“Exploring the old neighborhood after years away and popped into Shirley on at Saturday morning. Got the disco breakfast sandwich and couldn’t resist taking a blueberry pastry and focaccia for later. Just remarkable. Perfectly balanced. Katherine was so hospitable! Came back on Sunday and got the mozzarella salami sandwich. No misses on the menu!“

“I wanted to take a moment to leave a positive review because I’ve had nothing but great experiences at this Jersey Mike’s. The food is consistently fresh, the store is clean, and the service has always been friendly and professional.

I’ve noticed that some of the reviews seem to be related to former employees’ experiences with the workplace rather than the actual customer experience. While everyone is entitled to share their experience, I think it’s important for customers to also hear from people who have actually visited the store.

Every time I’ve been here, the staff has been helpful, my order has been correct, and the overall experience has been great. I wouldn’t want a customer looking at the reviews to overlook a good local business because of reviews that may not reflect the experience of the average customer.

“Always fast and good. They recently updated their soda fountain. Space is currently a bit more crowded (looked like they were waiting for their old beverage cooler to get hauled away so it's by the door). Staff is always friendly.
Take note that while this location accepts most coupons, they don't take the buy one, get one free type.“

“This my favorite subway ... I travel an extra few miles for it. The staff are all really good. Also this shop kept accepting my paper coupons -- after Medford and Malden did not. So I am grateful enough to make the trip even now. I'd be a regular again if I didn't have to go online.“

“My first time here, and the first thing I noticed was how cute and inviting the space is! The food and drinks were sooo delicious. 😋 I had the Bom Dia breakfast sandwich, while my friend ordered the Greek breakfast sandwich. We also tried a couple of iced coffees and the gut-healing juice, everything was amazing! The staff were also very friendly. I’ll be back!“

The savory breakfast items are especially popular. I personally think it’s good not great (a little too greasy), but their generous bacon-oriented offerings are especially popular.

Weekdays and weekends expect a little crowd and/or line of folks waiting to place or pickup their orders.“

“Perfect little sub shop in Backbay. We opted for the Italian Sub to go. The atmosphere was awesome with a lot of locals getting what seemed to be a regular daily lunch meal. The staff and customers seemed to know each other and a sense of community was ever so prevalent. The food itself was outstanding, even after a 5 hour train ride it traveled with us to ur next stop. Highly recommend this place. Truly a diamond in the rough.“

“Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. It's really nice to know that these non pretentecious simply good food places still do exist.“
