“Honestly can't figure out how this place hasn't opened multiple locations yet. Absolute hidden gem bubble tea with amazing selections. Only complaint I could have is they are in an extremely isolated area but they still seem to always be busy. They do have a dast turn around considering the volume of people who go there.“

Just make sure you stir it to mix all the flavors and sugar.“

A beautiful café that feels so peaceful, considered and thoughtful in its every detail—the perfect place to sit with a friend, or take some time to just be alone and read a book. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). “I went during the opening weekend with the BOGO deal. I got the jasmine milk tea and we also tried the peach oolong milk tea. Overall the teas were a bit more fragrant than what I'm used to at KFT, but the milk/creamer flavor was the same. Seems like a rebranding to match the current Molly Tea trend, which is fair! I wouldn't seek it out but there aren't s ton of options for boba in Harvard Square, so it's a decent one.“

“As a self proclaimed boba enthusiast i absolutely love onezo, they are by no means the best boba I’ve ever had but the convenience of being open till 2 am and their reliably good teas have me coming here all the time. I will say their Thai tea is actually incredible, get a 70% sugar Thai tea if you want to taste something amazing. Also always order less ice!
Their tea is a little inconsistent and the boba is sometimes super fresh but sometimes stale. Their boba to straw size ratio is perfect.“

“It was our first time visiting Grandma’s Kitchen. We arrived 5 minutes early Friday evening and there was a short line already. There are only a handful of tables so it’s worth coming early to get seating right away.

We tried the popcorn chicken, bean curd, chicken cutlet, braised beef noodle, spicy wonton, and salted pork chop. The fried chicken dishes were definitely the standouts. The chicken cutlet was especially well seasoned and flavored. The beef noodle broth was also quite good. The spicy wontons were solid but didn’t wow me. The salted pork chop I thought was a little tough. I would order the fried chicken dishes and beef noodle again in a heartbeat but probably not the wontons or salted pork chop.

The service was on point and the server was very friendly. There atmosphere was very nice. It was relatively quiet and very open which was a nice change from many places that are super loud and pack people in like sardines.

Definitely worth a try and I look forward to coming back.“

“I stopped by on a Sunday and a following Saturday, and had a nice visit both times. The atmosphere was cozy, with some nice jazzy music playing in the shop, and between my visits I tried three different drinks. A Strawberry Sparkle, an Oreo Milk Slush (my favorite of the three), and a Taro Milk Tea w/ Mango Popping Bubbles. I also had a Chicken Katsu Noodles dish, and a Oreo Towel Cake Roll to eat, and everything was good and tasty.

As for what to expect inside, the tea shop has a two kiosks you can order from, or you can go up to the counter to place your order instead if you like. There is a good amount of seating available in the main area, and a side-hall with some additional seating and the restroom at the end. If you choose dine-in they'll bring out your food and drinks to you in nice glasses and bowls on a tray, and if you want take-out they've got the usual bubble tea cups and containers you'd expect for things like the drinks and food so you can easily take things to go.

“It's a small location. They are practicing social distancing with mask and take out only. We tried the new mojitos drinks which was mixed berry, mango Orange, and grapefruit citrus. They were all so favorful and sweet. There was pieces of fruit and mint in all of them . They were all carbonated. Service was good and price was reasonable“

They have a roomy downstairs bar that was perfect for hosting my book launch party. “This hidden gem is located on the Boston University campus more close to the gas station, a Target and a new restaurant called Ziggy’s. They do sell boba but I want to take a moment to show appreciation to their macarons. My personal favorite is the fruity cereal. As you can see, look how pretty it looks and taking a bite it is sweet, satisfying and it just makes you happy. I know for me it made me happy. I believe they do buy it from a third party but it is delicious and worth it. If you look at my first picture they do display their pricing and to be upfront it does show “Buy 5 and get one free” however they do not ring it up like that and ring it up as you bought a total of six macarons. So for me, I could argue if I wanted to but I learned for myself that I’m willing to pay all six and the rest of their flavors (vanilla, birthday cake (both a pink & blue)) are tasty and satisfying. I have tried the dark chocolate macaron and it was okay. If you are one of those people that enjoys dark chocolate but want a subtle sweetness then that one is for you. I have tried their Italian soda (the lemon one to be exact) and it was delicious as well. If you want a “healthy option” they do offer Italian soda and their flavors. On the last picture you can see their drinks, pricing and boba options. My daughter and I enjoy this boba shop and it is welcoming and warm atmosphere. I just wished this establishment was more closer to home but I’m willing to travel.“

“Ten One Tea House is a boba spot that has multiple locations around the Boston area, with a large selection of fruit teas, slushes, and milk teas.

We came during the afternoon on a weekend, and the place was packed but not too overwhelming. There wasn't many staff on hand, but they were still working hard to get boba orders out quickly, and we got ours within 5-10 minutes.

The boba was pretty good, not too sweet or watery, with a good amount of boba that didn't overwhelm the tea. We tried both the brown sugar milk tea and the mango slush. I think the mango slush was the highlight, as the toppings it came with went really well with the drink.

Overall, a great boba shop and place to visit on Newbury Street.“
