“The boba tea is always amazing. I usually get milk tea from here and it’s always good. The reason I rated this place four stars is because this isn’t top tier fancy boba tea this is just quick nice boba tea. I recommend this place to people who like boba or want a sweet treat.“

“This place is a TRUE family operation! When they say it is Grandma's kitchen - Grandma is actually the one making your meal in the kitchen! We had the pleasure of meeting Grandma, Andy and Lynn (her family and front of house). The food was amazing and truly authentic Taiwanese fare. After our meal, grandma came out of the kitchen to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Meeting her and her family, sharing stories of Taiwan together, was truly the highlight of our evening! Thank you so much for a great memory.PLEASE support Grandma's Kitchen and keep honest, wholesome businesses like this thriving!“

“The poke bowls are some of the best in the area. They are extremely generous with the portions, especially the salmon and tuna poke. The kiosks are incredibly helpful when you want to customize your orders! Overall great value for what you’re paying!“

“This place is simple. It sells boba, and it sells waffles. I’ve tried the waffles, next time boba! But I did really love the variety it had with waffles. Lots of fun flavors like strawberry cheesecake and apple pie (which I got). I also loved how all the employees handled the waffles with care. The place was pretty busy on a Saturday evening with not a ton of space. I got my waffle in about 10 minutes and ate it on the walk to the theater. The apple pie waffle was good. The waffle itself was hot and yummy. It wasn’t a Belgian waffle, but it wasn’t a normal waffle either. The batter must have something in it to make it taste a bit different. It was pretty fluffy and held up the toppings quite well. The cinnamon apple chunks were lightly warmed and gently sweet. The “crust” was Biscoff cookies. I think a Graham cracker crumble would have been better because the Biscoff was too sweet compared to the apples and waffle.I’ll definite come again!“

“Went for my first time the other night. My friend and I Had the spiked mango lassi with boba, hibiscus House soda, red oil dumplings, pork belly buns, and not pictured were two bowls of pho. Overall loved the experience. Server was new but did a great job. Service was quick and timely. They kept our water cups topped off the whole time which was appreciated. I want to try the ramen next so I'll add the fifth star when I come back again!“

“One of my new go-to spots for Asian-inspired healthy bowls.I first found out about Lotus Test Kitchen last year while looking for a lunch spot in Downtown. Since then, I’ve been getting bowls from here at least once a month. They seamlessly meld Asian flavors into healthy bowls without a lot of compromises. My favorite bowl is their signature Braised Pork Belly Bowl, which features three substantial chunks of tender pork belly. It also comes with cabbage slaw, and pickled daikons and carrots that helps tone down the greasiness with their tangy, refreshing crunch. And then there's the Spicy Gochujang sauce, an optional but highly recommended addition that weaves sweetness and a subtle kick to the bowl. While certain dishes, like the Thai Curry Chicken and the Spicy BBQ Korean Pork Belly bowl, occasionally come with meat that errs on the drier side, their sauce and pickled vegetable toppings help elevate the central ingredients.Overall, a great lunch spot that offers a quick, filling, and delicious bowls. If you’re looking for something healthy outside of your usual salad bowls, I highly recommend giving them a try.“

“I have been dying to try this place for a while now. I finally was able to stop in today because I had to pick up a cetering order. The first face I saw was a gentleman named Michael. He was a funny, humble, and an amazing human being. He answered every question I threw at him about some items on the menu and made some really good suggestions. I got the Mochiko Chix Sandwich with some tetras tots with some gochujang mayo. The food was absolutely delicious!! And tell you what, I WILL be back!Thank you Michael!Sorry about no pictures, my stomach had other plans.“

“Finally, got to try This place. They had soft Opening which was not to best. The ordering process was pretty smooth . The wait was not to long. We got the infamous Sho-Gun Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve Mix With Edible 24K gold , Maiko Special (Parfait) Hojicha/Strawberry Mix Soft Serve and Matcha Latte Float. Everything was so rich in favor. The matcha favor is probably the best that I had so far. You can taste the quality of the soft serve. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny. Definitely, need to try them out“

“Was nearby and wanted to try new boba spots and saw this place had açaí too so we had to try it. The space is super long. Unfortunately boba was no longer on the menu. But the açaí was really good. I got super hyped when I saw they had different bases, I couldn't decide on what to try. We got a Berry Delicious açaí base bowl, and a Paradise Pitaya base bowl, and a Açaí berry smoothie. My fiancé devoured his açaí bowl no problem. And the pitaya base was so good and fruity. I saw they have a green base and a spring time mango base too. Definitely gonna have to come back and try it!“

“Wonderful restaurant! I am about to graduate college and I have been eating here with my family and friends since I was a baby. The people who work here are the kindest people you will ever meet and the food is delicious! There are tons of options for eaters of all kinds. My favorite items are the Dan Dan noodles, dumplings, and smoothies. It’s my favorite place to eat in the Boston are and you definitely don’t want to miss it! It’s located in the middle of a beautiful part of Cambridge and very easily accessible. It’s a very walkable area and this place is the perfect pit stop mid walk. I will continue eating here for as long as I can :)Vegetarian options: I ate here before I was a vegetarian and have eaten here many times since and there are many options.Dietary restrictions: Many food and drink options.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. My parents used to bring me to eat here as a baby.Wheelchair accessibility: There are buttons to open the door and the restaurant is on one level.“

“If there were ten stars, I would give BANH MI CAFE those. We just got priced out of Cambridge after living there for years and years. What's helping us not to lose our minds is finding the beautiful library, our apartment in a high rise apartment complex, and some great foodie places for me to explore. My very fave is Nancy and her incredible BANH MI CAFE. The best Vietnamese coffee ever as well as the best sandwiches I have ever had. We've tried the beef, the original coldcut, and a breakfast type one which is sunnyside up and pate. All delish...my personal pick is original coldcut. Best coldcuts!! Lots and lots of interesting teas, boba. drinks, etc.Take out only, or Nancy's hub will deliver in the area“

“this place was absolutely amazing!!! the food was life changing! i got lemon grass beef pho, Bánh Giò, tiramisu, and cucumber mint lemonade, and everything was so good! Both of the ladies were so sweet, and the food was a steal based on what you get for what you pay! Definitely worth driving up to Boston for“
“It's great to find boba drinks in town for sure, but it's not up to par with the better known boba places closer to the city. I'd go with the smoothies over the boba tea drinks. The flavors taste a bit powdery/artificial but definitely hits the spot if you want to get a quick drink with your kids who can't really tell the difference. The egg waffles also aren't quite right, but can't complain since it's so convenient.“

“Generally I don't care for boba tea.But was craving some brown sugar boba tea. And some of my other usual spots were either too busy or too hard.I liked the fact I could choose the sweetness level which was nice. Did a 30% sugar tea, and got a egg waffle (also recommended)Tasted good, drank the whole tea, and the ice cream was good too. Venue was cute, but nothing mind blowing. The girl who worked the counter was effective. Not a bad spot for a quick fix.“

“wonderful staff. they engage in your interests and ask about how you feel with the tea you get. tried their pu-erh and it is definitely high quality. also bought a vegan wrap from them. great blend of spices and sauce. slightly too much spice that overpowered the tahini (bought the bing bang wrap) but still delicious. If i ever go to another show at the sinclair again I will definitely eat there beforehand“

“Decided to stop by because we were craving boba. Loved everything about this place from the atmosphere to the drinks! High quality and you can tell the owners use fresh ingredients and care about delivering delicious drinks to their customers. Would definitely come here again if I'm in the area!“
“We stopped in on a Saturday late afternoon and there was plenty of seating available. The space was bigger than expected with booth seats and table seating. We were seated at a booth and it was quite comfortable. We ordered the Beef hot soup and the Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup. No substitutions allowed but we chose to omit a couple ingredients. The medium spicy is quite spicy so I would recommend going milder and using the chili dipping sauce on the side. Both broths were flavorful enough that you don't necessarily need the soy garlic sauce provided. I immediately turned off the flame under the hot pot because I didn't want the beef to overcook. I do wish there was an option to turn it back on without having to call someone over to light it again. Lunch meals come with a choice of iced green tea or black tea and choice of white rice or vermicelli. Tea was already sweetened, might've been a tad sweet for my liking though. Wait staff was efficient and friendly. There is a call bell on the table that alerts staff that you need something, otherwise they are not really checking up on you. Overall a solid satisfying lunch!“

“Loved this cute little cafe! They serve hot drinks, bubble tea, and desserts. Thai iced tea with brown sugar pearls was delicious! Staff were very friendly and completed our orders pretty quickly.“

“Soups here are very good and flavorful. The service is quick (implied by the name 10 second delivery) because the prep is done in advance. If you get takeout, expect noodles and most toppings to be packaged separately as trays to one container. Parking can be found on the side road. It's located behind Wollaston station.“

“I’ve tried a lot of bubble tea in the area, and this is by far the best. The tea quality is great (especially the Hong Kong milk tea - seriously delicious!), and they put plenty of boba (that is chewy and fresh!) in each order. The staff are also very kind and efficient, and if you order multiple teas, will pack them perfectly in a cute reusable bag with straws inside. My only other wish for this place is that I so wish they had matcha, which is my favorite flavor and go-to tea, but the quality here is so superior I’ve been willing to switch flavors most of the time to come here!“

“All of the drinks here are fantastic. The halo-halo was a little too sweet, but I think you can ask for less sugar. I had a mushroom sandwich which was so full of flavor. “I have been coming to Hardy teriyaki for quite a while now and I am addicted to the supreme teriyaki chicken bowl. The chicken is always so fresh and tender and flavorful. Not only is the food consistently delicious, the people who work there are so friendly and kind. “My second visit to Mecha Noodle Bar was as enjoyable as the first. Initially, I dined at their Seaport location, which was fantastic. This time, I went with friends to the Brookline branch. It's a tad smaller than the Seaport spot but still spacious enough for groups. We only had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes, which was reasonable. Plus, there's a fantastic bookstore nearby where you can pass the time while waiting! We all opted for ramen, and it didn't disappoint in terms of portion size and satisfaction. I went for the spicy miso ramen, which was bursting with flavor. I always add tamago which is aways a great choice; it complemented the dish perfectly. I highly recommend adding an egg to your noodles! For appetizers, we indulged in dumplings, pork baos, and edamame, and they were all incredibly delicious. The pork belly baos, in particular, stood out; the pork belly was incredibly tender. Overall, Mecha Noodle Bar is an excellent choice for a romantic date or a casual meal with friends.“

“A great little sushi shop with excellent service. We ordered milk tea boba and sushi hand rolls after the Patriot's Day re-enactment. We asked for light sweetness in the tea and they nailed it. “A lovely shop to grab Asian snacks and froyo. They have Hi Chew, Kopiko coffee candy, dried squid jerky, Ramune soda, frozen popsicles & ice creams, boba, and froyo. Great to grab some snacks while you wait in line across the hall for Yume Ga Arukara “

“If you're looking for a cute little spot to sit down and relax with a cup of milk tea, look no further! The interior of this little Newbury St. brownstone looks almost like a coffee shop, with some cute decor and a few tables and chairs for hanging out in. The prices here aren't too bad compared to other nearby spots - most milk teas here are around $5 (not including boba). I ordered their taro milk tea with boba here, which was delicious and exactly what I'm looking for in a drink. It had the perfect amount of sweetness (after I asked them for 50% sweetness) and not an overwhelming amount of ice. I really enjoy my experience every time I visit Mr. Tea and will definitely be back!“

“Wow, I can't think of the last time I went to somewhere so unassuming and yet so good. Quick food. Cheap. Fun inside. For parking, there's no lot but plenty on the street. Here was our order: watermelon slush with passion fruit boba, Blue Hour (Large tart and sweet blue raspberry lychee lemonade slushy), fries with spicy mayo, Spicy Salmon Onigirazu (Smoked salmon wrapped in seaweed seasoned rice and topped with spicy mayo), Korean Corn Dog (Deep fried battered hot dog and mozzarella stick lightly coated in sugar), Firecracker Shrimp Onigirazu (A hybrid seasoned rice ball sandwich served with two pieces of shrimp tempura and spicy mayo wrapped in seaweed), and Mera Mera Fries (Crispy fries topped with a homemade spicy mayo sauce and seasoning).“

“This is my go to place for bubble tea, I love their atmosphere, service and the bubble tea is soo good! “This is my go-to spot for bubble tea in Arsenal Yards - also this is the only one ? Regardless, Ten One is known for their tea quality, and this location definitely holds up. The boba is also made perfectly to my preference, both in chewiness and sweetness. It can take a while for the drinks to be made so I would recommend ordering in advance. There is limited seating here, but they have windows so there is a nice view of Arsenal Yards while enjoying your drink.“

“A decent refreshing stopover for boba drinks and light snacks.Amidst numerous boba options in Chinatown, Pin Ming might not top the charts. Nevertheless, I came here a couple times to try their drinks and food. Their regular boba toppings were mediocre as it lacked chewiness. On the other hand, the strawberry pearls stood out – these little sphere added an unexpected fruity sweetness that elevated some of their drinks.I also got to try some of their food, Popcorn Chicken and Fried Shrimp. Over-seasoned and quite salty, Popcorn chicken was a bit of a letdown. But the shrimp was a surprisingly good deal. Its batter was basic but perfectly crispy, and the shrimp was moist and creamy. In Chinatown’s boba scene, Pin Ming might be at the lower end of the spectrum, but if you’re in a mood for some good snacks and decent drinks, Ping Ming might be a good choice.“

“I know y'all go for the chicken, which I have yet to try myself, but y'all. Y'all. You have to try their drinks! These are also made fresh to order and MORE than worth the wait!!!I checked this place out for the first time partly because my buddy has been here plenty of times and he vouched for it, yet he's never tried the drinks! I wanted an authentic milk tea, or just some kind of nice refreshing beverage from a local spot, you know? Well, I got what I came for, okay?!!I started out with the Fresh Black Grape Tea, which was definitely fresh and made right in front of me, and definitely grapey. I found it having a good amount of sweetness, and it's just an awesome drink to get. Simple as that. There are grape bits at the bottom, so if you aren't too keen on that type of texturized experience or potentially getting something stuck on your teeth in the middle of your hot date, you may want to refrain from ordering this one. Otherwise, ball out!The next jawns I got were the Strawberry Milk Tea and the Passionfruit Slush, because I couldn't just stop at one.The Passionfruit Slush was super different than what I expected. I'm unsure of if it was just how it was made when I went, but there was very little to almost zero sweetness to it. They also must have put milk in there. I didn't watch them make it, but that's kind of what it looked and tasted like. I would actually order this again. It was smooth and so... different! Lol~The Strawberry Milk Tea was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. It looks exactly how I wanted it to look like, and it tasted even better!!! The whole thing was just FANTASTIC. It tasted CUTE! That's the only best way that I can put it. It is quite literally what it is called. Strawberry Milk Tea. It's light, refreshing and the flavor/sweetness I found to be right in between the black grape tea and the passionfruit slush. Just. Right. All in all, I obviously had a spectacular experience here and service was cool. I will be back for that strawberry milk tea specifically. Thank you.“
“the boba at sweet heart is pretty good! it's not too sweet and they have various sugar and ice levels you can choose from. i ordered the large sweet heart black milk tea for $5.50. medium drinks are mostly $4.99. they also have smoothies and ice cream. there's usually no line and service is quick. the baristas are friendly and kind. street parking is available right outside the boba shop. overall rating: 10/10“

“Quaint spot in Allston with limited seating. There are self-service kiosks if you don't enjoy interacting with other people like I do.They do take online orders though, so keep that in mind if you're feeling impatient.Took off one star because like another reviewer mentioned, the kiosk defaults to a 5% tip.
