“Great Steak and Cheese sub with the peppers and onions remind me of the old steak and cheese from Papa Gino's in D'Angelo's back in the 90s and 80s in which they don't have the because they changed vendors the steak and cheese is not taste like the steak and cheese I tasted before.. there's no taste to it.. I'm talking to D'angelo and Papa Gino's I'm talking to Angelos and Papa Gino's that's why you don't see them around anymore“

“I am happy and glad they do not have restrooms.Restrooms bring a lot of bacteria to places, specifically food places, which would not be an ideal to prevent sickness among each other. It’s better and sanitary for customers to pay for their food and take it with them or carry hand wipes with them if they want to sit down to eat.“

“Perfect little sub shop in Backbay. We opted for the Italian Sub to go. The atmosphere was awesome with a lot of locals getting what seemed to be a regular daily lunch meal. The staff and customers seemed to know each other and a sense of community was ever so prevalent. The food itself was outstanding, even after a 5 hour train ride it traveled with us to ur next stop. Highly recommend this place. Truly a diamond in the rough.“

“Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. It's really nice to know that these non pretentecious simply good food places still do exist.“
