“Best boba in Harvard Square! Would reccomend. The drinks are very tasty, staff is accommodating to changes, they always provide quick service.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options. Staff knew how to make the drink vegan and which drinks could not be made vegan, oat milk was a great replacement.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan, they were very accommodating and knowledgeable. They have oat milk!“
“Only like 5 seats inside but good street view from them. The grapefruit green tea is really good. Got it with no ice and 25% sugar and it was still a cool and sweet drink on a blistering day.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. You have to go up some outdoor steps to enter the shop.“

“Dado is the best kept secret in Cambridge. A beautiful café that feels so peaceful, considered and thoughtful in its every detail—the perfect place to sit with a friend, or take some time to just be alone and read a book. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). The food is really tasty (I could never go past their egg-salad sandwich; my partner loves the bibimbap wrap), and Dado, of course, has an amazing selection of teas. More than just feeding the body, all the meals felt like they were nourishing the soul. Just good honest cooking—maybe the rarest of things today. We’re about to leave Harvard this semester, and one of the great things we’ll miss is Dado.“

“As someone who has searched for the best boba in Harvard Square since 2017, I am telling you this is the best spot. It's the classic standby. It's been here for years and it will continue to last, no matter how many other bubble tea shops open (and inevitably close) in the rest of the square. It's consistent, it's very decent boba and tea, it has a nice big menu and great weekday specials, and it's pretty fast.
Ten One is expensive, overcrowded, and inconsistent quality-wise, with a limited menu and slow service; the only thing it has better than Kung Fu is their branding. Tiger Sugar is terrible; the last time I got milk foam there, I could literally see it curdling in my tea.“

“Adorable little café with indoor and outdoor seating behind the café. There is a limited amount of parking out front and they close around 6:30 so the parking ends around the time that they close. The store is fully accessible, they have a wide variety of looseleaf tea as well as Stash bagged tea. I got the Genmai cha.
I did one of the Bento boxes with pulled pork, tea eggs, edamame, rice, and veggies. It is absolutely delicious but definitely a little pricey. It was $19 for my tea and my food. But I do love the cafe and the people are super kind.
There is also a lot of knitting work that is for sale. Somebody there makes scarves and hats and such.
I really appreciate that they have notes all over the store and on the front door and on there to go bags reminding customers that they are going to be closed from August 26 until September 9. I really appreciate it when a business does right by their customers and make sure that they know That the place is open or closed. Thank you!
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs“

“One Zo has quickly become my go-to spot for a delicious and refreshing beverage. Their bubble tea is a delightful blend of flavors and textures, with chewy variety of bubbles adding a fun element to every sip. The tea itself is always brewed to perfection, and the sweetness level is customizable to your preference.
I've also tried their mango milkshake, which is a creamy and decadent treat. The mango flavor is rich and authentic, making it the perfect pick-me-up on a hot day. The quality and taste definitely justify the cost. If you're in the mood for a satisfying drink, I highly recommend giving One Zo a try.“

“Tea is very good but the green milk matcha standards vary. For instance today the matcha was totally separated from the milk and this tasted weird. They need better tea specialists.“

“This place is awesome! Everyone is really friendly. Very patient and helpful with picking the right drink for you. And the drinks are amazing! My son loves the Oreo crumble. I like the lychee when I want sweet and just got the Oolong one that is recommended on here. I love it! We also got some spring rolls that are excellent. I’m so happy to have found this place!“
“Let me start out by saying BEST HONEYDEW MILK TEA EVER!! Seriously, I have tried A LOT of milk tea in my day and what I ordered from sweet boba was the best milk tea I’ve had hands down. I am so excited that Sweet Boba is here! The staff is so kind and it’s such a nice experience. I will definitely be going here a lot!“

“Really adorable cafe with real chocolate used in their hot chocolate!
I wish they had more options of unsweetened tea, as jasmine green is the only true no sugar tea they offer.
I got the strawberry lime green tea but I know it has a lot of suga. Also, because they have no plain green tea, everything that you order also has the jasmine flavor to it. I really did not like the strawberry lime jasmine flavor. I would have enjoyed just strawberry lime.
I ordered the ruby hot chocolate with soy milk as well. It’s supposed to look reddish, so I wonder if this is in fact the ruby. It tastes good but mostly just sweet. Not super chocolatey.
Also, there are two steps to enter, and they are pretty big, zero handicapped parking nearby, and almost no parking in general.
The waitress was super friendly, and the decor is super beautiful!
I just think maybe my order is wrong? Is this ruby chocolate?
Wheelchair accessibility: Two steps. Not accessible,“

“My 2 girlfriends and I came to Esmai's Cafe for a girls' catchup on a Tuesday night at 6PM. Reservations were easy to make online. Meter parking was plentiful nearby. We were seated right away.
I remember this place as Hops n' Scotch and honestly, I think they really improved the space! The ambience was nicer, more posh, and the decor was super cute.
The service was quick, helpful, and very nice. We were checked in with often and made sure we were happy with the food. The menu of drinks and food were really interesting!
We got the:
- Spill the Tea mocktail - the rose tea was very subtle but tasty and aromatic, it was really pleasant and came in a pretty glass
- Hot Egg Coffee - VERY sweet (which I LOVE) it might be too sweet for some... but personally I LOVED the first sip which was sugar overload heaven XD
- Cold Egg Coffee (yes we got both!) - tasted great, almost like a bubble tea without the boba, the Vietnamese coffee is strong and sweet, which I like
- Banh Mi + Bone Marrow - a must get! this Vietnamese charcuterie board was very creative and DELISH!!! I loved the pate with the bone marrow on top of the toast - the bone marrow was melt in my mouth deliciousness, and then I made a separate toast with the pate, cold cuts and pickled veggies. this app was a winner for me
- Mini Beef Wellington - this was SO GOOD!!! Since there were 3 of us, we each got 1 mini beef wellington and the meat inside was so surprisingly tender!! And then the outside pastry was nice and flaky, and I kept wanting more and more of the sauce - this honestly was my favorite dish of the night
- Escargot - this was good and some of the pieces were nice and plump but I did prefer the other two apps above
- Grilled Octopus - I thought the octopus was very tasty and moist, the poached Asian pear salad was a nice addition
- Lemongrass Chicken Salad - the salad is pretty standard, but actually the lemongrass chicken was very juicy and flavorful
- Smoked Fried Rice - this was my friend's favorite dish, she really liked the smokiness of it, and I thought the fried shrimp egg roll was so creative
- Loco Moco - this was SO TASTY!!!! every component of this dish was good and balanced everything else, from the Japanese hamburger and its mushroom gravy sauce over the rice, the yolk oozing out of the fried egg on top, then cutting a piece of the spam on the side and then the macaroni salad and carrots and finishing with some fruit - this was my favorite entree and my 2nd fave dish after the Mini Beef Wellington
- Creme Brulee - this was so yummy and not too sweet, the right creaminess and so easy to eat, we finished it easily
- Matcha Lava Cake - SUPER DECADENT and again, I have a MAJOR sweet tooth, so I LOOOOOOVED this lava cake! It was oozing and the sauce with the cake and a bit of strawberry were PERFECT... and then you discover the matcha and it's a nice surprise! I was in chocolate heaven ^__^
Portions were really perfect for our party of 3 but we got waaayyyyyyy too much and we were STUFFED. We had to box the rest of the fried rice and loco moco. I recommend finishing the bone marrow right away though since when it cools down, it'll gel up.
Even if you're full, I'd say make room for dessert. If you're a dessert fan, both the matcha lava cake and creme brulee were worth it! But if you only had to choose one and you DO have a sweet tooth, I'd recommend getting the lava cake :)
All in all, a VERY successful and delicious night out with my friends. We were never rushed and it wasn't very crowded (albeit it was a Tuesday night), so we were able to chat for a while and really enjoy our food and drinks.
I would definitely come back and bring more friends, try out their creative cocktails next time, or maybe even come for a date night ;)
I highly recom“

“The interior is cozy, and it was pretty lively on a holiday afternoon.
- Matcha Cream Puff ($5): The shell had a nice crunch (I would have liked a harder crunch, but that just comes down to preference), and there was plenty of matcha cream, but the level of sweetness made it not overwhelming.
- Corn Milk with Pandan (Sữa Bắp Lá Dứa) ($7.75): This is the only place I’ve found around here that sells this. It was tasty. A little thick but smooth and sweet but refreshing. They offer an ice bag if you aren’t able to refrigerate or drink it within thirty minutes.
Service was friendly. My only complaint is that the prices are high, but I was satisfied with the taste.“

Highly recommend the Vermicelli Bowl, Fresh Spring Roll, Banh Mi, Kumquat Ai Yu Lemon Basil Seed drink, Peach Tea, Ube Flaming Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée drink, Macarons, and Vietnamese Fermented Yogurt!! “A great boba spot in Boston!
The staff here was super helpful in helping me customize my drink. I wanted a not-too-sweet milk tea with brown sugar boba (bsb). While the fresh milk bsb drink doesn’t have an adjustable sugar level, the worker guided me to order the Ten One Milk Tea, adjust the sugar to my preference, and then add bsb. It was perfect—exactly what I was looking for.
Both the tea and bsb flavors were great. The boba was qq and had that intrinsic brown sugar flavor. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that some of the boba were stuck together. Also, there’s no seating options inside.
Other than that, I was very impressed with the clean interior, free tea samples, and the cute insulated carrier bag (only 25 cents!).
Overall, I’ll be back for more boba!

“Food and service here are amazing. The food here is cooked by a lovely Taiwanese ahma so it is clearly authentic Taiwanese food! This makes me miss the food at home. 非常道地又好吃 yummyyyy. The popcorn chicken was also crispy and the spice was just right. Braised beef noodle soup was tender and melts in your mouth. Overall I had a great experience and will come back soon for more!“

“Fresh brown sugar boba in a refreshing milk tea.
- Milk Tea drink was flavor spot on, not overly tea flavor and maybe slightly milk forward
- Boba is on the sweeter side and the texture was 10/10 for me, soft and chewy and freshly warm
Recommend shaking it up before drinking.
I haven't tried their fruit teas yet, so I'm looking forward to coming back to try their fruit tea options.“

“I have been to many milk tea places, but this one is my favorite. The staff are very very kind, & the interior is comfortable & calm. The milk tea is very good with a variety of flavors; the food is quite good as well when I have come here for dinner with friends (my favorite is the popcorn chicken snack). The air is calm & the electronic menus offer many options for customizing drinks. Stepping in when I'm on Moody gives a welcoming, homely feeling that I haven't found in other spots.“

“Super Emoji is a Boba shop located in the heart of Newbury Street, located in a little area that is populated by other boba shops. Super Emoji stands out from the rest by selling meals and other snacks, such as Xiao Long Bao, Shaved Ice, and other desserts.
The service is fast and quick, though it did take some time to make the shaved ice. There is a kiosk for self ordering, but the one we picked was out of order with no indication that it wasn't working. The atmosphere is alright, it was a hot day but it wasn't too warm inside.
We got the grapefruit slush, lemon iced tea, and a chocolate shaved ice. The teas were alright, pretty standard when compared to other locations. The chocolate shaved ice was ok sized for the price, which could only be found by going online to look at their ChowBus menu, or through the rotating screens up behind the counter. The chocolate shaved ice was light and melted in the mouth quickly, while the additional toppings were good.
Overall it was a decent experience, but they need to print updated menus for their new food offerings, as it only lists drinks.“

“Recommended by my daughter to this place for their Taiwanese style fried chicken steak & tenders. We ordered both the fried chicken steak and crispy chicken bits with rice coated batter. “This hidden gem is located on the Boston University campus more close to the gas station, a Target and a new restaurant called Ziggy’s. They do sell boba but I want to take a moment to show appreciation to their macarons. My personal favorite is the fruity cereal. As you can see, look how pretty it looks and taking a bite it is sweet, satisfying and it just makes you happy. I know for me it made me happy. I believe they do buy it from a third party but it is delicious and worth it. If you look at my first picture they do display their pricing and to be upfront it does show “Buy 5 and get one free” however they do not ring it up like that and ring it up as you bought a total of six macarons. So for me, I could argue if I wanted to but I learned for myself that I’m willing to pay all six and the rest of their flavors (vanilla, birthday cake (both a pink & blue)) are tasty and satisfying. I have tried the dark chocolate macaron and it was okay. If you are one of those people that enjoys dark chocolate but want a subtle sweetness then that one is for you. I have tried their Italian soda (the lemon one to be exact) and it was delicious as well. If you want a “healthy option” they do offer Italian soda and their flavors. On the last picture you can see their drinks, pricing and boba options. My daughter and I enjoy this boba shop and it is welcoming and warm atmosphere. I just wished this establishment was more closer to home but I’m willing to travel.“

“202410
A Taiwanese friend recommended winter melon lemon. I ordered osmanthus lemon honey + white pearl half sugar (the lowest price for machine ordering is half sugar). After removing the ice, it was the first time that the ice was removed so thoroughly. The drink was almost room temperature. It was so funny that the pearls were so cute that I didn’t think I drank it. It smells like osmanthus, but overall it tastes good. There are some seats in the store.“

“This was my first time at a bubble tea place in probably 10 years. There are a LOT more options now and the employee was so kind and patient, answering all of my questions and explaining the options. She even recommended using the computerized ordering system if I wanted to see photos. The Shared Tea lets you customize everything down to how much ice you want and how sweet you want your drink (great accommodation for those on special diets.) My lychee tea came with chunks of crushed lychee in it and was really delicious.
Dietary restrictions: The Shared Tea lets you customize how sweet you want your drink, from 0% to 125% sweetness. This is a great option for those on reduced sugar diets!“

Dessert came in a cute glass jar, I can see myself re-using it for something else.
Price was closer to $13.
I think it is a decent sized dessert.
Taste.
I thought the creaminess of the of the jelly was smooth, good, and refreshing. There’s a strong aroma of coconut not artificial which surprised me. The rice is also spot on!
Overall not too sweet. Slightly on the higher price but compared to Mango Mango? Gong cha? It’s about normal AND you get a cute mason jar.“
