“It's a nightclub, bowling alley, and bar all in one. The feeling you get is unlike what you expect…. It is filled with staff that is welcoming, smiling bartenders, and the perfect playlist that kept us dancing from the moment we walked in. It's clear that from the drinks to the hiring process, the people in charge care about the details. It's not just about making money. It's no surprise why this place is so successful. Incredible job to everyone who works Saturdays our wholethe crew had a fantastic time.“
“Possibly the best biscuits I've had to go with excellent brisket and pulled chicken and the biggest chicken tenders around. All the meat was flavorful, tender and juicy and the tenders were perfectly fried to a crisp, rich exterior. And can't leave out the broccoli and cheese with crushed Ritz crackers (in a separate container to keep them crunchy).“
“Well done Smoke Shop, East Boston! I absolutely recommend it!I had lunch there today with two others. The food and service were excellent and the location is stunning! It was a sunny day so the sun was sparkling on the water :)) The restaurant is large enough to handle a crowd, yet intimate enough to enjoy it solo or as a couple. Between the three of us we ordered the Pitmaster Salad, Pulled Chicken Sandwich w/ Pit Beans, and the Pitmaster BBQ which includes two choices of meats and two choices of sides. I ordered the Burnt Ends and Pulled Chicken w/ Brussels Sprouts (w/ onion jam), and Zucchini Salad sides. The meats were cooked to perfection. It melted in your mouth and nothing was overly-sauced - just right! The Zucchini Salad was addicting. It had a nice dressing that added wonderful flavor to the salad. The Brussels Sprouts were tender and onion jam was the perfect compliment. If you're looking for a salad then the Pitmaster Salad is for you. It has a great balance of sweet and savory. It is great on its own or you can choose one of the meats as an add on... and you can never go wrong with their sandwiches. They are great anytime, anywhere! A big shout-out to Andy and Maria for making our afternoon so wonderful and memorable!“
“The amount of food they serve you is crazy! You definitely get your moneys worth AND they cook the meat for you. The waitress we had was hilarious and talked with us like old friends. If you’re a fool like me and my friends you might confuse the menu thinking all of it is $175 per person but that’s just for the grand tour. Maybe the prices seemed great after thinking we’d each have to pay $175!“
“Exactly the Americanized Chinese food I was looking for. Beef and broccoli was my favorite. Very solid pork fried rice. Peking ravs were the fried kind that are drier on the outside- not my style but still juicy and tasty inside. Crab Rangoon was crispy and delicious but abandoned any thought of crabbiness.“
“Wonderful BBQ! I’ve been dying for certain local places but they aren’t open for lunch. Reunion BBQ is nearby so we stopped in for some takeout lunch. The owner is so kind and friendly. We got a bucket of biscuits and a two meat tray to try. The ribs are AMAZING. Smoky and tender. The best BBQ sauce I’ve ever had on the side. The chopped brisket is the best I’ve had. Literally the best. Really good coleslaw and beans. And the biscuits with the sweet butter are unreal. You have to try this place. I’m very picky and I’ll be back here often. And live music on Friday nights!Kid-friendliness: Really nice space for families. Definitely bring the kids. They’ll love it.“
“Why can I not order wings on the Doordash app? I can order everything else but NOT wings??The food is great, service could be better.Multiple times I stopped by during lunch for wings and their excuse was "No wings right now, check back at 2 pm". I did check back after the recommended time and still no wings.. ridiculous .. A real hit or miss if you stop by the TD HUB a lot for lunch.Main reason for this review is to add "wings" as an option to order PICKUP on the Doordash app.“
“Friendship BBQ is my go-to spot for mouthwatering barbecue in Boston. The food here never disappoints. The brisket is tender, and the sauces are a flavor explosion. Quick service and affordable prices make it even better. I keep coming back for more!“
“The cold noodles and sauce were the perfect companion to all the skewers we ordered. I'm not really a meat eater so it all kinda blended together, but each one I had tasted good and had a good texture! The crawfish was really lovely and tasty and the special lamb skewers were ?.“
“If you want some real Cantonese Chinese food and roasted meat in Dorchester area, this is the place. If you are super hungry, the 3 meat delights will fill any stomach. Huge portions of meats on top of a container full of rice. Salt and pepper squid and porchop or shrimps with rice, fish and tofu with rice, and black pepper beef are some of my favorites. Everything is very flavorful. This place is takeout only since COVID pandemic.Cash only.“
“Roasted duck with duck sauce was phenomenal - the authenticity I’ve been looking for! They only accept cash and there is a slight language barrier, but very nice and friendly people. This is the 3rd duck place I’ve had in China town and is by far the most authentic and flavorful duck I’ve had. They don’t have rice plates, but the roasted meat here is very good!“
“This place is surely one of the finest place to eat in the region. Anytime I come to this place I am incredibly happy. They always keep their high standard service and the highest level of food they give. You surely will enjoy this this place. Very recommended.“
“The pizza is so delicious. If you're visiting Korea, you should definitely order pizza here. It's so delicious. A huge pizza costs $20 haha. This is the first time I tried reasonable food during my 10-day trip to Boston.the pizza is so delicious , big and price is soooo good!!! I strongly recommend this restaurant!!!!“
“Ordered Steak n Cheese. DELICIOUS!! have ordered from competitors, Stevie's, Simco's Boston House Of Pizza and Mattapan House Pizza who use to have good Steak and Cheese, but they gave changed to a grade of meat that appears to have the texture and appearance of ground beef. ICK!!!! They get no more of my $$$$.Also, Vikos Pizza reminds me of old school Pizza using real cheeses, not watered down tomato sauce (again like those same competitors I mentioned previously) and not lathered with something that tast like Parmesan Cheese.Last, I live the mom and pop setting.Vikos, keep doing what yout doing?Don't change a thing.“
“First of all, simply disregard all the one star ratings. I live a walk away, and kinda sorta know the neighborhood. The poor ratings are generally from non-yelpers, tourists looking for BBQ, or someone who had a beef with the service. pssst: Or a competitor. This establishment is owned and operated by a Greek couple who has been doing this for 30+ years. At one point, apparently during a 1990 TX BBQ fad, the wife sent the husband down to TX for 30 days to learn TX BBQ. They rebranded their sandwich/pizza shop. To my New England palate, the BBQ is okay, but not sensational. That is the downside: "Okay" BBQ. The upside is that this is a couple who has been operating this for 30+ years. It is the "go to" joint for all the employees, lawyers, and judges next door at Dorchester District Court. I'm going with their judgment rather than the fly-by review Yelpers. The sandwiches are good, the pizza (depending upon your sensitivity) is fine, and the value sensational. It is a Dorchester sandwich/pizza joint, don't get me wrong. But it is this couple's dream, and, hey, it's pretty f***ng good!“
“I absolutely love this spot! My favorite bbq in the city if I'm being honest. Portions are amazing, always have leftovers! Service is amazing and they will answer any questions you have! Plus, outdoor seating is the best in the summer!“
“We stopped for a very late dinner. We had the Chillis Gueritos, San Felipe, and the Tampico. The food was creative and good. It was not really sushi. The rolls we chose lacked real fish, and we did not see much sushi fish on the menu. But, the flavors and preparation were excellent. Wanted to try their civiche, bet it was great. The ambiance was excellent.Kid-friendliness: Yes, but we were alone in the restaurant.“
“We live a few blocks away, but moved to the neighborhood during Covid so it took a while for us to eat here. This is a buffet style steak house, where you pay by the pound. While it's nothing fancy, it is cute, clean, and everyone is very friendly. You grab a plate, weigh it, get drinks(they have a variety of soft drinks and wine), and pay at the end (I'm assuming so you'll be tempted to have seconds or get one of their beautiful desserts!) The sides range from salads to rice and beans, different stews, and plantains. They even had sushi the last time we were there (??) but we didn't try it. I love the steamed asparagus and the beef stewed with red wine and mushrooms-- so delicious! But, let's be real, you come here for the meat. In the back they have the rotisserie wall with every kind of chicken, sausage, beef, lamb, etc you could possibly imagine. You tell the guy what you want, how you want it cooked, and how much you want (if you don't specify you'll get a mountain of each!). Don't forget to bring a dollar or two to tip the meat man, make sure to ask for some salt which makes the flavors sing, and load up on sides of chimichurri and those tiny peppers (which I put in separate containers so it doesn't add to my per pound weight)!! This place has always been a win, especially if you're looking for a high protein diet. It's reasonably priced for what you get, you can take home your left overs, and the deserts are GREAT (flan, tres leches, rice pudding are all amazing!)!!“
“this is sooooo good, every bite of meat is soft and tender and the biscuits looked mediocre, but tasted perfect. They even thawed out the butter instead of giving me a frozen lump like 99% of restaurants. I will go out of my way to eat here again!“
“Service was outstanding! We were on a semi tight timeline to make an event but they had our table ready and were overly attentive. Drinks and food brought quickly by a variety of staff, with just the right amount of follow up. Will definitely go back for other TD Garden events.“
“Yummy soy garlic wings. Gangnam style was ok. Idk I think something about the sauce made the chicken a little soggy.Service on a Sunday afternoon was crazy slow. There was only one other table and it took 10 mins to place an order and another 10 mins to get the check ?“
“We had a private party at the restaurant. From the first experience with CJ, the event manager, and every step of the way through the actual event, this was an incredible experience - service was incredible, food was amazing and we can't wait to go back for another event in the future. Thank you to CJ and team!!“
