I didn't even get ice cream I got a latte instead haha. It was one of the best lattes I've ever had. (I'm not from the Boston area but my husband is a DJ there and DJ'ed the JPLicks holiday party. He shared how much pride they have in their coffee and where they source it from. It all made sense!) So last week when we were in the area I specifically made the trip back to this location. Once again the best mocha latte I've ever had. I'm a coffee connoisseur and this received my highest rating yet! Then once I found out their mocha sauce was made with their own hot chocolate mix I naturally had to snag a bottle of that too! Excellent service, 5 star rating!“

Coolest restaurant menu I’ve ever seen, annotated with so much meaning and history behind every ingredient and dish. I ordered two drinks, a main, and a side. Everything was delicious. After eating, I spent some time sipping a drink on the couch/lounge area looking at their books. An immersive cultural experience. I will be back. “A cute little neighborhood shop in West Roxbury. I came here on a weekend afternoon and the place was full of people inside and out enjoying a cup of gelato. You can learn the difference between ice cream and gelato from their wall decor while you decide on what flavor to get. I had high hopes for this gelato and it didn't disappoint. I got pistachio and creme brulee and definitely preferred the pistachio more. It had a light flavor that was creamy, but not overpowering. The gelato had a good texture to it and I would love to go back to try out the other flavors.“

Recently bought banana lazy bar and it was delicious. Who knew banana flavored ice cream can be decadent and tasty. It doesn't have any bitter artificial aftertaste. “This afternoon I decided to stop by Taiyaki NYC for a quick snack. They have two of this locations in Boston, one located in the seaport area and the other one located right in Harvard square. This store is very easy to access as it's right at the intersection of church street and Massachusetts avenue. I would recommend using the T and get off right at the Harvard square stop since parking is very limited in this area. As soon as you enter this shop you are greated by lovely and welcoming employees. The ambiance of this store is very nice and very nicely decorated. There's no seating so the majority of customers just stop to grab and go. They have a very good menu variety, as shown in the picture below not only they have regular mochi donuts, but they also have butter mochi donuts which are gluten free and whipped cream bombs. They also have a big variety of ice creams flavors with great topping and syrup choices. They also have cold drinks, sodas and hot drinks. They also offer a seasonal menu which special flavors like red velvet. Today I tried the vanilla cream bomb and the peach passion fruit soda. The cream bomb was really big and the filling was plenty. It tasted very good and not too sweet. You could taste that the dough was freshly made. The soda was also delicious. Everything was lovely and I had a great experience. I recommend this place to everyone that happens to be around the area.“
“There are many ice cream flavors and different sizes to choose from. I ordered three flavors: 3B, Earl gray, and Kulfi. They were all delicious. Among them, 3B (brown sugar, brown butter, brownie) is the signature flavor and the most amazing. It has a strong creamy aroma and is surprisingly not overly sweet. , paired with brownie to make the taste richer. Earl Gray tea has a very elegant taste. The aroma of bergamot comes first in the mouth, and the tea flavor comes out later, with an endless aftertaste. Kulfi is cardamom-flavored ice cream with chopped nuts. It feels like drinking Indian spiced milk tea. There is a large table and some sofas in the store, and there is also water for guests to take by themselves, which is very considerate.“

“I can’t say enough about Soc’s. We live in Boston and although we love visiting new ice cream stands, Soc’s has become our go-to place and a tradition. “Amazing Vegan Ice cream. I have a dairy allergy and I’ve tried a lot of different vegan desserts. These taste exactly like the regular desserts. I had the grasshopper pie with hot fudge and it was amazing. You can even buy toppings for at home use - I bought a jar of hot fudge! Also I love the take a drawing/poem and leave one. I want to do it next time! Would love to see a vegan ice cream flight! Or little ice cream sandwiches.“

“Located near Harvard Square, we strolled around and came upon this dessert haven. They have a ton of flavors to choose from, and they give out samples if requested. It wasn't crowded when I came, so we didn't have an issue perusing the selection, which includes desserts beyond gelato. We went with the dulce de leche and the hazelnut, both of which were packed with flavor. One scoop as a bigger scoop than others, but I am happy to get a little extra, just noting it wasn't consistent. There are a few tables inside to sit and enjoy or it's a handy treat to take around and walk.“

It's freaking ice cream so you will need those napkins. I just get really annoyed having to go back to the window and wait minutes for a couple napkins! “Mike's Pastry is the original cannoli spot here in Boston. There is a long line, but it goes quickly. There are a variety of cannoli flavors posted across the entire wall with various and unique options. I opted for the Pistachio, Florentine, and Oreo flavors going for $7 a pop. It's pricier at Mike's than Modern, but also the cannolis are bigger. I enjoyed all they have so much more variety of flavors, so allows for more creativity. Overall, Mike's and Modern are both just as good. If you like variety, come here. Plus, this is the OG location for cannolis. You can't go wrong with either option. If you come to Mike's, definitely try the florentine one though. This had such a nice carmelized, crunchy texture that you gotta eat right away.“

“I was recently shopping at Crumbl Cookie at the Dedham Plaza. My wife and I were passing on by when she asked me to look online about it while I was waiting for her while she went into Stsr Market. So I checked out what Crumbl Cookie was all about and decided when she came out that we would go over there and check it out. Upon entering I was quite shocked about how big the baking facilities were. But not to impressed with the amount of space for customers to be waiting at. Their were no chairs to sit while waiting for your order or to even sit down to eat and enjoy a cookie. But needless to say maybe it's something they can probably work on in futureAnyway the facilities were very clean and the ordering was painless. I ordered a Banana Nut bread cookie, while I also ordered a Snickdoodle cookie, we also ordered a waffle cookie which came with a side of syrup, and last but not least I wish that I could remember the cookie that we ordered but I can't remember. When we got home after eating dinner we got into the cookies and let me tell you that this was the best Snickerdoodle cookie that I've ever had. It was on the sweet side but it didn't deter me from eating it all and wishing that I had another one. MY wife and my mother in-law both enjoyed their cookies as well. All in all we would highly recommend that people give the Crumbl a chance to try out some delicious cookies and also from what I understand is that they change their menu every week with different varieties of cookies so never the same dull menu. “I have such fond memories coming here throughout the years. I was originally introduced to this location a few years ago by the kids I babysat, since they lived in Waltham and the Belmont Center location was closer than the Newtonville one. We kept going back and it was delicious every time! My go to flavor is the hydrox cookies and cream. It won't let you down! The staff is mainly juniors and seniors in high school and they're so nice to guests and are hustling on the job (and supporting eachother on their college adventures which you love to see). There's not many seats inside but that was never a problem for us. Besides, it's nicely located in Belmont Center so you can also walk around a bit, or sit outside if you'd like. :)“

I wanted to try a flavor first, before ordering, but quickly learned they do not do samples. I decided to go with what the worker who was helping me suggested, and I definitely left this place a happy lady! I got a small size in a cup, with a matcha cone of one scoop honey lavender and one scoop of caramel crackle. I have never tried honey lavender flavor in an ice cream and was interested due to all the reviews. The honey lavender was good, but not my cup of tea... the star of the show for me was the salted caramel crackle! The mango sorbet was also delicious, by the way! They also offer other treats such as cookies and brownies. We went on a Tuesday and I was super intrigued by the Tuesday Taco special but decided to just get a small size first to try. Honeycomb creamery, I will most definitely be coming back soon :)“

Absolutely delicious! It was almost more than I could comfortably eat, but that wasn't going to stop me! The drive-through is super convenient, though in the pouring rain their awning is just the wrong length. Don't care at all, the ice cream was worth it. Although the coffee was strong and good, the execution was bad: the steaming hot coffee was immediately poured over the ice cream, so all of it melted in the 1.5 minutes that it took to walk to my car. The tres leches had vanilla wafers, while the baklava had filo dough pieces and walnuts, which added some texture variety. I also enjoyed the waffle cone. It was thicker and chewier than store bought ones.Cons: This was very messy to eat because the ice cream was already half melted by the time I was handed my cone (unsure if this is usually the case with their ice cream). I was also shocked by the price when I went to pay (almost $15)—it turns out that I was overcharged. They corrected this after I emailed customer support. “Perfect spot on your way to the Cape. Grab a treat to make the ride (and sometimes traffic) easier. Very convenient/close to Rte 3 but tiny parking and difficult to get in/out. The DQ is all outside and the old design (walk-up windows). Staff is nice and quick. Ice cream (ice milk) is not too heavy and perfect to pick at during the next hour+ of driving. Make the kids and everyone a little happier. No cones in the car. A blizzard is less mess and easier to nibble slowly.“
