Rolled in here for lunch on a Saturday with my family. Small space, super cute; with a bright, happy vibe. The menu is a mixture of Nepalese and Indian food and everything we had was delicious. Service was so chill and kind. Thank you for such a great meal!
I highly recommend dining in at Makalu! We just had the best experience there for dinner. The vibe was amazing, we loved the ambiance, the owners clearly put a lot of love and labor into the aesthetic of the space and it’s beautiful! We also LOVED our meal. We split the Korma Paneer curry and it was 10/10. We got the garlic naan bread with it and that was delicious as well. We additionally got the vegetarian momo and highly recommend it! Lastly, we got the lava cake for dessert...
We've ordered once and enjoyed it. The paneer tikka masala was good but nothing to write home about. The aloo gobi was quite good, and we also enjoyed the panipuri (though if you're not familiar with this appetizer, there's some assembly required so ask someone for information). Generally we're looking forward to ordering again and will probably try some other curries.
