Dietary restrictions: They handle dietary restrictions very well! I have a tree nut allergy and was easily able to navigate the menu with little limitation. They do not have GF pasta FYI.“

“Had an outstanding experience here! Our server was extremely friendly. He had great recommendations and did not steer us wrong once. The Antipasto Platter was great to share, as was the Tuna Carpaccio. It had such bright flavors and was truly amazing. For me the star of the show was the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni with vodka sauce. It had a subtle spice that complemented the flavor and I liked the dish more and more as I ate it and haven't stopped thinking about it. Other favorites at the table were the Porcini Lasagna and the Scallops Picatta. I highly highly recommend Geppetto!!“

“Amazing atmosphere and decore set tone for a wonderful fun time with friends. Staff was very friendly, explained us all of the flavors and menu. The menu is wide from pasta, fries, wraps, pizza etc. We ordered pizzas, pastas, fries and garlic breads. Food was amazing and cooked to perfection. I would like to visit every weekend. Keep it up!!

“I recently visited Monteverdi for Drinks on the patio and then more drinks and Dinner, and can I just say I have not experienced Cambridge like this before! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the stunning waterfront views - it’s the perfect backdrop for any meal inside or on the patio. The staff was beyond exceptional, making us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. Now, let’s talk food! My friend ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese, and it was hands-down one of the best they've had - perfectly seasoned with a rich blend of beef, veal, and pork, and she said the locally made pasta was just to die for. I ended up just getting the the Warm Marinated Olives since I am a light eater, but they were also a fantastic vegan option that's full of flavor and the perfect snack for someone like me. And the drinks that kicked off the evening, as well as during dinner (we maaay have had a round or 2)?! Let me just say, the VELO Vodka Espresso Martinis were the ideal pairing for everything we got - a smooth and rich cocktail that’s just as classy as it sounds. And it's also a locally made (& women owned) Vodka company! If you’re looking for outstanding food, drinks, service, and ambiance, Monteverdi is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!“

“This is the most authentic Italian meal I’ve had in a very long time. The service was outstanding, the recommendations exceptional, and the atmosphere is unmatched. It was a 30-min drive from our hotel, but we came on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed!“

“A friend and I walked into the restaurant by chance really but I now understand why some reviews call it a hidden gem. We had been kicked out of La royal next door for taking too much time at the table. We wanted to finish our dinner and conversation.

“I've been steadily ordering food from here since I moved back into this area in September. I must say I haven't been disappointed once which is why I continue to be a customer. Everything from the pizza to the subs to the huge portion of fries are always outstanding. You won't be disappointed eating here.

“Had the 'private' dining room for a business dinner, and didn't get the full choice of the menu. A grilled sea fish combo I chose was a little bland, and the quality was average, but the overall experience and other food was good.

Dietary restrictions: As it's a grill as well as a pasta joint, there are plenty of gluten free options. I guess you could ask for gluten free pasta like at many Italian places these days, although it's usually penne.“
