“Food arrived hot and quick service excellent we asked for off the menu item Avacado toast and they had no problem making it perfectly 10 outta 10 comfortable no rush breakfastA big thing for me is they didn't hassle me about bringing in Starbucks I hate when places do that it's usually the reason I leave and don't come back so good on them.So I got a coffee before I left forgot to get it before they closed out the bill they were very good about it I thought I didn't have cash and even when I realized I did they comped it very nice staff if I could give them 6 stars I wouldParking: A few parking spots but freeKid-friendliness: There were kids eating by themselves must be from the building”
“I love it here!the people are amazing, the staff is top notch, the music is great, the food blows everything else near by out of the water(yes, even better than Sully’s), the drinks are amazing.”
“Julia is one of the kindest and most thoughtful human beings I have ever met and her hazelnut iced lattes, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods are delicious! It feels like stopping by a family member or close friend’s home every time we pop in. Our dog learned the words “coffee shop” because of Julia and her treats. Well worth any wait when they are super busy- Julia genuinely cares about you and your order no matter how many customers she has!”
“Great food, at a decent price! We go there almost every summer as a treat. Enjoying some whole belly clams by the ocean? Absolutely. The seagulls can get a little ballsy but I guess that's the price you pay for amazing food! They are fast even when it's packed there. There's a park you can walk thru as well. Filled with families, plenty of parking and of course right on the ocean down the street from a local beach!”
“Wonderful little place in the heart of Southie on Broadway. One of the best pizzas I've ever had! Nice crust, baked properly and just the right amount of toppings. The server/hostess/manager was delightful!”
“Rocky is an amazing bartender and made our time in the bar area so much fun!!! He also made the most amazing strawberry coconut margarita. Also love playing both pickleball and shuffleboard here, always a good time!”
“We are at FlBat baby on a recent Saturday night The sushi was excellent as was the service . We had the dragon roll, tuna rice cakes and the shrimp noodles The 8 piece dragon roll was very good, with just right crunch for the tempura shrimp. My favorite was the tuna rice cakes. These bite sized pieces had a layer of tuna that melted in your mouth, along with the perfect tasting cakes which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only disappointment was the shrimp noodle dish. Although tasty, this shrimp in this dish were a bit tough. The noise level was too much for us but I would return on a different day.”
“Lovely store, with many Polish and European people, never ending good food, quite a selection of deli meats and cheese, and the vibe of the shop is nice. Stop in if in the region. The parking is horrible, but I will not lower the rating as it is not a option the owner can even change.Parking: Limited parking (roadside) on the street, in front of the store. Usually crowded and filled.”
“Playwright is amazing! Bartenders make amazing drinks and are so personable. It was Anthony’s (bartender) first day and he was absolutely amazing. Made the best drinks, gave us the best service, and was so kind! Nachos were unbelievable!”
“Came here last night for Sinatra Sunday and sat at the bar. The bartender was kind, knowledgeable and personable. The music was superb. It was a bit loud but it was part of the dinner/show experience so it wasn't bothersome to me or my boyfriend. We had the garlic bread which was amazing. I had the eggplant parm (subbed the pasta for grilled asparagus) and it was wonderful. I am looking forward to trying out dinning in the main part of restaurant next time.”
“About a year ago I accompanied some friends to this ice cream shop and I was overwhelmed by the smell of delicious espresso when I walked in the door. I didn't even get ice cream I got a latte instead haha. It was one of the best lattes I've ever had. (I'm not from the Boston area but my husband is a DJ there and DJ'ed the JPLicks holiday party. He shared how much pride they have in their coffee and where they source it from. It all made sense!) So last week when we were in the area I specifically made the trip back to this location. Once again the best mocha latte I've ever had. I'm a coffee connoisseur and this received my highest rating yet! Then once I found out their mocha sauce was made with their own hot chocolate mix I naturally had to snag a bottle of that too! Excellent service, 5 star rating!”
“This place holds a special place in my heart as one of the last true Southie bars. It was my version of Cheers. However, with the passing of Tony, a lot of things have changed. I ordered a shot and was stunned when one shot was a whopping $14. I miss the days of Butter behind the bar and cheap drinks. I’ll cherish the memories but it’s just not the same anymore.”
“I recently ordered the turkey, brie, cheese panini (added avocado), and it is literally one of the best paninis I have had in a while. Definitely recommend. The delivery was quick as well. Very good first time experience.”
“Everyone is so friendly! Anthony is the best! I asked him if he gets many days off, and his response was, "I love my job, it's not work to me". He's always smiling and makes my day :)”
“Nav from King George NJ is running a tight ship. Not only was the store clean, but they were fast and courteous. I messed up my order (my fault) and he remade it for me and didn't even charge. Top notch customer service. Definitely went the extra mile.”
“Jennifer is awesome and deserves 5 stars!! She's always so kind when I go through the drive through and remembers me and my dogs.I've had a poor experience just over a year ago with the manager and for that reason I'm docking a star.”
“One of the few restaurants in the area that have bathrooms open for the public (or customers.) Never had any weird experiences here although there was one time where an employee was standing at the door while it was locked,,, and was unlocking it and letting in people individually. I assume they were having some type of issue with a certain customer and had to do so for safety but nonetheless a little off-putting.”
“As for a job search and the I was great for the best year time the following is a the bit more than I would can you to Angelina do it this year way I have a lot of good for to is to best only best life family life one I but it is a very bit thing bye thing to do it in and a as well the it would be that you I to Angelina a able a able or and me to be able to get the a a”
“Woods Hill Pier 4 offers a dining experience like no other! Nestled by the water, the ambiance is both elegant and relaxed, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The farm-to-table concept shines through in every dish, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that burst with flavor.”
“We got very fortunate and grabbed a table as soon as we came in, it was Marathon Monday. Order the mushroom pizza and the kale and nappa cabbage salad. Both came very quickly, and was delicious. Our server, Israel, was amazing. Very knowledgeable and caring. He was fantastic. A great place for food....enjoy”
“What a shame I didn't discover this place sooner. Very good atmosphere, charming service and great quality of food.We had dinner at the bar and I enjoyed the experience many times. The Oysters are very top. We also ordered tuna and sea bass tartare.I will repeat for sure”
“Been here many times. I legit think the French toast here is the best I've ever had (and I have had a lot of French toast). It's so perfectly fried, and there are many delicious topping choices. My favorite I've tried is the seasonal pumpkin one in the fall. Bit of a sweetness overload though, can't finish it all. But hot tip: they do half portions of French toast so you can combine it with something savory. I also like their sandwiches, biscuits, and home fries. Despite a lot of love for their pancakes, I'd say they are just fine. Mixed experiences with service are making me dock a star. Sometimes they are very slow and inattentive. Even with reservations, they sometimes make you wait a good bit for a table. I guess it makes sense since this place is SO busy. Without reservations, the wait on weekends is insane. So def recommend making one or coming on a weekday.”
“The food was delicious and experience was mind-blowing. I loved the small plates concept and got to try so many different dishes. Every bite was extremely flavorful and delicious. Za'atar bread was to die for. Staff was EXTREMELY polite! They were also very conscious of allergens and accommodated and offered allergan-free options.Place is a bit small and crowded but nothing too inconvenient.”
“The food is absolutely delicious! The Lamb Souvlaki and Slow Roasted Lamb, well seasoned, delicious, and tender. The Mkhlovani and the Arugula and Fig Salad were tasty and nicely done.”
“Went on a Saturday night, had the pleasure of being seated and taken care of by Gwynne and cooked for by Miles. Incredible service, wonderful food, and amazing wine recommendations. Couldn’t name a better place in Southie, let alone Boston. Dates, family visits, drinks with friends - bring them all here and make sure you ask for Gwynne and give a shout to Miles (get the pickles)! Will be back ASAP”
“Best restaurant in Boston. Yep I said it. I’ve been 4 times and it only gets better. Everything I’ve tried has been incredible. Favs include tallegio cappelletti and panna cotta.”
“THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. I UNDERSTAND RESTAUTANT INDUSTRY IS NOT EASY BUT FOR ME TO GO TO AND SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE THAT FEELS SO FORCED TO WORK IS NOT WORTH MY TIME NOR MONEY.”
“the best Sicilian pizza and Arancini in America the USA ❤️ I've been coming here since my teenage years back in the 1980s ❤️ Thanks again Ralph and Paul the nicest people very friendly from your friend domenic ❤️ 5 stars A+ always ...”
“Eventide Fenway absolutely had the most amazing food I’ve ever tasted. Carefully crafted seafood cuisine, raw bar and great cocktails. I hear that there is a mothership location in Maine. I’ll try that too one day. PERFECTION! Great staff too”
“From classic Italian subs to creative specialty sandwiches, each bite is packed with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch on the go or settling in for a leisurely meal, Rondo's never disappoints. It's a must-visit destination for any sandwich lover in town!”
