“I made a reservation at Obosa Restaurant for my son’s graduation dinner with friend’s & families. Food was excellent, staffs were very pleasant especially Precious who attended to us. Restaurant is clean, price was very reasonable & food presentation was on point. Will definitely visit again when next in Boston area and I highly recommend the restaurant.“

“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. “We had Jollof rice, Turkey tail, Egusi stew and fufu and fried turkey! It’s the best African food I’ve eaten thus far in Boston! the turkey meat is so tender and other dishes are so flavourful. Worth the find! Customer service is excellent! 🌟🤩🔥💞🙌🏼“

“I had an amazing experience with Moroccan food. The flavors are rich, warm, and full of spices that blend perfectly together. Every dish feels like it’s made with care and tradition. The tagine was tender and full of flavor, and the couscous was light and delicious. I also loved the fresh bread and mint tea — it made the whole experience even better. Moroccan food is not just a meal, it’s a cultural experience. I highly recommend everyone to try it at least once!“

“I ordered Afang soup, which was very delicious. This is the only Nigerian restaurant I have found in Boston that sells Afang soup (correct me if I'm wrong).
But my concern is that the portion of the soup is significantly smaller than at other restaurants, and to be honest, I also think it's small for the price. Hopefully, they do something about it.

One day I was really sick and I was looking for natural tea leaves. I found everything from tea leaves for pain, weightloss, Allergies and even the flu.

The owner keeps authentic groceries well stocked as well.“
