Used to go there a lot. The owner would cash my paychecks for me and the bartenders would buy me a beer or two every other visit. They loved having repeat customers and fun. So many people to talk to once you spent some time. Later on some odd late night bar tenders had attitude but the owner always took it to heart when I'd tell him about less than polite customer service.
I have many warmly indelible & endearing memories of the thousands of times that I dropped a substantial portion of my weekly paycheck into Malachy's, as such amazing expenditures proved very much worth it (at least 97% of the time)??
