“We had Jollof rice, Turkey tail, Egusi stew and fufu and fried turkey! It’s the best African food I’ve eaten thus far in Boston! the turkey meat is so tender and other dishes are so flavourful. Worth the find! Customer service is excellent! 🌟🤩🔥💞🙌🏼“

“I had an amazing experience with Moroccan food. The flavors are rich, warm, and full of spices that blend perfectly together. Every dish feels like it’s made with care and tradition. The tagine was tender and full of flavor, and the couscous was light and delicious. I also loved the fresh bread and mint tea — it made the whole experience even better. Moroccan food is not just a meal, it’s a cultural experience. I highly recommend everyone to try it at least once!“

“Incredible food. We went for a date night and were HIGHLY impressed with the quality and flavor. The waitress was also very friendly and helped us with recommendations since it was our first time there. I wish there was one in Providence!!“

“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. “I had a great experience talking with the host. She was very welcoming and nice to talk to. Service was good. Food was good. I asked for some hot pepper last minute she got it for me. I liked how much she took care and considered all my requests.“

“Attended an evening event here on the weekend. The place was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The DJ played good music throughout and there was a large variety of African food for all the guests and well as a dessert platter. The service for drinks was very slow. Parking was easy to find as it's located near a large parking lot.“

“I tried the egusi, jollof rice, fried rice, peppered turkey and chicken. The egusi was top notch, the jollof rice had that 9ja party jollof vibe, the turkey was nice as well, the fried rice needs some more improvement. The food was very affordable, therefore, for the price i thought it was a good value for money.“

“The jollof rice and chicken were so good that I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing in one go because I wanted to save some for later for my husband to try. I'll definitely be back and I'm looking forward to trying some dishes I've never had before!“

“I ordered Afang soup, which was very delicious. This is the only Nigerian restaurant I have found in Boston that sells Afang soup (correct me if I'm wrong).
But my concern is that the portion of the soup is significantly smaller than at other restaurants, and to be honest, I also think it's small for the price. Hopefully, they do something about it.
Overall, the food was good.“
“I get authentic tea leaves for pain and inflammation at Blessing of God.
One day I was really sick and I was looking for natural tea leaves. I found everything from tea leaves for pain, weightloss, Allergies and even the flu.
The owner keeps authentic groceries well stocked as well.“
