“Perfect little spot to go after the aquarium. In walking distance. My fiance and our little birthday girl came in from Wareham today. The birthday girl was fussy at first. But our server was fantastic. We sat outside. Beautiful little spot. Food was good. Service was quick. Prices were typical for the city area. And the server gave our birthday girl a miniature yellow rubber ducky which cheered her up quick 😊 Thanks for a lovely lunch Granary Tavern!!“

“I’ve only ordered takeout from the Allston location before, but I was so pleased with the experience here. really chill, good music, great service, and amazing food. Highly recommend the burger and sitting on the outside patio before the weather gets too cold. Will definitely be back to enjoy again“

“Super delicious food and fresh ingredients! It's a small menu, but everything is very well curated. I highly recommend the shrimp taco, cheese rice cake, and the legendary burger. Most importantly, a HUGE shout-out to the manager, Valley—a very nice and warm guy who listens and caters to all your needs. Thank you!“

“Food was good, didn't care that White Bull charged for each and every soft-drink individually. After long walks through the city, it was nice to sit down and have something to eat and drink, but when they charge for each soft-drink, major turn-of-opinion. Likely would not return again simply for that reason. When you have kids and all they can drink are soft-drinks, becomes too expensive for something so simple....“

“Definitely worth visiting if you enjoy good pub food and local beer. The menu has an excellent variety with something for everyone, and the selection of local beers is fantastic. Our food was wonderful, fresh, and very flavourful. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. Everything came together for a really enjoyable experience. It’s a great place to relax, have a meal, enjoy a few drinks, and spend time with friends.

“I only had the opportunity to have a single drink here. It was an old fashioned, which is so eady to make, but still usually screwed up. This was definitely a very good one, almost worth the ~$19 price. I will be back.
But speaking of backs, none of the seats have them -- those of us with back problems can't sit comfortably for long. Hence the three stars instead of five on atmosphere.“

“Listen the only reason I can see someone leaving a bad review is if you got your butt kicked in a game of connect four against the bartender and your salty about it. Honestly the food and drink is on point! Especially the chicky tendies and shoestring French fries! Every food item I have ate has been fantastic though. Sam, Kim and everyone involved are great. I am assuming any negative reviews are from patrons who caused the problem. 🤷🏻♂️ Highly recommend! I regularly commute from Roslindale to patron this establishment for good food, good vibes and amazing experience! Thank you to the entire Four Square team for always being a welcoming, friendly and great place to frequent!“

“I went there on 05/20/26 with my family for my dad’s birthday, and it was amazing, we had a great time. I’d like to thank specially to Sarah who helped me set up decoration for the party, she was awesome. Definitely a memory to never forget about that day“

“Left another place to come here because the customer service was bad. What a 180. Citizen staff was friendly, great w/suggestions and helped secure me a seat at their busy bar. Had two great cocktails and a delicious pepper seared filet. Well done Citizen Pub!! I will be back!“
