“We had a wonderful time with Chef Jason! We were impressed from start to finish. He was professional and a good human. He had menu selection google meet up w/me prior to my husband's birthday surprise as well as a kitchen walk through to make sure I had all the necessary equipment. Anything I did not have, he offered to bring. The food was delicious, each course built on one another and left us wanting more. Anything we did not eat was packaged up so there was no food waste, which I really appreciated. Leftovers heated up nicely as well. What I loved about this was it was a total surprise to my husband and he kept saying how he never would have gotten this experience and felt this special in a restaurant. Chef Jason made that happen. For the quality of food and professionalism, I thought the price tag was fair and well worth it. I can't say enough good things about this experience and loved working with Chef J! I hope to book another dinner with him in the future!

“East Meets West is my preferred caterer in Boston for several important reasons: their staff, their creative food, their service and... they're fun to work with! First, Kathleen is outstanding at her job. She doesn't miss a beat while she covers every detail to perfection. And she's an incredibly nice person too! I've never had such creative food for my events -- truly a Roaming Burrata Bar with the most engaging server pulling the crowd in to try! Not only was it clever, it was delicious, different and exciting. At the end of the day I know Boston has great caterers, but honestly why would I go anywhere else? The food is always delicious, I always make sure to order a chicken and waffles (and make sure to ask about the specials because their creativity for their waffles is through the roof!). Throw in some other classic comforts like pulled pork, or creative twists like steak and cheese egg rolls, and you'll find there really is something for everyone! I've had the privilege of using them as a catering service, going in with friends for a bite to eat, or grabbing take out and each and every time the service was above and beyond. Their friendly and caring staff and owners really live up to the "Family" name.“

“My family stopped in for breakfast and we all got different breakfast sandwiches. They were all delicious. I had the avacado smash I think it was called. It was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Very much enjoyed the staff's banter while we waited. The staff checked on us several times. 5 stars. Highly recommend!“

“Most don't realize that anyone can eat here. This is a true gem of a cafeteria in the basement of the BU Med student bldg. They serve incredibly great fresh Falafel based dishes and other Mediterranean faire including several vegan options. Absolutely scrumptious. They have a grill with standard various types of burger & fries including delicious vegan burgers. They usually have a variety of fresh soups that includes at least a vegan option. Huge selection of cold drinks in an extensive fridge wall. Anyone can eat here while they are open, but it seems mostly only BMC or BU staff and students are present. Their prices are incredibly affordable and a great value for large satisfying portions.“

“My final breakfast before leaving Boston. Just walking around the Pier and noticed this nice little cafe. We did not regret it--the croissants and breakfast burritos are hot and fresh And it tastes so different from what you are used to. Great family owned place!“

“Gourmet Caterers were the required caterers for our venue the PEM in Salem, and we are so happy we had the opportunity to work with them for our wedding. Ann and Isa from the team were so helpful, getting us organized before the tasting, and adjusting the menus to fit our needs. We had a lot of Gluten Free guests, and they found ways to accommodate this so everyone felt safe with their meals. This is on top of how all of the food was. A special touch was that we were given a separate bride & groom plate to enjoy some of the cocktail hour nibbles on our own. The food at the reception was delicious, including a selection of petit desserts that were to die for. Everyone we talked to loved the food and were so impressed by the level of service that they received from the GC team from the cocktail hour, to the bartenders, to the tableside service. My son knocked the ice cream on the floor and the girl who worked there grabbed us a new one. Great customer service with a 2 or three tables to sit at.
