Anthony's East Side Deli

A friend told me that this unassuming deli in East Arlington serves terrific dumplings (momos). I finally tried them for myself this week. They were delicious! I tried the basic chicken ones, but a wide variety of flavors are available: veggie, pork, BBQ style, w/chipotle, crunchy, fried, w/chili; and two others called Jhol and Kothey. I'll definitely try them all. Their menu has a page devoted to Nepali Special Food. I talked with two of the employees and they were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

This place is terrible. Has changed hands twice since the original owner left. I went in a few months ago, no Boarshead product in the cases! Stay way from this place !

What a massive disappointment My turkey sandwich had no cranberry sauce which it was supposed to have and the stuffing was extremely overcooked and looked more like an overcooked burger. Additionally they gave me a 2l bottle of Coke instead of the Diet Coke ordered. This is sad because it’s just sloppy and shoddy work. I had high hopes for this under new management place but I long for the previous owner. This experience has left a bad taste and a total swing and a miss! Double check your orders completely before you leave is my advice or better yet Avoid this place and go to Luigis or Olympic instead

If you are in the area of Arlington, MA you MUST stop in and eat at Anthony's East Side Deli! The best meatball sub (and many say this) in the area. Huge meatballs with sauce and melted cheese. The Sicilian square pan pizza is also a MUST! I have many friends that go here to just drop in and grab food to go. It is really an order and take out place with the very best deli and assorted items for you to take home or back to work. Staff is beyond helpful and friendly. A MUST eat stop for great food! Located on Massachusetts Avenue with parking on the street. ENJOY!

Great choices, fresh ingredients, but not always consistent. I've opened up sandwiches that have very little meat, and sometimes I can't get my mouth around the bread it's so stuffed.

I work in the area and Anthony’s East Side Deli is one of my “go to“ places for lunch! When you go, make sure to try either the Turkey Delicious Sub/sandwich or the Chicken Parmesan (on the braided roll!). Friendly owner and staff, too!

I was glad to discover the truth of positive reviews of Anthony's East Side Deli today when Jimmy made me a delicious prosciutto and provolone sub with spicy Italian relish. I will have to make another trip to Arlington in the future for this authentic Italian fare!
