“cute little restaurant in brighton! everyone who works here is so kind and service was amazing. we got the salmon bowl, fried chicken sandwich, the brown sugar ginger latte and a smoothie and we loved everything. the space is cozy and clean. definitely coming back!”
“One of the best Qabili I have had. The lamb shank melted in the mouth. Everything we ordered was amazing. Do have their feerny (dessert) to end your meal. Must eat place if you are looking for authentic Afghani cuisine. + people who run the business are super warm. They did everything possible to make our large group with two infants and a toddler feel welcomed and comfortable. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options but please remember that Afghani cuisine is mostly meat centric.Parking: Ample street parking. There’s a school parking across the street but not sure if one is allowed to park during daytime. I didn’t see any sign or posting that says otherwise so maybe it’s ok! So please double check before parking there”
“This is an all you can eat shabu restaurant that has an enormous selection of veggies, noodles, sauces, dips, and proteins. For an extra fee you can get thinly sliced meat to cook as well. The ingredients have always been fresh and it's up to you to create your own tasty soup/meal.Unlike some other shabu establishments, you get your own individual pot, so this is good if people in your party have different dietary preferences. For example a vegetarian might want to start with a vegetable broth, while non-veg might want a pork- or other meat-based broth. There are a handful of broths to choose from. Or if you really want to customize, you can start with a pot of hot water and make your own broth using soy sauce, salt, spices, etc. This place tends to be super busy on the weekends, easily an hour wait sometimes during the most popular times. And during popular times you are supposed to finish your meal within 90 minutes of being seated. But if you go during the week, the waits are often shorter, especially after 8pm.Your meal is topped off at the end with self-serve soft-serve ice cream. It's usually a choice of vanilla or green tea ice cream - both are great!Vegetarian options: There is a huge selection of greens, roots, noodles, and sauces that can work with any vegetarian and vegan diet.Dietary restrictions: Your meal is 100% customizable. If you don't like the premade broths, you can start with a pot of hot water and make your own broth in short order. After that, you pick and choose what you want to cook in your broth.”
“There's lots of good Thai food around Boston but Thonglor is my favorite! Every time I take a new bite I literally think the words, "This is cooked to perfection" LOL... like the Ratatouille critic... Such a dependable delivery place, I try to order something new each time and every single dish has been delicious! I can tell from photos that the dine-in plating looks beautiful, and I think even in the take-out boxes you can tell there is lots of care put in. :) I love the pad kee mao, khao pad tomyum, and mango sticky rice. The curry puffs and keaw wan gai are also great!”
“Best place in this area for big.gatherings& all their food is so delicious !!!Parking: Large free parking lot !Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating for kids !”
“We ordered the lamb dumplings and cumin lamb noodles (dry) both were delicious!! Small location with great food! They do have parking in the back but it was small and they were full.”
“My personal favorite in the area. Can't comment on the service or atmosphere but the pizza is a very good New York style. Sides are totally average but that's not a bad thing.”
“The best Latin food in Boston is here, the atmosphere is incredible and the staff is very friendly, excellent place to celebrate a special day ?? the paella is the best dish ??”
“So nice to see the Windowmaker empire grow and adding a full in house menu of food to boot!Smaller space than the original fantastic spot in Braintree but so in line with the vibe they have always embodied.Still such a great lineup of beer too. So many hazy IPAs, top notch spurs and a few other great brews of other realms too.Nice addition a stones throw from Roadrunner too, that I imagine may be less busy that some of the other spots on Guest St that have opened.”
“It's such a lovely place to go with a date or with a friend. I recommend the eggplants with honey as well as the patatas with aioli. They have a great selection of wine, so I advise you to try at least 3 of them.”
“Sammy’s is the only place in Boston my boyfriend and I will go to for pizza - it is delicious. Not only is it made to perfection every time but the presentation is always spot on. I highly recommend- Philly steak & cheese- Hawaiian- Buffalo chicken (not pictured)Side note, getting it well done adds a nice extra crisp”
“Awesome locally owned coffee shop. Great atmosphere with reasonably priced food and drinks.Kid-friendliness: The staff was so friendly with our four year old son. Definitely felt like he was welcome to be there.”
“I can't say enough good things about this brewery. The staff was incredibly hospitable and knowledgable. Some of the best lagers I have ever tasted, which is not to be taken lightly given their difficulty to perfect. Next time I make my way up from NJ this is at the top of my list, cheers!”
“Come as hungry as you can so you can order more of the delicious food at Our Zone. We’ve ordered a solid chunk of the menu over our many visits here, and nothing disappoints. Seriously it’s all good, and it comes out in a jiffy… tasty spicy sichaun food! Faves include the twice cooked pork, chicken with chilis, the fish in special chili sauce, mapo tofu, and preserved egg. Oh, the preserved egg… yummm. This is all not mentioning how friendly the owner is… if you need help ordering she can give you suggestions. When you have Our Zone as an option other restaurants don’t always compare well.Vegetarian options: You can eat well as a veg at Our Zone. Just let them know :-)”
“What a gem! Super approachable, super service, super variety... it really is super bien! Pop in and grab one of their empanadas when you're waiting for a table in Charles Speedway. Or, sign up for one of their wine tasting classes (wine and hot dogs, anyone?!!). Or cozy up at the bar with your favorite person and try one of their expertly curated wines. Oh -- don't forget to grab a lil something from their ready-to-go deli fridges: flan, salads, all sorts of fresh goodies. There's no bad choice here: you'll have a super bien time :)”
