We were expecting dinner at the Omni Parker House to be a fine dining experience....to our surprise, the Hotel only uses their white linen table cloth dining room for breakfast and lunch! Instead, we were directed to the pub which is fine ...if you are expecting pub food....instead of the steak we had anticipated we had a mediocre burger. Super cool setting. The French onion soup and Parker rolls were great. Fries were perfectly done. The lobster roll bun and butter were awesome. The lobster was slightly overdone. Overall very good! And convenient that we stayed at the Omni.
I love Parker's restaurant and hadn't been there in a few years. Although not crowded, we were seated at the very first table looking out into the lobby/reception area which was very distracting. The salads are huge there and always a big hit, but after less than 10 minutes after getting our salads, the main courses arrived, which was a salmon and a steak tip so we needed to abandon our salads and eat the main course while hot.
