“Got to have a good cold beer and some great food this past Friday before Participating in the 250th Anniversary of The Battle of Bunker Hill. We came all the way from Roxboro North Carolina. People were friendly, don’t know if it was my Southern Accent 😁 but either way I had a great time relaxing at the Tavern.”

“Do yourself a favor - skip over the Boston restaurants and head straight here. I’ve been coming for years and the food never disappoints. The service is great. And there’s gluten free on Monday - what more could you want!? Fabulous.”

“Had my birthday celebration at Blackmoor today. Excellent experience all around. Large Beer and Cocktail list and the appetizers were amazing! I had the Cod and it was one of the best meals I've had. Excellent service and atmosphere and this delicious desert to top it off! Highly recommend!”

“Go on Karoke night. The is a woman who sings “green eyes lady” that blew me away.
Reminded me of the Hideout in Chicago and that bar in Starwars.
Great spot, great sign, great talent behind the stick.”

“Cold baklava is to die for. The pistachio taste and its combination with cold milky syrup was outstanding. Sugarbellies (Şekerpare) was a disappointment, did not feel like homemade, it was doughy. The burma baklava was okay but did not get the nut taste quite a lot. The tea was fresh and amazing. Unfortunately, baked goods, simit and pogaca was stale, not fresh.”
“Great class very informative about chocolate and fun making the truffles.”

“I went here for the first time today and I was quite pleased! The cashier/barista was very sweet and she made a really lovely matcha latte. I added the tiger syrup which was delicious and tried the butter mochi, also very good.”

“Yalllll ….. this pizza joint is amazing. We landed in Boston on a Saturday night and were desperate to find a place to eat. We parked in front and the smell of the pizza was mouthwatering.
Super friendly guys!!!
The meat lovers pizza was SUPER delicious & the Greek salad we ordered was great.
The brownies were bomb!!
Clearly it’s a local fave bc they were pretty busy but quick and timely.? worth the flight from Texas lol”

“Here is what we ordered and our thoughts:
- Isfahan Rose Latte: Rose flavor was subtle and good, but I felt it didnt have much espresso and was pretty sweet. (I forgot to ask to reduce sweetness which I usually do)
- Nutella croissant: way too sweet. I've never held such a heavy croissant in my hand. It seemed like it was stuffed with a third of a tub of Nutella. Even my kids who love Nutella, didn't like it.
- The loaf of sourdough bread was great.
- Coffee Eclair: our first time having an eclair. We didn't like the coffee cream, and that the pastry was softened from the cream. I expected it to be crunchy or flaky, but it was soft. We've never had an eclair before, so not sure if that's how it it's supposed to be. I would have loved it if it was filled to order, to keep the pastry shell from soaking up the moisture of the cream.
- Service was great, very friendly and helpful, but we were told the kitchen closes 15 minutes before the bakery closes, therefore we couldn't get a sandwich as we came a bit after 2:45pm.
- Seems like they sell out of certain items too, so come early. There was only one eclair left and the only croissants left were the nutella croissants.
- They seem to have some great drinks and sandwiches on their menu, so we'll give it another try on a morning”

“Asia Mei is easily one of the best Chefs in Boston. I've eaten here several times, but I can't believe that I haven't written a review before now! My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.”

“An absolutely fantastic dining experience at Giulia. This is the kind of place that reminds you why great Italian restaurants are so special—thoughtful dishes, incredible flavors, and an atmosphere that feels both intimate and memorable.
Every dish we had was outstanding. The seafood pasta special with seabass and calamari was exceptional—perfectly prepared and packed with flavor. The squash appetizer was another highlight and set the tone for a meal where every course felt carefully crafted and unique. From start to finish, the food was creative, balanced, and simply delicious.
The service matched the quality of the food—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. It’s exactly the kind of experience you hope for when dining at a private Italian restaurant where the focus is clearly on great food and great hospitality.
To cap it all off, the post-meal limoncellos were excellent and the perfect finish to a memorable dinner.
If you enjoy Italian cuisine that’s both authentic and inventive, Giulia is an absolute must-visit.”
