“I stopped in after dinner with my date to finally try this place out and we were blown away.

First off: the flavors are amazing. They are both well thought of combinations and absolutely high quality products. This is artisan level ice cream. It is very dense and rich. It kind of reminds me of Italian gelato in a way. I loved the cones as well. You can order a 1, 2, or 3 scoop in a cone or cup. Or cone kind of looking thing in a cup.

The staff here was super nice and friendly. Thank you for your professionalism! I love the atmosphere of the store and it was very modern, clean, and intriguing. I wanted a cone as soon as I walked in.

Price wise, be prepared for expensive ice cream. In my opinion it was worth the purchase for how exceptionally better it was than the vast majority of places I’ve tried around town.

“Today a group of us visited Gerly’s ice cream and we were most pleasantly impressed by the real freshness of the flavors like everything stood out. Nothing was muddled. The bananas were real. The fig was real. The goat cheese was real. It just was so natural tasting. We also really enjoyed talking with the “man behind the counter.” He said he was a cousin of the owner. He was super knowledgeable and informed us about the ice cream workshops and about how people from near and far came for the nut free ice cream options. I would really like the decor and the interior of the store to match the richness and decadence of the ice cream itself. The look of the store does not quite match the awesomeness of the ice cream. Please try this ice cream… it is so good! Some of the best ice cream I have ever had!“

“It was really cute shop and I liked the ice cream. I walked down to the Kennedy Greenway and took in the skyline views with it. Great night!

I took off one star cause the ice cream is close to being perfect, but not quite. The cookie dough ice cream just simply didn’t have enough cookie dough bites in it. We all know those are the best part so what are we skimping for!

The cake batter ice cream had too many sprinkles for my taste. It’s already a very sweet flavor so it would be nice to have the option to add sprinkles instead.

On the other hand, the fruit and sorbet style flavors were perfection!

Last point, the employees all seemed like they hated their lives here. I respect that ofc cause I’ve worked many jobs that I hate, but it gave me the sense something could be done behind the scenes to make it a better work environment.

“Toscanini's has been my favorite ice cream spot for over 20 years. Even as I've moved around and lived in other cities, I always make a point to visit whenever I'm back in the Boston area. But a recent experience cemented my loyalty for life.

On Presidents' Day, our family showed up around 5 pm, not realizing the shop was closed for the holiday. When we couldn't open the door, we started knocking, thinking it was just stuck. Gus, the owner, came out and let us know they were closed for the day, but then asked us what we were looking for. We told him we were hoping to grab a pint, and he told us to wait just a moment. A few minutes later, he came back with a big bag full of different pints and let us walk away with two of them, suggesting we could come back and pay another day when they were actually open (or perhaps he didn't care!). We came back and paid two weeks later.

“Went for some pizza. Order at the counter got three slices to split with hubby. Proper pepperoni-pepperoni pizza with burrata and hot honey (my favorite one) Cheese and Milanese- cheese pizza with chicken cutlet and red peppers. We also wanted to try the arancini- made with prosciutto instead of ground beef. You can take it to go but we decided to stay and eat. Beautifully decorated. The owner Stefano was so nice and checked on us to see if we needed anything. As we were leaving we stopped at the gelato counter and got a gelato to go. I had the oreo. Soooo good! “What I love about Van Leeuwen is that it's the only Ice Cream store that's open late. After dinner in the Seaport with 3 friends we decided to go get Ice Cream. It was 10pm and Van was the only late night Ice Cream store in the Seaport. That was very helpful and we all order a triple scoop. It's also the best tasting ice cream in the neighborhood.“

“I went to Michele's to buy too ice creams totaling 16 dollars and something cents plus a 3 dollar tip ..I have my little shitzoo with me my sandy was thirsty because it's hot and muggy out side so I asked the girl if I could have a small cup of ice water for my dog and she tells the price of the water was 2.50 I said for tap water and she saids yes we're low on ice so I said just give me a small cup of tap water without ice for my dog and I will pay for the cup ..the manager turns around and saids no we can't do that... so I ask him why your not dog friendly or you don't like dogs he then tells me he has no tap water ..what a joke...then he said his brother is the manager and he needs to follow the rules so I said to him your going to lose a customer and get a bad review on yelp over a small cup of tap water and he said yes so here we are ....he just lost a customer over tap water I am a dog lover my dog goes everywhere with me and I never had a problem going to any other place for tap water for my dog so this brings me to one conclusion that they don't care for animals and any place that don't like animals I don't want anything to do with so all you animal lovers don't go to Michele's ice cream because there are so many icecream places around the surrounding areas that are pet friendly...shame on you guys ..“

“Kyo Matcha is a newly opened Matcha and other flavor dessert spot located near the HMart of Brookline.

I came here during the grand opening and other subsequent times, and the lines were out the door. There is outdoor seating, but it felt a little congested with how the line moved. Inside there is a few photo op areas but it's mainly indoor seating.

The service was fast and efficient, and the food came out quickly. The staff were understanding to any allergies and were accommodating with replacements on the menu.

The food was of decent quality, but could've been better. I tried the Matcha Crepe Layer Cake, the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Cap Cake, and Parfait with Matcha Ice Cream.

The Matcha Crepe Layer Cake was really good, very light and fluffy with a soft texture. The Brown Sugar Milk Cap cake was a little on the heavier side, with the sweetness of the boba being a bit overwhelming for me, but still enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the Matcha Parfait, however I saw in photos that there should be two layers of ice cream, one on the bottom and one on top. When I received mine, there was barely any on the bottom, instead it was packed with the toppings. This didn't really bother me but it did make it only toppings once I finished the layer of Matcha ice cream on top.

The prices here are a bit on the expensive side for desserts, but comparable to other matcha dessert places.“

“This place is often the go to for sweets or just celebrating a hot summer day in our house. We adore their Halloween event and have gone to it for years now. They are very community oriented and it shows. The mini golf course is a little dated but perfectly fun-ctional. My daughter enjoys puttering around in it and it's a lovely family activity. We got the infamous Sho-Gun Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve Mix With Edible 24K gold , Maiko Special (Parfait) Hojicha/Strawberry Mix Soft Serve and Matcha Latte Float. Everything was so rich in favor. The matcha favor is probably the best that I had so far. You can taste the quality of the soft serve. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny. Definitely, need to try them out“

The stand appears to be staffed by school-aged children with this as a 1st job opportunity. They were eager to assist and relatively quick. The location also appears to have ample parking with at least 3 service windows. I'd visit again.“
