Came to Boston for a work trip, couldn't possibly miss out on a perfect opportunity to try the famous Boston cream pie. We came on a rainy day for lunch, the restaurant was quite empty, so we were seated right away. The whole hotel has a very old classy feel to it, like famous politicians would stay here, but I digress. I got a salad appetizer, scallops with veggies as my entrée, and the Boston cream pie and Crème brûlée to share with my colleague. I was pleasantly full review

I was traveling for business and dined here alone, mid-week, for dinner. The clam chowder was out of this world! It was soooo creamy and rich that I wish I would’ve gotten a bowl instead of the cup. The service was fantastic. The waiters were attentive but not pushy and genuinely caring. The food was good, the architecture was gorgeous, and the service was fantastic. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, quiet dinner.

Wow! Went for an anniversary dinner and we had the best service ever. We felt very special and welcomed. The food was amazing as well. I had the Schrod and it was fantastic. My boyfriend had the Scallop Scampi and again it was delicious. The waiter Francesco surprised us with a Boston Creme Pie desert for our anniversary which we did not expect, but of course came there to try. He also indulged us with history of the hotel and some great stories. The service in general there full review
