“I liked the food variety they had. The service was polite and professional. I had the goat stew and the meat was juicy and it practically melted from being so tender. They gave me a good portion of avocados green boiled bananas and yautia. They also have a great variety of fresh juices. It's a small shop but very clean and tidy!“

“I heard some amazing things about the Mofongo and that MF delivered!! It was like I took a dive into a passionate bliss with rich flavors and boldness to my tongue. I wanted to take 5mins with each bite and take in the full experience. I felt like I was on tropic vacation. Que viva la Isla!! Phenomenal! Think I found my future wife here lol .. hopefully there's room in the family (wink). They portion size is large and prices are more than fair ..kinda feel like they should be more but clearly ownership knows what they are doing. I'm looking forward another trip there. Btw the Jamaican patties are LITTY!!! Flakey crust and spicy meat. It's great supporting small businesses but it's great when are truly AMAZING too.“

“It's so standard, it's supposed to be a small restaurant but it doesn't feel that way. The chicken is good, it seems they always run out of batata (sweet potatoes). And their system is so old fashion they have a notebook where they write everything. For special holidays is chaos because of the ordering system, a notebook usually sell more then what they have.“

“It's a true Domenican Style restaurant. Cafeteria style. Absolutely fantastic food here. I eat here at least three times a month if you don't speak Spanish don't worry, they speak enough English lol..if you live or work near here, go eat here; your stomach will love you for it!

“I ordered a chicken in cream with winks at the end ?? oh new owners and they cook very well! the food was take away and everything apart. I'm a sucker for eating, but oh, I ate well. The employees are also very friendly and professional. I couldn't take a photo of it. But soon I want to approve the fish that they told me is the end.“

“ALMOST as good as Pito's 1 on the Southside. Don't eat Mexican... Dominican stewed beef with the carrots over seasoned rice and beans! With plenty left over for lunchtime tomorrow. Don't forget to order "chinola" jugo to drink the local Dominican word passion fruit.“

“I love this spot! I have been coming here for years. I feel out of all the Dominican restaurants they don’t pick and choose prices every time you go. They have good prices for the food and the food is always fresh. Don’t get me started with the portions. My mom and I can eat off one plate but we like different meats sometimes so I usually buy two plates. The owner and staff are always so welcoming and treat their customers with kindness. I never had an issue with them and I send blessings they keep going for many years to come.“

“Very good meseras pero deben de tener otro métodos de servir or cojer ordenes en vez de tener una linia larga por ejemplo si son familia porque acer una linia demas deben de tener una lista y dársela alas asistentes a lo q lo demás esperan centados !
