“I have lived in the Boston-esque area for twelve years and have eaten so many good meals, but the fish tacos here are the only meal I needed to have before my upcoming move out west(ern MA). Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.“

“Great place especially if you’re a brew aficionado. (I am not.) Went with some long-time friends for dinner. They are beer fans and they spent quite a while discussing the many thousands of options.

The food was pretty good. Not overly-large-typically-American portions. I got the mac and cheese just cuz I like mac and cheese. Our apps were good too.

The waitstaff is great. Very knowledgeable and polite.

It’s pretty loud there even though it’s sort of an indoor/outdoor place. We sat inside but it was so nice out that they opened their bay (think garage) doors so the breeze could waft through. It ended up being a bit cold but was fine.

This is a great dinner or happy hour restaurant. Highly recommend!!!

“Ive lived in the area for 7 years and drove by this place many times and never felt inspired to check it out based on its curb appeal. Inside its a standard mid-sized local sports bar that I get the sense has a loyal local following. To my surprise food was above average and staff was very very friendly. Full bar, but limited draft selection if your a beer snob this probably isnt your spot.“

“LOOOOOOK ! When I tell you it was everything I needed in a solo Sunday brunch, it was every single thing. The host, male young guy and so very nice was a great way to start the day. But my waitress Mimi was AWESOME! Her accent was lovely she took care of me like we were family and she told me, as a first time person here, that I was not going to be disappointed and I wasn’t! Everyone I encountered was so very nice and gracious but Mimi was the home run for the business. I eat out a lot and do a lot of reviews and she made me want to love the experience. She checked in frequently and there was never a moment that I, as a solo table was lwss important for her as the big tables. Thank you Mimi!!!🥳 Also at some point a manager asked if I was good and I was GREAT! If you’re visiting Harvard, Cambridge or surrounding area run to this place!!! “We dined at the bar at Branch Line last night and although it was insanely busy, everything was fantastic. Shoutout to Merrick and Manuela for taking great care of us (and to the other bartender, as well, very fun to watch him handle the service rush!)“

“Wife and I were driving up to Boston for the July 4th holiday weekend on Thursday night. We had already stopped to eat on the way up and decided to stop and catch the end of the World Cup game and have a drink before reaching our final destination. They were absolutely packed for the game and we squeezed into a couple of seats at the bar. They offered a tremendous selection of craft beers on tap. Service was a little slow as the two bartenders appeared more concerned with restocking the glassware than serving the patrons. (You'd think some of the other employees would handle this on such a busy night) When we finally got their attention, they were friendly enough. I'd love to try this place on a quieter night. Should I ever have the opportunity, I'll update my review.“

“This is a hidden gem. I've passed this restaurant many times and finally tried it today before the dinner crowd started to come in. The interior is larger than it seems from the outside. It's well decorated, clean, and the tables aren't all crowded next to each other. The food was very good as well as pricing. The portions are decent. I read some comments about carnitas but despite the negative comments we tried the carnitas tacos, they were really good and we would definitely recommend them. They have a back room with a bar. I recommend this place for the food, ambiance, and price. The service was good. Waiter and staff are very friendly.“
