“Walked in on a Friday afternoon. Bartender was absolutely fantastic. Old Fashioned was lovely. The Picklebacks though were the highlight of the trip. They make their own spicy pickle juice and I’m obsessed with it. I wish they bottled it and it was available for sale. I need the recipe. Best drinks we had in Boston all weekend.”

“Went for some pizza. Order at the counter got three slices to split with hubby. Proper pepperoni-pepperoni pizza with burrata and hot honey (my favorite one) Cheese and Milanese- cheese pizza with chicken cutlet and red peppers. We also wanted to try the arancini- made with prosciutto instead of ground beef. You can take it to go but we decided to stay and eat. Beautifully decorated. The owner Stefano was so nice and checked on us to see if we needed anything. As we were leaving we stopped at the gelato counter and got a gelato to go. I had the oreo. Soooo good! We will be back!”

“I ordered my daughters 6th birthday cake from La Casa Del Pandebono and it literally the best experience I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the custom cake beautiful and delicious, they provided a level of exceptional customer service that I didn’t even know existed. The “Tangled” cake included a beautiful edible gold crown as it’s center piece, and it was packaged separately. Despite my best efforts to handle it carefully, I accidentally broke it the night before the birthday party. I texted the owner asking if he has recommendations for me to reassemble it (knowing it was unlikely, but I was desperate). He immediately responded and asked for my address, letting me know he’d deliver a new one when he closed the store (I live in another town). I was shocked at his generosity and beyond grateful. As an expression of gratitude, a sent him an additional tip which he politely attempted to reject (I wouldn’t allow it…haha). In return, he delivered not only the grown, but an order of birria tacos and an empanada (which I was admiring when I went to pick up the cake) - literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot emphasize how touched I was by this experience. La Casa Del Pandebono is a rare gem - baked goods that are truly a work of art, and incredible food that is only surpassed by the unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life.”

“This is listed as Mexican but I go for the Salvadoran food. The pup usas are delicious. I live in JP and we drive all the way to East Boston because we love the food here, especially the beef soup, quesadillas, pupusas, nachos, queso Blanco, Nuegados, and tacos de lengua.”

“March 8th we had a retirement party catered from Stevie and gang at Sammys. Cold Cut Platter Assorted Calzone Chicken Boccoli and Ziti Sausage Potato Pepper and Onion Garden salad and dressing. Delivered to Saugus!!! Hot. Fresh. On time. Cost effective. Tasty!!!! Plentiful, we ran out of nothing with 50 adults, mostly men. 5 star job. ☆☆☆☆☆ Will use for the next gathering as well. “Visiting from out of town, found this place on Yelp and it looked great. They were fully booked and the bar was busy but then the hostess said they have a bar downstairs! Found a spot and had dinner. Server was great, provided great food recommendations and the drinks were well made. Overall very good experience! If we’re visiting again we’d definitely stop there again for dinner!”

“I have been going here for years and have tried almost everything on the menu. Everything is delicious and well-crafted from the unique sushi rolls to the classic and authentic Mexican dishes. The interior is clean and well decorated with a modern vibe. The staff are all extremely friendly and courteous. This is a true authentic restaurant in a world where everything is becoming a chain. This is truly a hidden gem just steps from the blue line.”

“The coffee and pastries at Eagle Hill were exceptional! So many good coffee flavors, so many decadent, freshly-baked pastries, such a lovely atmosphere, and such friendly and welcoming staff! If you need a good place for a coffee and quick bite, Eagle Hill is absolutely the place to go.”

“The black and blue burger was very taste. We also got the Cesar salad - the sliced pieces of Parmesan was a nice touch. My wife got the chicken sandwich, it was so so. My biggest issue, I could not find a menu anywhere in my room, on the Marriott website or on TV system. I had to come here to see the menu. I am a little irritated they would not substitute anything for the fries. The staff seemed to have a little attitude, but it might just have been the hostess.”

“You can't go wrong with this location. Absolute worst case scenario, you might have to wait a little while for a fresh batch of chicken (which could also be seen as a best case scenario, if you have time to spare). Staff is nice and works very hard, place is always busy but very clean.

I'm not going into detail about the quality of the food. It's the best. It's resplendence is exceeded only by the quetzal.”
