“I have been going to JP Licks for years. I was telling the young lady who was serving us. That I use to come to JP Lick when I was in high school. And JP Licks was the only place that made me smile when I was happy, sad , mad or even upset. “We had an amazing experience! This is one of the best and most special kosher restaurant we have ever been to!! What a unique and special place. We had the cochin white fish, fried fish, and salmon pkaila. We also had the pickles, two great cocktails, and the napoleonka. Everything was unbelievably delicious. They have fabulous flavors and creativity and we loved how all of the dishes had explanations and connections to Jewish tradition. Our service was also excellent! Mike the server explained everything clearly and was very conscientious about allergies. My one complaint would be that portions of the appetizers could have been a little larger because I wanted more!“

“I would recommend Blackers Bakeshop to everyone. This is a fantastic bakery where there is great service and great food. It’s amazing that they have all of these dairy free options that taste as if they’re actually is dairy.
The sourdough bread is Absolutely incredible, their cakes and Other pastries are also amazing very well priced taste amazing go and check this place out. I promise you’ll definitely not regret it.“

“I tried this place yesterday for the first time and I am so impressed! So far I’ve had the tabbouleh, the Israeli salad, baked fish with veggies, challah and chocolate babka and they were all so, go good! I still have frozen soups and a mushroom pot pie to try and can’t wait to eat my way through them this week for lunch. The fish was so good I can hardly believe it was frozen. My daughter kept asking for bites so I will be sure to buy multiple next time. I’ve been meaning to try this place and wish I’d gotten here sooner. They are gluten and dairy free and mostly meat free as well. A lot of their ingredients are organic and they use quality oil. They were telling me while I was there that they grind some of their flours in house. You can taste the quality! It’s so nice to have a safe, healthy and DELICIOUS option for take out! This place is worth the trip and I will absolutely be back. 😊“

“Honestly, this place is fire. Best açaí bowls in Cambridge and it’s not even close. Everything is always fresh and they never miss.

Marley and Yesica are always super friendly, welcoming and always seem to be in a good mood.

“I grew up coming to Rami’s with my family but haven’t lived in Boston for a long time. I’ve been in Brookline with some time for lunch twice in the last few months and have come in both times. It’s just as good as I remembered.

Today, I ordered the shawarma, hummus, falafel, salad plate, and it tasted just as good as it looked. And the longtime owners are friendly, good people.

Tl;dr: Great neighborhood business that has been around forever and continues to serve excellent fast casual Israeli food.“
