“I decided to treat myself and come on a little solo vacation. This is such an accommodating warm spot. Evan and the whole staff treated me with such kindness as I was dining by myself in the busy summer season the mussels were amazing ! The lobster bisque is not to be missed and the local Winery three thieves was delicious. I recommend this place highly !“

“We enjoyed having breakfast at this wonderful place while in Newport, RI. The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣“

“Just moved to Fall River few months back and was looking for some food and Sam's pizza in Fall River is one of the best if not the best food I've tried. Always respectful, on time, and also they offer delivery. I give them a 10/10. If you haven't tried there food yet, get on over there and see what your missing out on.“

“If you’re coming to visit Newport and haven’t heard of Jo’s, it’s because it’s a hidden gem! Amazing local farm-to-table options that keep us and those who visit us asking to go back to that one place in Newport, I really loved! The service to guests with one or more allergies was superb! The chef personally came to our table on each visit to discuss what meals were safe to order. I have multiple allergies, so sometimes they would have made me my own off-the-menu special dish. I’ve never gotten sick once, and everyone who goes there with us when they visit always asks to go back on their next trip! ♥️“

“We were vacationing in Newport from Wisconsin and stopped in at Cappy’s. Sue the bartender was friendly and a wonderful bartender. The owner Joe, what can I say….what a guy! Joe saw us walking to our Airbnb and yelled at us on the street asking when we were headed back home. Joe is a gem of a bartender. He has a gift of gab and can hand out the bs too. Nice local establishment with friendly customers and bartenders. We had Dan as a bartender too and he was a friendly, great guy! “The food here is great and I really cant complain about anything except that the gluten free wraps taste like cardboard when they are raw. I have taken one of these sandwiches home with the GF wrap and toasted it and it is incredible. Rectify this and hands down 5 stars“

“Today we made a pilgrimage to Basil Yu’s restaurant, Yagi Noodles. My son happened to see that Basil had become a successful restaurateur while he was watching one of Guy Fieri’s shows. We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! “Really good Lobster Bisque soap purchased from a local supermarket here in NE PA. Backstory. I attended Endicott College back in the day and remembered sitting on rocks in Rockport with bunch of friends, enjoying the fresh, local seafood. 🍤 I recently noticed this brand while shopping and although pricey, I decided to try it for lunch today. The boil bag was easy peasy, enough for two bowls and like I mentioned to poster below, I purchased some RANA lobster ravioli that were void of any indication of lobster, although it was listed as second ingredient on packaging. I combined the two. What a delight with great flavor, thick broth and satisfying product. It’s what I purchased when your New England establishment is a distance away. It’s next best thing! 😋🦞“

“We just came by boat with two little kids not realizing the new fall hours. The employee working saw them peaking into the window and was so kind bringing them each out doughboy donuts. It was such a generous and thoughtful gesture that truly made these two little kids day! We look forward to coming again in the spring (during hours your open)“

We chose The Spruce Car, (as opposed to the murder mystery) which is aptly named, as it's filled with rich, warm woods. The cozy lighting & up-scale, but not pretentious, decor created the perfect ambiance for a romantic birthday. Dinner service was nothing short of wonderful. Our server, Maddie, was friendly, beautiful, and attentive. Both of our dinners were delicious and the cocktails were perfect. More locals should enjoy the Bellevue Grand. It's worth every penny.“

She was incredible from start to finish. She was detail-oriented, and so easy to work with. Abby made sure everything ran smoothly the entire day and handled all the little things before we even had a chance to notice them. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we could relax and enjoy the moment.
