“Giulia was amazing. Fantastic service, incredible food. From cocktails and the semolina cake sfizi which was the perfect small bite to start to the three desserts we shared around the table (affogato, orange blossom panda cottage, strawberry semifreddo) that generated debate over which was the favorite, every bite and every sip was thoroughly enjoyed. I will tryntonget a reservation every time we make it back to Boston!“

“We had dinner here for two on a Saturday evening. The vibes inside are warm and lovely. The staff were all very pleasant and our waiter was very knowledgable on the menu.

We got a couple of the pastas for entrees that were good, but weren't too impressive. The real standout for us was the mussels toast appetizer. The flavors were well balanced and complex. Overall a great dining experience.“

“My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary date night! Our waiter Sam provided phenomenal service and the food was outstanding!

Food: We enjoyed everything we ordered, but the standouts were the fried mozzarella and the pastas. The fried mozzarella was perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey throughout. Then the rigatoni bolognese and the spicy lobster pasta were the ideal choices for the two of us. We especially loved the chew and texture of the fresh pasta.

Service: This was the definition of seamless. The staff always had a purpose when they came by and it felt like we were being looked after. No moments of awkwardly wanting to ask for the dessert menu or the check.

Atmosphere: We couldn’t stop looking at all the amazing decor. Our window seats especially had great soft lighting. All the fixtures and elegant colors matched the high quality of the food.“

“I wish I found this place sooner! Ive tried the pepperoni and buffalo chicken pizzas, and both were delicious, fresh, and perfectly crispy. One of my favorite pizzas and definitely my go to from now on. I also tried the buffalo chicken tenders, and they were also delicious and was a huge portion size! Highly reccomend this place.“

“I recently visited Monteverdi for Drinks on the patio and then more drinks and Dinner, and can I just say I have not experienced Cambridge like this before! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the stunning waterfront views - it’s the perfect backdrop for any meal inside or on the patio. The staff was beyond exceptional, making us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. Now, let’s talk food! My friend ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese, and it was hands-down one of the best they've had - perfectly seasoned with a rich blend of beef, veal, and pork, and she said the locally made pasta was just to die for. I ended up just getting the the Warm Marinated Olives since I am a light eater, but they were also a fantastic vegan option that's full of flavor and the perfect snack for someone like me. And the drinks that kicked off the evening, as well as during dinner (we maaay have had a round or 2)?! Let me just say, the VELO Vodka Espresso Martinis were the ideal pairing for everything we got - a smooth and rich cocktail that’s just as classy as it sounds. And it's also a locally made (& women owned) Vodka company! If you’re looking for outstanding food, drinks, service, and ambiance, Monteverdi is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!“

“Loved it! The food was outstanding! Had the grilled vegetables to start that came with a lovely vinaigrette. I had the Pasta Almalfitana - delicious! Perfectly cooked homemade pasta with a lemon parmesan sauce and olives. YUM! Met the lovely owner. Staff was terrific! Very reasonably priced. Others in our party had the chicken picatta and the eggplant parmesan. Wish we lived in the neighborhood!“

“I came with friends to this corner shop for a fun dinner and the energy in the space was great! It can be a bit crowded, but if you are looking for a bustling feeling then this might be the place! I ordered the salmon dish and I was well satisfied with the preparation. It came on a bed of assorted vegetables that provide some strong grounding flavor to the dish. The dish in general could have used a hint more spices, but I was satisfied with the meal“

We got the gnocchi and beef carpaccio to start, both of which were very good. I got the pollo castallana for the main course, and it did not disappoint.
