Vietnam’s revolutionary, Ho Chi Minh, worked in the Parker House bakery. The United States' civil rights leader, Malcolm X, worked as a waiter in the Parker House.
We had an amazing in this place. We enjoyed the wonderful vibes and the menu. The staff were very friendly. I am happy we ultimately managed to visit this spot.
The food is consistently fresh and tasty, staff members hands out great customer service. I really like how clean it is and ambience. Keep up the good work.
I love this place always quality food & service. But the food was pricey.
Menu selection for such a small place was great.
Came to Boston for a work trip, couldn't possibly miss out on a perfect opportunity to try the famous Boston cream pie. We came on a rainy day for lunch, the restaurant was quite empty, so we were seated right away. The whole hotel has a very old classy feel to it, like famous politicians would stay here, but I digress. I got a salad appetizer, scallops with veggies as my entrée, and the Boston cream pie and Crème brûlée to share with my colleague. I was pleasantly surprised that the cream pie wasn't too sweet. It tasted more like a fluffy cake. I could easily eat another one of those! The service was good as you would expect from a restaurant that is located in a hotel of its caliber. Next time I'm back in town I will be paying this restaurant another visit for sure!
I have had chowder all over New England for the past 30 years and I have to say Parker’s has one of the best clam chowders I have had
Best breakfast I've had in a long time! Beautiful atmosphere. Amazing Highly recommended from my side..!! Great.!!
I was traveling for business and dined here alone, mid-week, for dinner. The clam chowder was out of this world! It was soooo creamy and rich that I wish I would’ve gotten a bowl instead of the cup. The service was fantastic. The waiters were attentive but not pushy and genuinely caring. The food was good, the architecture was gorgeous, and the service was fantastic. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, quiet dinner.
Pricy but quite good. Enjoyed the clam chowder & the lobster mac & cheese. Really loved the Boston Cream pie!
I only ate breakfast here but it was beautiful. I had never had Boston Cream Pie, which was invented here, so they served me a small cupcake-sized pie after breakfast. Delicious.
We stayed at the hotel and went to Parker’s just for their signature dessert. The Boston Cream Pie is wonderful. Wish we would have tried a meal in the restaurant as well. Classic decor that takes you back in time.
We dropped in after a Bruins game and dinner in the North End. Very comfortable, relaxed setting - and seating! Had a decaf black coffee and an order of Boston Cream Pie (where it was "invented). I could easily spend time just sitting there.
The birthplace of the Boston Cream Pie and the famous Parker house rolls did not disappoint. Everything was wonderful, from beginning to end, taste, presentation and service were top notch.
The food is fantastic but what sets this restaurant apart from everyone else is the superb service. If you want to feel like royalty, treat yourself to dinner at Parkers!
