream on the side. I've often had to remind employees for my sour cream to get it, usually they clump the cheese in a way that i get only that in one or two bites, the barbacoa is usually the main and i get only bites of that when really I'm going to chipotle because i don't want sushi or to make my own rice so when i asked her for extra rice and said "i don't get a lot of stuff inside" she really heard me with that. The didn't add too much barbacoa and she spread it across the rice instead of putting my lettuce on the hot items and cheese on top of that she put the cheese sparingly across the top and spread a generous serving of lettuce and immediately made my sour cream then took my bf's order. She also took the first layer or torilla and ~mostly~ wrapped it and then took the second layer and wrapped that around the other tortilla to where I'm not getting ONLY torilla for the first and last 2-3 bites of my meal. I hope she sees this because she really made my night tonight while I watched all of the other employees leave her to checkout two different groups of guests giggling. Obviously I don't know if there's any special reasoning behind it but with my almost decade of food+ bev service I'd say they were well over staffed with at least 9 employees in my sights and a total of 5 guests that I witnessed for her to have made all 5 items for our two parties she killed it. She was kind professional and very efficient!!“
“The place wasn’t busy, so my burrito dude was on his own… but he was about to impress me. I discovered Chipotle was the closest thing to Carne Asada I missed when I left San Diego. This place was in a great funky building a block from campus and they were amazingly trained, all very diverse, and attracted a real cool mix of clientele. I’ve been to em for years, usually with identical results. Then I moved to Vermont and lost civilization but post covid discovered a Chipotle but it was so not people wise the same, and the food somehow didn’t seem quite the same.So back to this prince: he did the “shtick” of questions perfectly, with a charming ad lib thrown in just like the first time. Ahhh. So he ended up helping again because I decided to stay - he could have seen me as high maintenance, but you’d never know it, He restored my faith in that system. So I saw some other staff and I said I just had a amazing Chipotle something and wanted to let his boss see his name in the review. They said of course- who was it - they looked at each other and grinned like they knew something…The woman said, yeah he’s really great, that’s Brandon. still grinning. I was like what. He’s the manager. I said well, he … they interrupted THE GENERAL they half whispered. Now I know why he put together the best burrito I have had for quite a while. And clearly the staff have that love their leader.The best Chipotle team/food basically. And Brandon was charming. Next time I’m in town, he’ll have to deal with me again. lol. Highly highly recommendParking: I am from out of town and was lucky to find street parking opening close by. Know nothing about garages but imagine they must exist -/ it was night but its a VERY dense storefront eating and drinking area in the block I was along. Wish I could say more.“
