About French Quarter

This French Quarter restaurant, near the Opera House and accessible to the "Theater District," "China Town," and parking garages, offers a delightful atmosphere with good jazz music. The service is top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff. The highlight is the amazing Creole cuisine, including the superb shrimp étouffée with a perfect roux and buttery sauce, and the generously sized jambalaya. Portions are ample and very tasty; they don't skimp on the crawfish in the etouffee or proteins in the jambalaya. The shrimp and grits are perfectly portioned, and the fried catfish with red beans and rice is delicious. The Louisiana themed offerings and New Orleans foods are a must-try. Drinks, such as the Crescent City Punch, Bourbon Street, and French 75, are tasty, and the drink selection is also what you'd find in New Orleans. For dessert, the beignets are a must-try, and the pecan pie is delightful. Bananas foster and after dinner cocktails are also recommended. The staff is accommodating, holding tables for late arrivals and packing up leftovers. The restaurant is highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Creole dishes in a welcoming and enjoyable environment.

Great location great food

Came in later in the evening, waitress was very accommodating with the upcoming kitchen close time and getting our orders in. Food was great and staff were very friendly

We ordered what the waiter suggested - 2 appetizers were excellent. We had fried oysters and a crab dip. That filled us up so we proceeded to dessert. Had benne's. that was the only thing that wasn't fabulous. I think I got spoiled in New Orleans. Definitely will return. There were many things on the menu that we will try next time.
